Dr. Ashoor earned a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University and returned to UIC for his Doctorate. He practices in all aspects of General Dentistry, including restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He is also certified in advanced CAD/CAM technology that enables patients to receive all-ceramic crowns in a single visit.
Ashoors career choice was inspired by the care his great-uncle gave refugees who sought help at his rural practice during the Iran-Iraq War. They often came to him in great pain, he says, and left thanking him, having been treated even if they were unable to pay. He enjoys reading, cooking, travel and collecting antiques.
Dr. Bares received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 2006. Dr. Bares is a native of Freeport, Illinois and a graduate of Freeport High School.
Dr. Bares specializes in all aspects of General Dentistry, including restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Bares is certified in advanced CAD/CAM technology that enables patients to enjoy chairside restorations for all-ceramic crowns in a single visit. He also is trained in Invisalign procedures as an option for straightening teeth.
Dr. Haraldson received her B.S degree from Northern Illinois University and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago. Dr. Haraldson has served in private practice since 1997 in the Joliet, IL area. She is an active member of the International Association for Orthodontics.
Dr. Haraldson specializes in all aspects of restorative and cosmetic general dentistry with an emphasis on pediatric and orthodontic care. She also educates patients on the importance of airway and functional therapy as well as maintaining oral health to sustain a healthy body.

I had 2 crowns done in the last 7 years at Riverside Dental. Both crowns fell of 3 times. Twice it was in a short amount of time a few months at best. One crown made it 7 years so when that one fell off I was charged $110.00 for the 5 minute job to glue it back on but then it fell off a few weeks later, they reglued that one no charge. But at that time I was told there were no guarantees that I have very strong jaws and it would probably fall off again. I have used Riverside Dental for somewhere near 40 years thru two owners and followed thru with any and all of their suggestions regarding good oral maintenance. Unfortunately this appears to be the way they treat faithful long time coustomers. I was also told that the owner would be in touch with me, it's been a couple of months now and that hasn't happened. So now I feel it only fair to give them this review. I would like to add that this in no way reflects the service I've received from the dental hygienists over the years. They are great, a pleasure to deal with and do an excellent job. I will miss dealing with them in the future. So if you have very muscular, strong jaws and need a crown I suggest you look elsewhere.

The worst dental service I've ever received. I went in for a cracked crown and they did a replacement crown. Before I had the procedure done, I asked for them to make sure my insurance covered it. They told me it was so I had the procedure done. Turns out my insurance only covered children procedures. A couple months later my new crown cracked. I went back in to have it replaced. They told my I need a root canal performed before they can replace the crown. I've never been able to chew on the side with new crown because of sensitivity. The tooth feels like it's loose and decaying. Also, the couple times I've had my teeth cleaned, it was the most painful teeth cleaning I've had.

Kind, compassionate people with exemplary knowledge and skill at this Savanna office. My pain was diagnosed and remedied quickly. I feel so much better. I'm grateful to have Riverside Dental as my new dental office.

After being asked by the dentist if I was a junkie and that's why my teeth are in rough shape. I told the dentist no and thet it's from lack of insurance coverage for over 10 years. Then after getting a 5k bill for the suggested treatment plan, I told the dental assistant " this is why my teeth are in rough shape, not drugs" never going back. Would give zero stars if possible

This is the best dental facility around. Dr. Herldson is second to none. If she ever retires I dont know what I would do.

Very pleasant staff. Had to have a tooth extraction. Staff was very attentive and Dr. made certain I was comfortable through the entire procedure. I was very pleased with my care. Been with Riverside Dental for many years and will continue to have my dental care provided by them.

I was seen for the first time today as a new patient. I saw Dr. Asher. He and his hygienist were both very great and friendly. I called yesterday afternoon and they were able to get me in today as I had a broken tooth and was very uncomfortable. They extracted my tooth for me on the spot so I didn't have to suffer in pain any longer. I will definitely be going to them for all my further dental care. The care is great and they were very accommodating.
