Dr. Rabassa obtained his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in biology and Minor degree in psychology from Villanova University before receiving his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from the LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida.

Dr. Rabassa began his dental career in Palm Bay prior to associating with Riverside Family Dental. Dr. Rabassa is committed to continuing education and professional development by staying current with the newest and most innovative aspects of general dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He typically completes over 60 hours of postdoctoral continuing education per year, and has focused on cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, restorative dentistry, and dentures.

Your family dental team is focused on you and your dental health! Our primary goal is lifetime care for your teeth. We offer a variety of services and are constantly learning newer techniques and adding updated technology to stay current with all that we do!

Our Mission'Our mission is to provide the best care to our patients in a comfortable environment and well informed way. We also feel it is important to give back to the community that supports us!'

'I am very fortunate to be able to practice in a profession that I love in such a great area! My main focus is on patient care and we strive to make your dental experience the best that you have ever had!'

'My goal is lifetime care for my patients. I aim to make them comfortable and help them in caring for their teeth and oral health to last a lifetime. I value prevention and conservative treatment and being proactive in treatment in order to prevent unnecessary dental emergencies. I challenge myself to stay current with research, technology, and materials to best serve my patients.'

Dr. Hamilton has resided and treated patients in Indian River County since 2005 serving this community and raising her own family. She is active in the community and her church and serves multiple organizations, including the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is also the host for the Hunt for Hope Florida, an annual event that raises money for inflammatory breast cancer research through The IBC Network Foundation, Inc.

Joshua Yanoviak, DMD had a great mentor while growing up: his orthodontist. Not only did he help Dr. Yanoviak have confidence in his smile, but this orthodontist also ignited Dr. Yanoviaks passion for dentistry and his desire to serve in the United States Air Force.

Dr. Yanoviak attended and graduated from Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2014. After dental school, he was admitted to a United States Air Force residency at Eglin AFB, FL, pursuing a certification in Advanced Education General Dentistry. Upon completion of the residency, Dr. Yanoviak served as Clinical Element Chief at Altus AFB, OK, overseeing the functions of the dental clinic and ensuring the dental health of over 1400 active duty members plus families and retirees. It was during this time that Dr. Yanoviak was awarded the 97th Medical Group Company Grade Officer (CGO) twice and nominated to Air Education Training Commands (AETC) Clinical Dentist of the Year.

Upon transitioning to private practice, Dr. Yanoviak continued his military service with the Air Force Reserves, achieving the rank of Major. It is difficult for Dr. Yanoviak to choose one favorite aspect of dentistry, but he really enjoys cosmetic and surgical procedures. He also appreciates how quickly technology is changing dentistry. For this reason, Dr. Yanoviak has logged over 450 hours taking continuing education in fields such as cosmetic dentistry, digital treatment planning, same-day milling technology amongst many others.

Dr. Yanoviak is a believer in giving back. He is a World Poverty Advocate with Compassion International, has taught ESL (English as a Second Language), participated with Mission of Mercy (MoM) dental outreaches and other various organizations.

Dr. Yanoviak and his wife Brittney welcomed the birth of their son in 2019. They are very thankful for him and are enjoying trying to keep up with a mobile little one. They also have two rescue dogs, Kota and Kimber. Kota is a bordador (border collie/labrador mix) and Kimber is whippet mix. All of them enjoy being active outdoors, whether hiking, exploring nature, the beach or outdoor festivals.

This dental practice continues to exceed my expectations in every way. I recently had a crown and tooth break. It was my front tooth. I was horrified... I really thought I was looking minimally at an implant and that I would need to sacrifice esthetics. I saw Dr. Rabassa who gave me the best news! He said he could save the tooth and make a new crown! I love that Dr. Rabassa and Kara don't just settle for "average" or "acceptable". They helped me to understand what was possible. The first try on the color was a little off but they both felt we could get closer so they sent it back to the lab. Today I'm leaving the office amazed! The crown is spot on for color and shape and better than I could have ever imagined. I just can't say enough about the awesome experience, teamwork, patience, and professionalism of the entire staff and Dr. Rabassa.

While visiting Sebastian on vacation, I had a dental emergency. I was in excruciating pain. The night clerk at the Best Western recommended Riverside Dental. I arrived at their door at 8am Monday morning with no appointment!! Courtney welcomed me with compassion & told me they would fit me in. I received the treatment I needed and will be forever grateful for their helping me . Highly recommend.

Been using Riverside Family Dental since I moved to the area 4 years ago. Dr. Hamilton has assembled the best staff of any doctor or dentist I have been to in Florida. Everyone there is top notch in their area of responsibility AND they make you feel like you are family. Dr. Hamilton is always caring and competent. If you are looking for a dentist, you will not be disappointed if you choose Dr Hamilton and her staff at Riverside.

