Dr. Sameh Kassem, D.D.S. grew up in Alexandria, Egypt. In 1987, he earned his Bachelor degree from the Alexandria University, Egypt BDS in dental science. He moved to the United States to attend Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Kassem graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia in 1993. Dr. Kassem carries on the strong dental tradition like his father before him, an accomplised dentist in Egypt. When not in the office, Dr. Kassem likes to spend his time with family and friends.

Terrible experience...ended up with a toothache after a simple filling job. They were very misleading about the costs associated with xray, filling etc. assured me that there won't be any charges. I ended up with a ridiculous bill even after they billed my insurance company

Dr.Kassem is the best. He's super understanding, patient and accommodating when it comes to patients like myself with high anxiety due to prior experiences. He knocked out that anxiety immediately with the way he approaches the treatment. I didn't feel anything except twice and it was immediately addressed and fixed with the utmost compassion. Highly 100% recommend. Front desk, Yesenia, is super helpful, sweet and patient.

I have been to other dentists and when they confirmed that treatments would be covered by our insurance it turned out that it did covered. But not in this place, we paid some amounts like co-pays, that is definitely understandable but we received a billed with a "k" amounts because we were told that insurance did not cover it. I paid this bill but I was not expecting it. Treatment was ok but be prepared for "untold" bills and extra amounts.

It was my first time at this Dentist office, and I can truly say I had a great experience. Dr. Kassem and his staff are very friendly and super professional. I will definitely be returning!

I have been seeing Dr. K for a couple years now and I am very pleased with his service. The office is nice. The front office folks are nice. The DA is also very nice. I like Dr K as a person too because he is easy to talk to and joke with and he makes me feel very at ease while in the chair. I intend to stick with him for dental issues for some time to come. Good office, nice folks, great care!

Always a pleasant experience, friendly staff and physician. Appreciate the service and the follow ups to let me know when I am overdue for a cleaning and they go a bit further to text about cancellations I can fill when overdue. How nice! Very convenient they offer texting and emailing with always a very fast response time. Highly recommend this practice.

The best dental care I have ever experienced. The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. Dr. Sameh Kassem was very kind and informative. Before a family friend recommended me to him, I went to another doctor in Maryland who was exaggerated of what my needs were in order to make more money. I was told that I need to prepare over $4,000.00 for my very simple tooth problem. That I need a crown on a missing part of my lower tooth and another crown on the upper tooth which was not damaged at all. I was devastated. I am very grateful to a family friend who is a long-lasting customer of Dr. Kassem for the recommendation. He fixed my tooth with just a regular fillings, and charged me with almost nothing. I could not be happier with the result. He didn't do all those false job that the other Dentist suggested. He was very down to earth, understanding, and took his time to comfort and explained the process. That was my very first experience with this dental office, and now I just made another appointment. I am truly blessed to find not only an experienced professional, but a doctor with the biggest heart to take good care of my dental needs for years to come.

Dr. Kassem and his staff are always highly professional and extremely courteous and understanding. He has been our family dentist for more than 15 years, treating my family and now our grandchildren . It was such a wonderful service which I received. The price was reasonable. The doctor, the assistant, the secretary were very nice with me. My teeth are perfect all the process was wonderful without paining or waiting. Hablan espanol muy bien.

I have had nothing but wonderful service and attention at Riverside Dental. The staff are all very pleasant, patient, and informative and Dr.Kassem is a wonderful and enjoyable dentist. I have been going for about 3 years and prefer this practice over anyothers I have been to.
