My name is Claudia Quan. I was born in Miami, Florida, and moved to Santa Fe the summer after 7th grade. I graduated from St. Michaels High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science from The University of New Mexico. In 2014, I graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, I moved back to New Mexico to complete a postdoctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at UNM. After living away from home for so many years, I am blessed to be back and honored to serve patients from Santa Fe and surrounding areas.
My love for dentistry became a reality after I graduated from college in 2006. I started working as a pediatric dental assistant and immediately fell in love with dentistry. From my first day as a dental assistant, I knew I wanted to become a dentist. My favorite aspects of dentistry are working with my hands and educating patients on the importance of a healthy mouth and the connection between oral health and a healthy body.

Hello, my name is Naomi. I was born and raised in Santa Fe. My interest in dentistry began in high school when I had braces. Having braces made me think how cool it was to work with teeth, and be able to have an ideal smile and overall health. Ive always had good memories as a kid going to the dentist. I hope comfort is something I can bring to our patients.
I have an Associates degree in dental science and recently graduated from the dental assisting program at Santa Fe Community College. Im an artsy person that enjoys drawing and getting creative with any type of art. I like going to the gym, staying active, being outdoors, riding my horse once in a while, and helping others in any way I can.
Hello, my name is Violet. I am currently a sophomore attending the University of New Mexico. I am majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry to pursue a medical degree. Working in the dental field in the office has been something new and exciting for me. I like helping people in any way I can. In my spare time, I enjoy being with family and friends.
Hello, my name is Reyna. I was born and raised in Santa Fe, NM. I received my bachelors degree in psychology from the University of New Mexico, in the hope to apply to the physician assistant program or the dental hygiene program. I had braces for about 6-7 years which sparked my interest in dentistry. I enjoy being a dental assistant because it allows me to help our patients with their oral health as well as help them have a great experience at Riverwalk Dental.

Dr. Quan is the best dentist I've ever gone to. She is kind, compassionate, extremely gentle and so friendly. She truly makes her patients feel at home. It is very apparent that Dr. Quan cares a great deal for her patients and goes the extra mile. I am so Happy I have to search no further for a wonderful dentist. I'd highly recommend River Walk Dental.

Dr. Quan is the best dentist if you are wary or fearful of dental treatments! I was in desperate need of emergency dental care for my family member who was so debilitated with tooth pain he couldn't eat, speak, or sleep. A random google search directed me to Dr. Quan and I cannot express what a god send she was. She opened her office for us on Christmas Day to perform an extraction! She was kind, wise, gracious, and thorough. She dealt with dental anxiety with such empathy it put us all at ease. She was extremely skilled with extracting a tooth that was terribly infected and painful. We still can't believe she treated a new patient on Christmas and remained upbeat and positive. We are a family who generally fear and mistrust all dental practitioners from terrible past experiences. Dr. Quan has a soft touch and a calming empathic bedside manner, whilst being highly skilled and precise.

After seeing a total of 5 different dentists in Santa Fe and Los Alamos, best dentist in Santa Fe - hands down! Very flexible with appointments, honest advice/diagnosis and, most of all, very friendly staff. I strongly recommend this place.

I am so grateful to have found Riverwalk and Dr. Quan! Having had some negative experiences with dentists in the past, including challenging surgeries, and because I often experience tooth sensitivity, I have always found it hard to get motivated to go to the dentist. Riverwalk has demonstrated compassion, clear communication, gentleness, and commitment to getting my whole story and using all the information possible to help me make the best decisions for my tooth care. I recently had my second appointment at Riverwalk Dental and it went just as smoothly as the first. The staff was so friendly and professional. Dr. Quan was very gentle and knowledgeable. I felt like she truly cared about my comfort. She answered all of my questions and concerns leaving me feeling confident that my oral health is in good hands. I highly recommend Riverwalk Dental!

Dr. Quan is an excellent dentist. I'm so happy to have her as my new dentist. She answered many questions about my complicated dental issues. She was kind, and very gentle with my tender jaw. It's a challenge for me to find a dentist that will not exacerbate my jaw issues. Also, she detected something important on an X-ray that my old dentist missed. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Quan is a highly skilled, professional and compassionate dentist. I am glad I finally found a dentist who listens and takes the time to address my concerns. She provides excellent dental care and I will definitely be returning for maintenance care and any future treatments. I also appreciate that she is environmentally friendly!

Dr. Quan at Riverwalk Dental recently did a cleaning and exam for my three year old daughter, and it was an absolutely positive experience for both of us. My daughter was slightly apprehensive at first, but Dr. Quan and her assistant were compassionate and quickly eased my daughter's fear. Another important part of the experience was how careful the staff at Riverwalk Dental was concerning the current pandemic. I feel like they went above and beyond to ensure the safety of the office environment and their patients. I will be returning to Riverwalk Dental for future dental care for my daughter and myself.

I went to Dr. Quan for my regular tooth cleaning and I enjoyed the experience. I am normally a gagger (I have a strong gag-reflex and I throw up when I have my X-rays done because of the thing they put inside your mouth) but I haven't thrown up since I started seeing Dr. Quan because of her electronic X-ray sensor. It's smaller than the plastic X-ray sheet that other dental offices use. The dentist also let me look at my X-rays on the laptop and showed me where I have cavities. I thought it was neat. I was happy with my experience.

Dr. Quan cares. She actually did the cleaning better than any dental hygienist. She discovered that I was missing brushing a back molar, and she picked off every single piece of calculus and tarter with meticulous attention to detail. When she used the ultrasonic water torture device, I couldn't feel a thing. She also took my Delta Dental insurance without telling me that I owed her more money. Look no further. She is an exceptionally outstanding dentist. Give her a try; you will not be disappointed.
