Dr. Angelica Silivria began her life in Russia, then moved to the United States in 2001. After working for a local dentist, she felt drawn to a career as a dentist. She completed a biological sciences degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, her dentistry doctorate at NYU College of Dentistry and a residency at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Angie is an exceptional dentist: thorough and kind. Her office staff, particularly Elizabeth, are outstanding. Elizabeth cleaned my teeth like no one ever has before. She then did a zoom whitening that exceeded my expectations. She was gentle and attentive and detailed. I highly recommend this practice.

I went in last week for a routine cleaning, which was the first time I'd been in since the pandemic started. The office is completely up to date on all protocols. I waited outside the building until they called me, then went straight into a chair. Efficient, friendly, extremely transparent about our dental benefit and what's covered vs a couple of minor co-pays.

For me going to the dentist is a bit different than most people. I had a traumatic experience 5 years ago that has not just affected my life but my ability to bring myself to a dentist. So recently a crown broke and I had to find a dentist..a really good one....I did my homework and came up with a few in NYC...By fate or luck I ended up in Dr. Angelica Silivria chair. I come from a family in healthcare. Almost everyone in my immediate family is a surgeon, pharmacists, clinician, scientist or MD of some sort. From a young age, I have been taught to inquire about any medical procedure being performed on me in painstaking details. Before meeting Dr Silivria , I met and rejected 3 dentist who were unable to demonstrate their knowledge to me sufficiently. One of them is a Fifth Avenue celebrity dentist who has a 6 month waiting list and charged me full price(no insurance accepted) Still not good enough. I do not care about a fancy office or equipment, if the knowledge and technique is lacking. When I met Dr. Silivria for a consultation, not only was she extremely knowledgeable, she patiently tolerated my barrage of questions, answering calmly and precisely. It was clear to me from that moment if I ever became anxious in the chair during a procedure, she would provide the serenity I needed. Dr. Silivria took a great conservative approach to my cavities and fillings and when I ended up requiring a root canal, with crown lengthening surgery, her staff squeezed me in for a quick checkup and referred me quickly to an periodontist for my surgery, and ensured my X-rays were sent over before I arrived to their office. She is attentive, friendly, and very efficient. She answers all of my questions before and after any appointment, and I find her to be incredibly knowledgeable. Dr. Silivria sets herself apart from other NYC dentists by providing personalized and compassionate dental care. Her NYC dental office is staffed with highly trained dental care professionals. Her office has also taken every precaution since COVID-19, highly recommended.

Dr. Silivria is thorough and professional. I've been treated by her a number of times now and am completely satisfied with her work. Dr. Silivria and her staff are polite and friendly, making the visit always seem pleasant. I'm glad to have found Dr. Silivria who has excellent dexterity in her hands, and the welcomed experience. I am TERRIFIED of going to the dentist, but Riverside Dental is different. Dr. Angelica Silivria is the best dentist ever. If there were Oscars for dentists, she deserves them all.

Wonderful dentist and staff. The dental assistant was very gentle in taking x-rays and seemed concerned about making sure I was not experiencing discomfort. The dentist was honest in evaluating my teeth and made a referral to a specialist when she felt something was outside of her area. The front desk staff was also helpful in getting me copies of my X-rays. I would recommend this practice. I am adding to this review in light of follow-up information. I visited a specialist following this visit and Dr. Silivria's hypothesis about what was going on with one of my teeth was correct. I think she has great skill and knowledge as a dentist.

Dr. Silveria has been in practice for 10 yrs. Her current office is excellently sanitized for pt.. safety and is well located near bus stops for the M72 and M57 lines. It is also located across the street from a CVS Drug store on West End Ave. and near shops and cafes on 72nd street. I was pleased with my dental cleaning and DR. Sylveria desensitizes the gum before what was a painless injection. If needed, she does root canals ,avoiding referrals elsewhere.She answers questions easily and clearly and explains the necesssity for procedures. Her staff is friendly and her rates seem standard .
