Believing a strong partnership with dental specialists produces the best result in dental treatment, Dr. Ott often collaborates with orthodontists, oral surgeons and other specialists to achieve optimum results.
David R. Stevens grew up in Holden, Utah. He graduated from BYU and Attended Dental School at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Following dental school, Dr. Stevens received further training at the Veterans Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
Dr Stevens has embraced living in St George by mountain biking ALL YEAR LONG! He has run just about every race you can run in southern Utah including the St George Marathon the St George Iron Man, but his favorite is the True Grit Mountain Bike Race every spring.
Dr Stevens staff say that he is a true dental nerd. He loves new dental technology, he travels all over the country to gain new dental education and is currently working on a new accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. All of this learning and constant growth means he will take care of his patients with amazing skills and care.
Wade F Stevens got tired of being the other Dr. Stevens so he has been going by Dr. Wade since shortly after joining the Riverside Dental team to practice with his brother. He even grew a beard so people could tell them apart.
He grew up in Holden, Utah. He graduated from Dixie College way before it was a University, then attended Virginia Commonwealth University for dental school. After dental school, he did a one-year residency at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City. During his residency, he attended a continuing education course with Dr. Ott and has been hooked ever since. So, if he is not at the office he is probably in Scottsdale learning more about dentistry.
He and his wife, Sarah do not have a lot of time for hobbies as they are constantly running around 5 kids from 4-13 years old. When he does want to relax he enjoys woodworking, CrossFit, (though he wont talk to you about it unless you bring it up), and escaping back to Holden to pretend he is a farmer.
Matthew Snyder grew up in Sandy, Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah and attended dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. From 2006 to 2018, Dr. Snyder had a private practice in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Snyder recently moved to St. George to join the Riverside Dental Care team. He strives to become a trusted member of the St. George community and has already dedicated over a hundred hours of volunteer work at the Doctors Volunteer Clinic and at Dixie State Universitys Dental Hygiene School.
Dr. Snyder is a passionate cyclist and has even won a few mountain bike and cyclocross races. His favorite race is the Crusher in the Tushar in beautiful Fishlake National Forest. He loves to be able to race his bike in the same mountain range where he spent time as a youth riding horses with his grandfather.
Dr. Snyder loves teeth! He travels across the country to learn from the leaders in dental education. When he is home, he loves to read dental text books and other health related books to better understand how he can help his patients live healthier lives.

I've been going here ever since I was a kid. I've never once had a bad experience. The staff are always friendly and I always feel like I'm taken care of.

Riverside Dental they're a great place to get dental work done the staff is phenomenal the nurses and doctors are great as well they make you feel right at home and the best part is they're painless I know a lot of people have a fear of going to the dentist but this place is great it doesn't feel like a dentist office at all I highly recommend Riverside Dental.

YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING. I absolutely love my teeth. They are perfect. Better than I was hoping for. I can't say enough good things about this office. Dr. Stevens is one of the coolest people I've met so far. Thanks for making coming to the dentist not suck :)

I fell and smashed my front tooth and it bent back completely out of position while in Zion National Park on vacation from New York. it was hanging down and back against my tongue. It was 5PM and my dentist from NY told me we needed to get to a dentist quickly to have him try to re-position the tooth before the nerve dies, it could not wait until the next day. We were referred to Dr. David Stevens of Riverside dental in St. George. so we drove an hour and arrived 6PM, Dr. Stevens had already finished his workday and arrived back at the office after hours. he took a look, and manipulated the tooth and was able to re-position it back to proper place in less than a minute, honestly it was like a miracle, i was so happy. then since we lips were bleeding from the fall, he fixed up my lips and stopped the bleeding and closed the cuts. He is such a great guy, made me feel better about the situation immediately and explained what i needed to look out for. I was so impressed with the practice, the people that helped me when i arrived all beat up, the service was outstanding from Lori at reception to Daly who helped with the procedure. I only wish i lived in St. George so i could make Riverside my dentist. thank you so much. David from New York

Dr. Stevens is absolutely incredible! He and his staff go above and beyond to be accommodating when I was just in town for a couple days and wanted some cosmetic work done. He is an expert and an artist and everything turned out better than I could have even imagined. I went in expecting a very expensive service and he honestly told me I didn't need that, even though it would have made him far more money. I couldn't be happier and I would recommend him to everyone!

Dr. Stevens and his team saw me for an emergency appointment two Tuesdays ago. Sure, we were right in the middle of the Covid-19 thing but my broken tooth wasn't aware of that. He and his team were incredibly welcoming, encouraging and professional, balancing all that with the warm, personal care you can only hope to experience under that best of conditions (and this wasn't one of them!) Everyone should be lucky enough to have Dr. Stevens and his team as their dentist. Oh, wait a minute, you can! I promise you will love them! This is by far the greatest, most caring dentist I have ever been too. I was in so much pain and have been for years! But this tooth was in so much pain I just cried and cried and could not do anything to get rid of the pain and it was a weekend. So I called around to so many places and no one was willing to help and then I left a message for Dr. Wade Stevens and he called me back the next day and told me to come in. He not only save the tooth that I was asking him to extract because I didn't have the money to get one replaced or to get a root canal, but he listened to me and what I had gone through for the past few years of seeing so many dentists they all told me that I either need a dentures, to get them all out one by one, that they wouldn't fill them in,etc.. I have wasted hundreds of dollars just on exams alone just to be told they would not work on my teeth or try to save them. Come to find out Dr. Stevens thinks that there are many of my teeth that can be saved and that I do not have to save up $1400 which is what I have been doing to replace each tooth at a time. As you can imagine is extremely stressful thinking of spending that much of my family's money on my teeth.I left In tears because him and his assistant were so kind and promised to help me and now I am going back next week for an exam and to put together a game plan to get the rest of my teeth fixed, which is going to save me thousands of dollars because he's willing to take the time to work on saving my teeth and not just pulling them all out and replacing them. I don't know what the reason was for the other dentist either lying to me because they wanted more money or we're just too lazy to take the time to help me but all the pain and suffering and stress I've gone through losing all my teeth at such a young age has been such a burden and now I finally feel hope and excitement thanks to Dr. Stevens and Riverside dental

Usually the worst thing about going to the dentist is that they use a needle the size of a small bus. But for the first time ever I didn't feel a thing. Thanks Doc tooth never felt better plus they called me just a check up to make sure I was doing OK. Best experience ever at a dentist office.
