Following the completion of her doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Pandya entered a one-year post-doctoral residency in Hospital Dentistry at Loyola University Medical Center. Thereafter, Dr. Pandya completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. During this two-year program, she also earned a Masters in Oral Sciences for her research on the management of traumatic dental injuries in children. The culmination of this training was the honor of becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2011.
Since finishing her training, Dr. Pandya has worked exclusively on childrens dental needs in both the private practice and operative settings. She and her husband moved to Houston from Chicago in 2013, after which she continued to gain experience in pediatric care issues ranging from the routine to the complex. In 2016, Dr. Pandya opened Riverstone Pediatric Dentistry, fulfilling a long-time dream of establishing her own community practice.

It was my daughters first dentist appt ever (2 years old). The dentist was so patient and kind with her especially given that my daughter's initial reaction was screaming crying. She took her time talking to me and letting me know how the appointment would go while my daughter calmed down. After when she gave her a toothbrush and sticker, my girl was thrilled and happy as can be. I also appreciate that they are still being particularly safe.

When your child tells you that he can't wait for the next dental visit, one must write a five star review. This is our 2nd year with Dr. Mitra Pandya and her practice, and they deserve five stars for reasons as follows: 1. The doctor and the two ladies from her team treat both child and parent with courtesy and friendliness all times. 2. The have reasonable Covid procedures and precautions in place. 3. Child and parent were both delighted with how clean his teeth looked after the checkup/cleaning. 4. Child had a dental experience that left him feel acknowledged, respected, and rewarded. (Thank you for the sticker and gumball toy!) 5. Child was encouraged to keep up with good dental hygiene and even learnt something new from a coupon/quiz. (Thank you for the dental kit and the mouthwash!) Thank you Dr. Pandya & Team!

I drive one hour away every time I have to come here for my 2 kids 4 and 9. I've been coming to Dr. Pandya ever since they were babies and I wouldn't have it any other way. Dr. Pandya and her staff are amazing at what they do, her and her staff are very patient and caring. They will make your child feel safe while being there and make sure us parents have a peace of mind knowing they are well taken care of, you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Pandya and her team are the best!! My kids, now 5 and 3, have been coming to her for a few years, and they absolutely LOVE going to the dentist. They remind me to schedule their appointments :). She is always so friendly and clearly very knowledgeable. Absolutely recommend!

Doctor Pandya is AMAZING at what she does! We have the best experience with her and her staff. My daughter has been going to her for almost 2 years now! Doctor Pandya has such an amazing gift with making the children feel so comfortable the entire time. My daughter loves going to see her! Such a relief as a parent!

First visit held earlier this week and let me say, I'm blown away and impressed already by Dr. Pandya. She is thorough, considerate, patient, and knowledgeable. My kids warmed up to her immediately. The office is clean and even with her covid protocols in place, I felt safe as a parent. I'm so happy I was able to sit back there with my childten during their exams. Definitely will be returning!

RPD is awesome. Dr. Pandya is excellent, she makes our kids feel comfortable and they love to go to the dentist. The staff in the office make it easy to schedule and explain treatments appropriately. Would definitely recommend this dentist.

My 5 and 3 year olds had such a lovely experience after a previously traumatic experience with another dentist. The practice is super clean, cute and child friendly. The staff is SO friendly and helpful and Dr. Pandya was an absolute pleasure to work with. She thoroughly explained ALL courses of treatment and even told us we could get a second opinion if needed. (We won't be needing one) My kids were always apprehensive going to dentist visits but one time with her and she completely won them over. HIGHLY recommend.

This dentist office is great! The staff is very friendly and Dr. Pandya was great. Good bedside manner and answered all of my questions. My daughter was scared for her first dental appointment but they made her feel very comfortable and she even got a prize from their prize machine afterward. Great experience here!
