Dr. George Hathaway grew up in Neenah and attended Neenah High School, St Olaf College and Marquette School of Dentistry. After dental school he served as a dentist and officer in the US Navy for four years and attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander. After discharge from the Navy, Dr. Hathaway practiced in Neenah for two years and then moved to Wisconsin Rapids where he assumed the practice of Dr. James Lownik. Dr. Hathaway currently lives on a hobby farm with his two daughters, Hannah and Sophie and their Wirehaired Pointing Griffin, Violet. Every Fall, Dr. Hathaway enters the pumpkin growing contest. His quest to grow a thousand pound pumpkin never ends, much to the chagrin of his daughters.

Along with his assistant Julie and his hygienist Tami, Dr. Hathaway welcomes Lori and Jenny as new members of their team. Lori and Jenny are joining Dr. Hathaway, coming to us from Dr. Randall Wood's office, and we are looking forward to meeting many new friendly faces. Dr. Hathaway look forward to helping you and your family with all of your dental concerns.

Dr. McDonald is a graduate of Lincoln High School and a Wisconsin Rapids native. She has experieinced living in La Crosse, WI, Buffalo, NY and Minneapolis, MN throughout her education. Each new city brought an exciting new experience and adventures but, she is thrilled to return to her home town once again.

Dr. McDonald enjoys the variety that general dentistry has to offer from preventative care, fillings, crowns, implants, dentures, root canals and extractions. The most rewarding part of her practice is her relationship with patients. It's important to her to take the time to get to know patients well and help make them as comfortable as possible. She has experience with kids of all ages and adults as well as patients with dental anxiety. Continuing eduation is very important to Dr. McDonald. She is excited to bring new ideas and techniques into her practice as well as consult her colleagues on challenging cases.

Cindy is local to the area. She has 30 years of experience as a dental assistant. Her favorite part of dental assisting is helping people understand the importance of oral health and recommended procedures. She enjoys spending time with her close family, two dogs, two cats and friends.

Laura joined Dr. McDonald's team in 2016 when she started her career as a dental assistant. She feels privileged to work with such a great team that strives to give the best care to our patients. Our patients are the greatest and she enjoys getting to know each and everyone of them.

Laura is from Nekoosa, but is now currently living in Wisconsin Rapids with her husband, Naul. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and going to the movies. In her free time, Laura likes to bake/cook, travel and go shopping.

Amanda graduated from North Central Technical College in 2009 and after 3 years of working as a hygienist, she finally found her 'home' with Riverhill Dental in 2012. Amanda is thankful for her career in dental hygiene and finds her job to be very rewarding.

While she does love her job, when Amanda's not at work most of her free time is spent having fun with her loving husband, two amazing children and two dogs. They enjoy camping, anything outdoors and watching the Green Bay Packers of course!

Andrea joined our practice in November 2019. She started her dental career as an assistant in 1994. She graduated from North Central Technical College in 2012 to advance her dental career as a hygienist. She is happy to find a place to call home and work with caring team members. She grew up here in Central Wisconsin and has lived in Wisconsin Rapids since 1995.

While her passion about the dental world and educating patients about how to best aid in their own oral health, Andrea has plenty of interest in her spare time. She enjoys playing games with friends and family including her husband, Patrick and daughter, America. There is also a love of baking and decorating cookies that has deep ties to family history and tradition.

Tanya was born in Minnesota and relocated to Wisconsin Rapids, WI in 1989 following a 3 year stay with her parents, on the small island of Saipan in the Mariana Islands. She graduated Lincoln High School and started her college career at UW-La Crosse. She transferred and completed her first Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from the College of St. Catherine in Minneapolis. Tanya's first job was in Texas, where following a back injury, she moved home and started a new venture in the dental field. Tanya completed her Dental Hygiene degree at North Central in Wausau and is continuing to work toward her masters in Dental Hygiene.

Tanya is a Polynesian dancer since she was 7, plays guitar and loves to sing. In addition to her many talents, she is also a volunteer EMT Basic on the Rudolph Volunteer Fire Department. Tanya has a daughter , a wonderful step-son, 5 grandchildren, two horses, three cats and a great husband.

She is living proof that your first career choice may not be the passionate path you were destined to take. Tanya has found her true passion and she loves it! She looks forward to making a healthy difference everyday for all those she has the privilege to provide care for.
