Dr. Dimke and his wife Jamie live in Rockford with their three children, Andrew, Avery and Henry. He spends his rare time off either golfing, or trying not to hurt himself working with heavy machinery. He has been the Ice Hogs team dentist since they moved to the AHL and partnered with the Chicago Blackhawks. Dr. Dimke performs all aspects of dentistry and hopes he can help you and your family feel welcome at Riverside Dental Center.
Dr. Joshua Hermanson grew up in Rockford, Illinois, and graduated from Boylan High School. He received his bachelors degree from the University of Iowa and graduated cum laude from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Hermanson enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. When he is not hanging with his girls, he enjoys playing fetch with the dogs, golfing, and doing yard work. Dr. Hermanson is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society
Dr. Kelli Aaby grew up in Rockford, Illinois, and graduated from Guilford High School. She received her bachelors degree from Western Illinois University and continued at the University of Illinois at Chicago for her Dental Degree. Dr. Aaby lives in Rockford with her husband of over 30 years. Their two millennial sons live, work, and play in northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. She is enjoying every minute of her personal time as the boys grow the family with close friends and new loves of their own. In her free time, Dr. Aaby enjoys ballroom dancing, playing and watching tennis, and spending time with family and friends (Unless fishing is involved!)
Dr. Corey Konieczki was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. He enjoyed a successful academic and athletic four years at Boylan High School. His competitive golf achievements earned him a scholarship to Marquette University in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He received his bachelors degree from Marquette and graduated cum laude from the University of Louisville Kentucky Dental School to earn his doctorate. He is enthused to be back in his hometown practicing dentistry and perfecting his golf game against Dr. Dimke and Dr. Hermanson. In the off-season, Dr. Konieczki also likes playing guitar, traveling, and reading a good book.

Had been going here since around 2010. No issues, until I went in for a routine cleaning which I have done every 6 months. I was greeted by a new assistant for my dentist and after probing, she refused to do the regular cleaning as it would be against her best interest for treatment and recommended a deep cleaning- the next available appointment being 4 months away. She would not listen to my need for even a basic cleaning to get by until that appointment would be available. This compromises my 20+ year old bridge that has been maintained seamlessly, until now. Now I sit with build up on the back of that bridge that compromises even the gum grafts. I see that the customer is not important here anymore from recent reviews. I'll be looking for a new dentist meanwhile and getting things done with my periodontist who had no issues getting me in much sooner. This place needs to listen to their patients.

Went to Riverside Dental for over 35 years. The only reason I stopped going is because I moved out of state. I really miss them!

Please save yourself!! I've been going here since I was young (7 years old) and I have been seeing Dr. Abbi. Now that I'm an adult with my own insurance my dental professional in Naperville has told me all the incorrect things she's done to my mouth. I've heard of alot of people having issues with her specifically... be safe!

Had to switch dentist after I changed jobs due to a change in insurance. After I waited 4 months to be seen (this was the next available appointment) They took xrays and told me I had to come back for my cleaning another time since I would require a deep cleaning. The hygienist then told me I would have to wait an additional 5 months for that appointment. I asked to speak to the dentist and he said that she should be able to do a regular cleaning after I said I would not be coming back and will be returning to my dentist that was no longer covered by insurance....I would rather pay out of pocket then go back to Riverside dental. After my cleaning I was there for almost 2 hours. Then I had to go out to pay for a mouthwash she gave me and set up my next appointment and the woman that was upfront that was helping me was the rudest person amd has no business being in any form of patient care. I will say that the dentist that I talked to for 5 minutes was very friendly.

Super rude front desk people, and they refuse to let you back with your young children who are scared! Tried talking with the office manager who helped us once but now refuses to return any calls. 0/10 do not take your young children there!

After my first visit to riverside dental I knew it wasn't what I was looking for. The staff wasn't very friendly and the young dentist that I spoke with wasn't very knowledgeable or friendly either. I asked what a rootcanal would cost ballpark and the the dentist and his helper would not answer this. They set up another appointment with their sales person that was in house. Back to the waiting area for more waiting. I did not wait and I left. Riverside dental never called After & didn't care

Went in to have a tooth removed and preparations for an implant. Dr. Dimke was able to extract the tooth without any noticeable pain. Flora was very informative on what to expect before and after. Thanks for the great care! Kurt

Dr Aaby is a fantastic person & dentist. She is honest about treatment. Explains everything perfectly. She has been my families dentist for over 20 years. It is always a joyful experience ( we have the same sense of humor). She is awesome!

my daughter made an appointment with Dr. Aaby today 7-6-20. she was told she would be dropped as a patient if she cancelled any more appointments. She has bad IBS so she isn't always able to make her appointments and has to reschedule. I dropped Dr. Aaby a long time ago because of fillings and crowns falling out. My daughter should have dropped her a couple years ago when she was almost put under for a procedure she didn't need, because she was mixed up with another patient. Dr. aaby made a joke about it like it was no big deal. So Dr. Aaby, you don't need to drop my daughter, because she drops you.
