Dr. Rivers is a native of Arlington, TX, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2004. Following graduation, she moved to Dallas and completed her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in 2008.
Kumi was born and raised in Okinawa, Japan. She received her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Southern University of Shreveport, Louisiana. She loves meeting new people and is passionate about making her patients as comfortable as possible while educating them on the ways they can improve their oral health.
Jessica grew up in Elgin, Texas and received her Registered Dental Assistant licence in March 2018. She married into the Aggie family in 2019 (Whoop!). Jessica says that the best part of her job is seeing a smile on a patient's face and knowing she helped put it there.
Lexi was born and raised in Houston, TX. She attended Sam Houston State University and is excited to learn something new every day. As our patient coordinator, she is passionate about creating a fun and caring environment, getting to know all our patients, and making sure they receive quality service and attention when they come in for treatment. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, painting, and spending time with friends.
Brooke grew up in Longview, TX and is now living in College Station pursuing her bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science, Gig'em! As our patient coordinator, she strives to personally make everyone feel as welcome and comfortable as possible during their visit. Along with enjoying the company of patients, she also enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, friends, and puppy, Blu.

After having MANY frightful scares & horrible experiences with dentist offices around BCS, i decided to give Rivers Family Dentistry a try. It's safe to say i found my forever dentistry home! Everyone was friendly & smiling. The dental assistant (Jessica , i think) went out of her way to make sure i was comfortable & even offered to hold my hand to ease my nerves. The hygienist , Kumi, was very patient, allowing me breaks during our session & explained everything before she did it. Dr. Rivers took the time to listen to all of my concerns & worked with me to find a treatment plan that i was most comfortable with. The front desk staff (especially Yolonda) also went out of their way to maximize my insurance plan so i saved the most money on my visits. The pricing was upfront & discussed prior to my visit & even something changed I was told immediately. I asked a million repeat questions & was never met with annoyance or frustration. I did not feel shamed for needing work done. I was educated & thanked for finally having the courage and take the necessary steps for my dental health.. I can say I'm no longer afraid to sit in a dentist chair. I'm very happy & satisfied with Dr. Rivers and her team!

My daughter (14) suffers from anxiety and she had a lot of apprehension going into her appt. We are home now and she is already saying she can't wait until her next visit and that it was like a spa day.

Dr. Rivers and her team are awesome! I have been there a few times now and they have always been super friendly and accommodating. Plus, you get to watch TV or movies while they work! :)

Everyone from reception is AMAZING. I've had severe dental anxiety and everyone here is so kind, so thoughtful, and so gentle. I highly recommend this practice to EVERYONE I can.

Peace of mind comes from taking care of the body. Healing a painful toothache with skillful understanding treating the wholeness of their patients, not just the teeth, mouth and jaw. Both my questions were welcomed and my anxieties observantly softened... My toothache has been quietened. I am very thankful to Dr. Rivers and her amazing staff.

I highly recommend Dr. Rivers and her team, especially if you have anxiety about dental appointments. Everyone at the practice is friendly, and I always feel welcomed by her hygienist and receptionists. They check in frequently to ensure you're comfortable and relaxed. Additionally, they've never made me feel ashamed or guilty about needing work done- they'll tell you about what steps to take moving forward, but they've never lectured or chided about past issues. I can honestly say that I've gone from dreading the dentist to finding the experience pleasant.

I am thankful for Rivers family dentistry! I had a dental emergency, broken front teeth from a bicycle riding accident. Dr. Rivers took GREAT care of me - even though it was after hours. She did a great job explaining everything from the full extent of the injury to the process used to correct the problem. Your in great hands with Dr. Rivers!

Friendly and professional dentist, hygienists, and front desk staff! Highly recommend, especially if you have kids. Kumi took great care cleaning my kids' teeth (3 yo and 7 yo) and was very patient and kind to them.

I can not say enough good about River's family dentistry! Today I had my first appointment. From the moment I walked in , they put me at ease. The front desk Lexi and Yolanda were so accommodating. Kumi ( the Hygienist) was super gentle! My teeth are usually sensitive during cleanings but I did not feel any pain/ sensitivity today. Dr. Rivers is very knowledgeable, kind and caring. I can tell that she goes above and beyond!! Such a great professional team. Thank you all for making my experience amazing! Definitely coming back.

1st time coming to this dentist office after moving to the area and they definitely seem to take care of you better. Cleaning was thorough and talking with Dr.Riveria was pretty straight forward. Scheduled my second appointment already!

Friendly staff. Prompt service. Provided transparent pricing of different treatment options and did not use sales pressure for unnecessary procedures. Thorough cleaning and dental examination. They also made me very comfortable and I got to enjoy some shows on Disney+ during the cleaning. Would highly recommend this dentist and her team! I'll be going back.

I was looking for an emergency appointment and Yolanda moved the whole schedule around to fit me in same day. I ended up getting an earlier appointment at a different place since I needed help right away but she really went above and beyond to try to help me. They really seem to care about their patients!
