Dr. Lapiad was born in Camarillo and raised in Oxnard, where her family still resides. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine and obtained dual bachelors degrees in Biochemistry and in Chemistry. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry with high academic and clinical merit. At UCLA, she received various dental awards and scholarships including the Excellence in Clinical Fixed Prosthodontics, which is an award for excellent crown and bridge dental work in the dental clinic. She also became a member of the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, which only accepts the top of the dental school class. She then completed a competitive one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) Program at the VA Long Beach Medical Centers Dental Clinic, where she had the privilege of providing dental care to military veterans while receiving advanced dental training in implant placement, extractions, root canals, complex comprehensive dental treatment, and dealing with complex medical issues in regard to dental treatment. She has extensive experience working as a dentist in the Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties.

She is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Santa Barbara Ventura County Dental Society (SBVCDS), and the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce. She continually takes continuing education courses throughout the year to hone her professional skills as a dentist. She is also very honored to serve underserved patients as a volunteer dentist at various free dental clinic events held by the CDA throughout the year as well as participate in various community charitable events and fundraisers.

She offers a wide range of services such as prevention, dental fillings, crowns, bridges, cosmetic dentistry, tooth bonding, veneers, dental implant placement surgery, implant crown restorations, root canals, extractions, partial and complete dentures, dentures over implants, periodontal (gum) treatment, laser dental therapy, teeth whitening, pediatric dentistry, and invisible braces such as Invisalign.

Being from the area, she has seen how Ventura County has improved over the years and is thrilled to lend her skills to the place that she has always called home. She loves being a dentist because it merges her desire to help others, nurtures her artistic nature by creating beautiful smiles, and incorporates her strong scientific background. Seeing the wonderful results in patients healthy smiles is extremely rewarding. Patients are drawn to her warm, friendly demeanor and cheerful, down-to-earth attitude. Patients especially love that she has small hands that provide a gentle, caring touch. She enjoys taking care of patients of all ages.

In her spare time, she enjoys exercising especially running, practicing yoga and pilates, and strength training, traveling, listening to audiobooks, watching TV shows and movies, and spending time with friends and family, especially with her husband, Leif, who is a teacher, and their three daughters.

Dr. Moghimi was born and raised in Fremont, CA. She graduated from the University of California, Davis where she obtained a B.S. in Biological Sciences, with an emphasis in Molecular Biology. Her dental education took her to Utah where she obtained her D.M.D. from Roseman University of Health Sciences in 2016. Upon graduation she completed a one year General Practice Residency at Community Regional Medical Center and the VA hospital in Fresno. She gained a well rounded experience in general dentistry including: working with special needs patients, medically complex patients, surgical procedures, pediatric dentistry, extensive crown and bridge, and a variety of removable prosthodontic cases.

Dr.Moghimi relocated to Ventura County in 2017 and is proud to serve the incredibly diverse and amazing population here. She enjoys enriching her patients lives through both preventative and urgent care. Seeing patients believe in their smiles is what she strives for!

Dr. Pham was born on the East Coast, but grew up in Northern California. He moved to Los Angeles for school and graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors of Science degree in Bioengineering. After moving home for a few years, he decided to return to UCLA to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. At the UCLA School of Dentistry, he earned various scholarships, awards and high honors, including the Academy of General Dentistry award, given to the student exhibiting the greatest interest, knowledge, and proficiency in the field of general dentistry. He then went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics in Santa Barbara where he was able to serve people from all different ages and backgrounds and received advanced training in all aspects of dentistry, with emphasis on complex and comprehensive treatment planning, root canal therapy, fixed and removable prosthodontics.

In his free time, Dr. Pham enjoys visiting amusement parks, attending music concerts, watching movies at the theater and traveling. He enjoys exploring nearby cities and loves to try out new restaurants and cuisines. As an avid sports fan, he will always root for his hometown Bay Area teams: the Golden State Warriors, the Las Vegas (Oakland!) Raiders, the Oakland Athletics and San Jose Sharks.

Patients enjoy his calm, welcoming, gregarious and down to earth personality. Dr. Pham strives to provide exceptional comprehensive care that is catered to each patients individual concerns, needs and desires.

Star has been in the dental field since 1991 as a dental front office administrator. She has been married for 17 years with two daughters. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She loves giving back to the community by volunteering and raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by participating in various marathons.

Leif is Dr. Lapiads husband, who is a full-time school teacher and helps run his wifes dental practice part-time. He loves travelling, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family especially with their 3 daughters. He enjoys staying active by being involved with Israeli martial arts and playing and watching sports, especially football, basketball, baseball, and golf.

Pureza is our full-time registered dental assistant and has been in the dental field since 1995. She still enjoys growing and moving forward in the field of dentistry. She has a passion to help patients with their dental needs as well as helping create beautiful smiles. She has three children that keep her busy most weekends juggling their extracurricular activities. They love the outdoors, so they enjoy going camping, hiking and going to the beach. In her spare time she enjoys cooking healthy meals, reading, exercising, listening to music and spending quality time with her family.

Liz is our full-time Dental Assistant and is currently working on becoming certified as a Registered Dental Assistant. She has been in the dental field for over 15 years. Her joy comes from helping patients with their smiles. She is continually learning by attending dental education courses so she can better serve the patients needs. She is a proud mom of seven and enjoys doing spontaneous things with her children. Their favorite things to do are camping, going to the beach, and long drives. She herself enjoys cooking, dancing, and just being adventurous.

Meghan is our part-time registered dental hygienist. She was born and raised in Oxnard. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Health Promotion and Disease Prevention degree and went on to study Dental Hygiene at West LA College. She enjoys helping our patients attain a healthy smile that they are comfortable and confident with. In most of her spare time, she enjoys tending to her passions of cooking and baking. She also loves traveling, running, and spending time with family and friends.
