Dr. Prashant Amin was born in Chicago, raised in Dallas, and went to school at the University of Southern California, where he received a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. He has over 18 years of experience in the field of dentistry, including 4 years of practicing dental hygiene in Los Angeles. Dr. Amin moved to India for 5 years, where he earned a Bachelors of Dental Surgery from Manipal University, ranked the top dental school in India (out of over 300 institutions). He then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio Dental School, graduating with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery with high honors. To offer his patients the best treatment possible, and be able to practice in a variety of settings, Dr. Amin completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at UTHSCSA. For the last 4 years, Dr. Amin has also been a clinical professor of dentistry at The University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. He currently holds licenses to practice in California, Texas and India.
Dr. Amins educational experiences in different places, along with time in private practice and teaching, have given him the ability to treat people from all walks of life. His practical, conservative approach is enhanced by his gentle hands and friendly nature. Dr. Amin is skilled in general dentistry, including fillings, crowns and bridges, implant placement, bone and gum grafting, 3rd molar (wisdom teeth)/complex extractions, and root canal treatment, among other dental procedures. To make dental visits more comfortable, he also provides IV sedation for patients seeking treatment ranging from cleanings to extractions.
During his spare time, Dr. Amin enjoys traveling, sports and volunteering his time to charity dental missions in other countries. He is an avid fan of the USC Trojans, Dallas Cowboys, and Dallas Mavericks (sorry, Laker fans!). Dr. Amin looks forward to taking care of your dental needs!

Dental work can be a little scary, but the staff and dentist at Riverside Tooth Co made my experience pleasant. I also did my Invisalign treatment there and loved the care I received.

I've been going here for the longest time I want to say over 2 years now. They are very welcoming and nice. This place is well kept, very clean. I've never had a problem with this company at all. The ladies here are excelente and caring, I love coming to get my teethe cleaned by them. Highly recommend come here! 10/10!

My husband and I have been coming to see Dr. Sandhu and Dr. Amin for 3 years now and they are great! They make conversation and listen to our schedules so that they may make the best treatment options for us. Our hygienists Sydney and Alexis are also always fun to chat with and super sweet! We never mind making the drive to come see everyone here!

Top notch dental office. They are honest and don't try to push unnecessary treatments. They're honest and straightforward.
