Following the completion of her doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Pandya entered a one-year post-doctoral residency in Hospital Dentistry at Loyola University Medical Center. Thereafter, Dr. Pandya completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. During this two-year program, she also earned a Masters in Oral Sciences for her research on the management of traumatic dental injuries in children. The culmination of this training was the honor of becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2011.
Since finishing her training, Dr. Pandya has worked exclusively on childrens dental needs in both the private practice and operative settings. She and her husband moved to Houston from Chicago in 2013, after which she continued to gain experience in pediatric care issues ranging from the routine to the complex. In 2016, Dr. Pandya opened Riverstone Pediatric Dentistry, fulfilling a long-time dream of establishing her own community practice.
