Jen graduated from the University of New England in 1998 and has been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 20 years. Jen came to our practice right out of school and has been with us ever since!
Pauline is a graduate of UNE and has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 34 years. She is also licensed for local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. She has spent the last 20 years with our practice.
When shes not with us, she is on the move: biking, hiking, downhill skiing, or scuba diving. Pauline has also combined her love of travel with her commitment to helping others on numerous dental humanitarian missions including Guatemala, Jamaica, Peru, Cambodia, Vietnam, and New Orleans. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and fine dining.
Abby graduated from UMA Bangor in 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene and has transitioned from being a patient of the practice to joining our team. Abigail has been with our practice for over 3 years. She is also licensed to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.
Abby took part in a humanitarian mission trip to the Dominican Republic and hopes to go on many more. As an outdoor enthusiast, she likes to run, hike, and go camping. She also loves to spoil her adorable cat, Lola!
Jake graduated from the University of New England in 2016 with a Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene and is also licensed to administer local anesthesia. After graduation, Jake gained experience temping at various dental offices in Maine. He accepted a full time position with us because we possessed all of the things he was looking for in a dental office. When Jake is not working, you can find him hiking and camping in the summer, and on the slopes snowboarding in the winter. You can consider him a sports fanatic, as he loves all sports and plays basketball as often as he can.
Deanna is a Dental Hygienist who graduated from the University of New England and has been here at Riverview Dental since 2005. She took a couple years off to stay at home with her 2 young girls, but is now back with a smile every morning.
Shae has been a dental assistant for 25 years, is radiology certified and also received her EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) certification in 2018. She has been a part of our team for over 12 years assisting Dr. Bernardy.
Leigh started in the dental field as a receptionist for seven years. She later became a dental assistant before taking time off to open a childcare center. Now that her kids are grown, she has returned to dentistry as an assistant and lab technician. She is radiology certified and eager to help wherever she is needed. Leigh has also utilized her skills on dental missions to New Orleans, Jamaica, and Peru.
Amanda, a graduate from Lewiston High School, decided immediately that dentistry was her career path. She started as a dental assistant at age 18 with her certification in radiology. By 22, she became one of the first EFDA's (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) in the state of Maine. Amanda enjoys her career and creating healthy, beautiful smiles for her patients.
Lori has an associate degree in paralegal sciences. She has worked as a medical assistant in the past and has decided to change careers to the dental field. Lori has completed on line training for Dental Assisting and is working hard to put her newly acquired skills to use. She is studying for her dental radiography exam and hopes to complete this in the very near future.
Patty has worked in all aspects of the dental field since 1975. She has been employed as an assistant and receptionist for general and orthodontic practices, and more recently as office manager for an oral surgeon. She comes to us with a wealth of experience. Patty helps facilitate financials with patients and answers any questions regarding insurance claims and billing.

I couldn't be happier with today's visit. I called first thing this morning with a dental emergency and they not only got me right in, but they gave me undivided attention AND took extra time with me to take preventive measures to reduce the risk of this happening again. I am beyond grateful! And Dr Bernardi is MY HERO!

I was seen on an emergent basis, 45 minutes after making the call. The staff went out of their way to not only fit me in but to also be sympathetic to the fact I was in pain. They were all pleasant courteous and professional when I arrived and throughout the visit. This includes the girls at the front desk, the X-ray tech and the doctor. The doctor did not act like she was being inconvenienced, she seemed to be genuinely concerned. When I left the exam room and got out to the front desk, the girls were already on the phone following up with my medical doctor to make sure all was going to be ok with the plan for follow up care. They didn't waste anytime making sure everything was in order. Highly recommend them.

I was very happy that they scheduled me for an appointment as an emergency. Due to the fact that I had to leave for two weeks with a broken bridge. The service is always A+ when I go there. The friendliness makes you feel part of the family.

Great place to go for dental work. Staff very friendly and caring. I had a set of very loose dentures, went into the office in the morning for a reline, and was able to come back that afternoon, the denture work was completed and they now fit perfectly and I have no need for denture adhesive. Everything was fantastic!

Love the vibe in this office. Dr Bernady is kind, empathetic to fear and even funny with a drill in his hand.. Abby is the best for cleaning and all others I have met over the years as a patient. Great music too.

Amazing they took me in last minute for an emergency, so sweet and kind . Only wish I left not in excruciating pain due to oral surgery being booked out 3 weeks later. I'm so miserable, but everyone was amazing. Thank You Riverview Dental Associates.

The dentists and the hygienists are great. The policies regarding appointments are extremely rigid and the front desk regularly reminds you that there is a three strike policy and you will be let go as a patient. Not great if you have a job that requires flexibility from your service providers.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and made me feel at ease in a brand new office. They had high-tech equipment. Dr. Bernardy was very friendly and personable and approached my dental issues with tact. I am actually excited to go back to get my dental work finished!
