Dr. Sandra Pojtek grew up in Canada and fell in love with dentistry after undergoing orthodontic treatment as a teen. Experiencing the life-altering results first hand, she discovered her passion for changing lives through creating and maintaining beautiful smiles. Dr. Pojtek earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Montreal in 2014 and completed her residency at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine.
When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr Pojtek enjoys spending her free time with family. She loves being on the water and enjoying the beautiful Florida weather. Another passion of hers is food and enjoying cuisines from different cultures, with Indian and Thai being her favorites.
Lauren graduated from Hillsborough Community College with her Associate of Science degree in dental hygiene. While in school, Lauren was recognized for her excellence in clinical dental hygiene and received the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award. She was also the recipient of the Student American Dental Hygiene Association Service Award for her commitment to volunteer work. Lauren is an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and is passionate about patient advocacy and care. Lauren currently resides in Tampa and enjoys living along the beautiful landscape of Floridas gulf coast.
Michelle is originally from York, Pennsylvania, and moved to Riverview, Florida, in 2015 following her graduation from the dental program at the YTI Career Institute in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 2013. She graduated with a 5.0 GPA. Michelle joined our team in June 2019 and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service and to treating each of our patients with kindness and respect. She enjoys being part of a dental practice where we work together to provide quality patient care in an environment where our patients feel valued and cared for. Michelle is a busy wife and mother of two children, one daughter and one son. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, dancing and trying new restaurants.
Sonalee completed her associate degree in 2017 and joined our team in March 2020. She enjoys the steady pace of the practice and working with a talented team, and she loves the variety at our office. She can be found in the front office as well as assisting the doctor and providing care, and she makes an effort to help in any way she can. Sonalee also maintains our operatories and sterilization station so that we can give our patients the care they need. Sonalee is the oldest of three sisters, and outside of the office, she enjoys studying, enjoying the outdoors, and performing basic maintenance and modifications on her car. Prior to becoming a dental assistant, Sonalee worked in construction.

We strive to make your visit with us as comfortable and anxiety-free as possible. Our priority is to provide an educational experience so that our patients make an informed decision about treatment and learn how to take care of their dental health for life. Excellent services and staff. I went in for a first time visit this past Saturday , everyone from the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist were so friendly and informative. I waited less than five minutes to get seen and they got right to it once I was in the dental room. Will not be going anywhere else!

We were new to the area and thank god I found them, everyone there were all so nice and welcoming with my children and I, I definitely recommend and it's so clean. I absolutely loved everyone there. I'm so glad they are also super close to home which is a plus! Thank you ladies for such a wonderful experience!

First time visit was amazing . So welcoming as soon as I walked through the door. Especially Emilia I don't know if I spelled it correctly . dr sanders is the best ! She made me feel safe because I'm really insecure about my teeth

Front desk staff is above and beyond in kindess. Hygienists are so kind and patient with family of small children. Easy to schedule/reschedule. And of course the dentist is so personable. My only critique is that this wonderful staff rarely introduce themselves so I can't give credit since I don't know their names.

This office is great! New to the area and been there only a couple of times. The receptionist called me by name on my second visit like she's known me forever and the hygienist and dentist are so kind and took my preferences into consideration in my treatment. So happy to have my new forever dental office! Oh and they're so close to home!! SCORE!

Amazing Staff and Dr. Pojtek was excellent with my daughter. We went into the office as an emergency due to my daughter having a broken molar. Everyone made my young daughter feel safe and brave. The procedure was done in 30 minutes.

These people are very ethical. There was some misinformation regarding my insurance coverage and the insurance decided not to pay for the services for myself, my wife and my kids. The Dentistry decided I was not at fault and decided to write off the loss instead of fighting me or the insurance to recover the cost. This type of ethical behavior in business in not common and should be applauded.

I'm terrified of going to the dentist and this is the first place I went in 6 years and they were amazing did a filling for me and I didn't feel a thing all the girls in here are so sweet! Will definitely be going back!

So this was my first time here and I loved how I got my teeth cleaned without having to come back as it usually has happened in the past. They were welcoming and very communicative. Explained everything as they went along. The hygienist has a lot of experience and again very compassionate with my needs. I have to be honest that I am not a big fan of dentist and I've been through a few hence me not being at one for almost a year since I was at a different dentist. It's still early as I have more work to be done but if I had to go off on first expressions I would say they met my expectations.

Today was my first dental appointment ever since I moved to the USA and honestly I was a little skeptical going to a new dentist. But, Doctor Sandra and team were awesome from the moment I entered their facility I felt like I knew them before. I would recommend Riverview Family Dentistry if you're looking a family vibe clinic.

Great experience. Went for a basic cleaning and x-rays. After my appointment, she took me to the back and ground down some protruding adhesive on a few teeth free of charge! Very generous.

What a wonderful office. I'm terrified of the dentist and Dr Pojtek made me feel unbelievably comfortable each time. Her assistant that I've had each visit has also been very kind and comforting. The doctor is very meticulous and easy to talk to. She comes up with a care plan perfect for you. I highly recommend this office!

Dr. Pojtek is honest and I trust her opinions on recommendations. After a previous bad experience with another practice, Dr. Pojtek provided guidance without being pushy. I felt comfortable switching to her and have been very satisfied with all my appointments. She is very friendly and personable too!
