Dr. Mathews has received both his B.S. and D.D.S. from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

He has over 30 years of experience as a general dentist based in Ohio. He is married with 4 children and 3 grandchildren. He loves fishing and sports. He enjoys spending time with friends and family at the family cottage in Quebec in his spare time.

Sandi currently handles Accounts Payable and Marketing; occasional assisting. She received her CDA in 1985, and has helped out, off and on, in the office over the years. She retired from Ohio University in 2011. Sandi and Dr. Mathews live in Athens and have 4 childrenJon, Krissie, Morgan and Abby; and 3 grandchildrenWill, Quinn and Graham; one dogLucy; and one catSophie. They enjoy spending their free time at the lake in Quebec, where family and friends gather to enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, cooking togetherlots of enjoyable people time!

Suzie has been a practicing hygienist since she graduated from Columbus State Community College Dental Hygiene Program in 2011. Suzie has been with Dr. Mathews office since 2014. She received her Bachelors in Biological Science/Pre-Dentistry from Ohio University in 2000 and filled the time between her two degrees with a career in customer service, which is a huge asset to her as front desk manager for our office, as well as seeing dental hygiene patients. Suzie was born and raised in Circleville, where her parents still live and she visits often, especially for the annual Circleville Pumpkin Show. Her heart and soul belong to Athens County, where she resides. Suzie enjoys hiking, cooking, baking, spending time with friends and family, crafting, and local foraging in her spare time. She enjoys live music and travels as much as possible to see her favorite bands. You can also find her visiting the local Pawpaw Festival, where she competes in the yearly food competition

Ruthie is a registered dental hygienist, having graduated from Rhodes State College in 2004. She has been a practicing hygienist for 17 years; and a member of Dr. Mathews team for the past 11 years. Ruthie is originally from Greenville and enjoys visiting family and friends there. She lives in Middleport with her husbandMike; son--Baylor, and cat--Noir. In her free time, she loves camping during the summer at a local lake, making new friends and acquaintances, baking and cooking She also volunteers for her sons boy scout troupe and attends many ball games and special events for him.

Linda has had a career as a dental assistant for 34 yearsworking in the past for Dr. Strekal and Dr. Legg, locally. She has been an assistant on Dr. Mathews team for the past 14 years. Linda is a local girl and proud Alexander Spartan. She is married and she and her husband, Gene, live locally. She has one son, Cory, and two grandchildrenRyder and Kinzlee. She enjoys spending time with her husband and grandchildren, which is always entertaining! In her free time, she enjoys reading and Netflix bingeing.
