My typically feelings towards dentists are negative. But visiting Garey Potamianos DDS has changed my views on what good dentistry is! I love that this place makes me comfortable during procedures I don't know how to make a new review. But this place is still great a few years later!

"I have had increasingly poor experiences with Dr. Schulze. His front desk staff and hygienists have mostly been outstanding but my experiences with the doctor himself have been poor. There has been some inconsistency in his recommendations to me regarding treatment of a potential cavity and he does not seem to review his notes from prior visits. Most recently, I had a routine cleaning/checkup scheduled and was not informed until I was in the chair that Dr. Schulze was not even in the office. I was unpleasantly surprised that I was not informed of this prior to my appointment - I have a very busy work schedule and would have much preferred to reschedule to a date where I could get everything accomplished at once. I am surprised a provider would allow a practice such as this. That in combination with the very poor bedside manner provided to my husband (who is also a patient) means we will both be finding another dentist.

First time to this office and I will be returning. The office was clean, staff was friendly and they took time cleaning my teeth and talking though the process.

It took me YEARS after moving to Chicagoland to find a dental practice where I trusted in both their care and their billing practices. Dr. Garey and his staff were a godsend! I was both disappointed and apprehensive when it was announced that the practice was changing hands, but Dr. Schulze has been nothing but pleasant and our dental care has remained the same gold standard as before. I adore the staff as well! As a health care provider myself, I understand appointment policies, so I make sure to arrive early.

They made dental care seem easy, the front desk friendly as can be, the staff extremely proficient with excellent bedside manner and modernized exam rooms! Definitely recommend this office to all!

I have to agree with Isis. This dr and his receptionist lack compassion and customer service. He could care less about losing customers. It's sad that Garry entrusted all of his patients with a guy like this. Dr Garry was the best and will be missed. Our family will be going elsewhere and will be telling everyone about him and how horrible he is.

This new doctor that now has all of Dr. Gary's patients lacks compassion and customer service skills. I've cares nothing at all about anything that has to with the patient he made it clear if it's not dentistry he doesn't care. Sad that Dr.Gary entrusted an entitled careless doctor with his life long patients. Dr.Gary was the best and will be missed.

This new doctor that now has all of Dr. Gary's patients lacks compassion and customer service skills. I hope someone treats his mother the way he treated mine today. My mother truly believed her appointment was at 10:30- so she would've been 5 minutes late. However, her appointment was at 10:20 so she was exactly 15 minutes late. Not only did he question my mother on what was going and why was she late in a non empathetic tone he also made it clear that he would only be able to partially service her because she was late. No compassion no empathy pure entitlement and just careless. Sir respectfully you're in the wrong field. You can't be a doctor without compassion and for future notice questioning patients like they owe you an explanation is poor customer service skills. I suggest you go back and do some trainings. He just ruined a 10+ year relationship in minutes. Mt mom and I have been long term patients for YEARS. Not anymore and Dr. Gary if you get to read this I hope you can help this doctor learn some new basic skills. We will miss you dearly! My mother has sat and waited 10-20 minutes past her original appointment time in the past for Dr.Gary. Mind you she is NEVER LATE first time ever and this is how she was treated. When I explained my mother frustration in having to come twice because of personal issues she's been having he was literally smiling through his mask. And said "that's not his concern his concern is dentistry". This mans sense of entitlement is just gross! I won't allow him to work on my mother's mouth. Told my mom to take her business elsewhere where she is appreciated. Doctor your sense of entitlement and lack of empathy is disgusting. You are a petty shameful privileged doctor who lacks compassion. Change career fields.

Brittanie -- the receptionist is always super nice and handles everything with a smile. Dr Garey is amazing as well. Highly recommend :)