Let me start by saying it is difficult for me to give this review. Actually it saddens me. My first visit to Riverside Family Dental was back around 2015. My impression of them at that time, was professional empathetic and caring. I felt no pressure of being upsold and I grew to trust Dr. Hamilton and her team. I referred many friends and acquaintances there. Within the last two years Dr. Yuknoviak has been added as well as some new front and back office staff. Since then, my patient experience has greatly declined. There are a few of the original staff and dental hygienists remaining whom I feel I can still count on but as for the others my confidence is low. My experience with doctor Yuknoviak has been negative in every one of my five or six encounters. He lacks empathy, he delivers the worst case scenario first, does not provide plan options and after recommending has not ensured followup. My most recent example... About 8 months ago he told me I needed to have a bridge replaced. I have contacted the office on several occasions to find they have taken no action, made mistakes and failed to follow-up resulting wasted time and no progress toward treatment. I provided feedback and was hoping the service would improve. I also wanted to be able to see Dr Hamilton again. Today, I went for my cleaning and exam. Lauren did a fantastic job with the cleaning however, Dr. Hamilton was not there again so Dr. Yunoviak came in for the exam. Dr. Yunoviak, after examining me, while pointing to the xray blatantly said something like... replacing the bridge is now nolonger possible due to progressing decay of a tooth involved and said "in a perfect world" (whatever that meant) two implants would now be necessary. I quickly realized that would be a lot more money and I expressed my frustration about the lack of action and time wasted. I received no apology, concern or reassurance from Dr. Yuknoviak who got up turned around and said "Enjoy the rest of your day!" and walks out. I then finally realized.... it's really not the same place anymore.

I received this letter after attending an appointment to extract a broken tooth. I was told I would need to have an X-ray done of the tooth in order for them to assess it. I had just became a new patient to this practice and did extensive X-rays at their request (over 20 x-rays were done) as this is their policy and I paid for said X-rays along with a discount package for my husband and I for the year ( the package costed $150.00) along with the $170.00 I paid for the exam and earlier mentioned X-rays. After explaining to the dental assistant, then the dentist himself that I was unable to afford the X-ray and just wanted the broken tooth extracted they told me they would not be able to treat me at that time and then I received this letter in the mail. I have never been discharged from any doctor or dentist in my 35 years of living. A copy of the discharge letter is attached. UPDATE: The dental office just called to get my "side of the story" stating that I was discharged due to the refusal of X-rays...I guess when you tell the doctor you cannot afford to pay for X-rays is considered a refusal and you are then punished by discharge. This practice is far from professional and I would advise against using them, especially if you do not have dental insurance and cannot afford procedures.

I have had nothing but great experiences at Riverside Dental. I travel from Rockledge because of the wonderful treatment I receive from The reception desk to my hygienist Lauren and of course the very knowledgeable Dentists. It feels like a family atmosphere. If you are looking for a comfortable feeling at a Dentist this is the place to be.

Absolutely ridiculous!!! Made an appointment for my fiancee to get her tooth fixed and specifically told them that her tooth was cracked, went to the appointment and she was told there was nothing they could today that they don't have the time in their schedule!!! That is absolutely ridiculous!!!

Dr. Rabassa and Kara are AMAZING. So professional and kind. They were so thorough, transparent about pricing, worked quickly and efficiently and took such good care of me. Sometimes it can be tricky to find a dentist you trust but this is definitely the place to go! Thank you Riverside Family Dental

This morning I phoned the Riverside office and was told to come in and they would check to see what the dental problem was and what was causing the pain. I was greeted by Kara who was quite helpful and pleasant. She took X-rays, etc and said the doctor would be in to see me. I hadn't really expected to be seen since I was a walk in and thought I'd have to make an appointment. I was then introduced to Dr. Rabassa who explained the problem. He stated that I had a choice of returning for extraction but that he had a bit of time to do it right then, again very much to my surprise. The entire procedure was painless and I cannot say enough about both the doctor and his assistant. They were great! I highly recommend Riverside for family dentistry as I was a new walk in patient but was treated like an old friend. Thank you to all.

I finally made my first dental appointment since the pandemic started and first time at Riverside family dental. I was nervous as I have had other Dentists wanting to do a lot of unnecessary work. Totally the opposite experience here. The hygienist Leandra was awesome and did a very through job. Dr. Hamilton during her exam saw something that She wants me to have checked by ENT. I feel that I had the most comprehensive check up I have ever had. The entire staff was very pleasant and organized.

This is the best dental service I've had in Sebastian. Great work, good patient dentist relationship and fair billing. I find it very interesting that the only poor ratings on this website came from people who were having personal financial difficulty. Never was there a poor rating with regard to dental practice, just the opposite...great ratings. Dentists don't have to offer credit to their patients, that's a service. It's the patient's obligation to pay their bills. The young dentist that was referred to as an intern is actually a very experienced dentist with many years experience in the US Air Force.

Just came from Riverside Dental and had lots of work done by Dr. Joshua Yanoviak. He was utterly fantastic. So patient and kind and because I'm very nervous about dental, he is now my hero. If you're looking for a great Dental office with caring and kind people w concerns about your health during COVID-19, this is defined the place to go. Thanks so very much!

SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!Forst and foremost most of these 5star reviews are from employees that still work there... who has employees write reviews for your company? Lol. I knew I needed an oral surgeon to extract my quad wisdom so every place I called that was my first question they said yes come on in we can help you out blah blah blah, I get there they say they need X-rays then after the X-rays they tell me they can't help me an to pay at the front... literally no information about the only reason I came there which was for my wisdom tooth...so I calmly asked why they told me they could help me if they couldn help me... which turned into an argument and now I'm blacklisted from the place because they make false promises and show no remorse "not my fault" is pretty much what all they said. Very poor customer service and care on there. I would never recommend anyone here under any circumstance .

I see Dr. Yanopiak at this practice. He is excellent. Straightforward, no surprises. He yanked out my wisdom tooth without any issue a while ago and I have been seeing him ever since for regular visits. Good sense of humor. The Dental Hygienists and very good, with a gentle touch and friendly. Definitely recommend.
