Dr. Hays is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. After receiving his D.D.S. in 1975, Dr. Hays received his Post Doctorate training in the United States Army Dental Corps. Following his tour of duty in Europe, he returned to Columbus in 1979 and began practicing at Riverglen Dental Group. Dr. Hays has lived in the Columbus area and has three grown sons, Lee, Rob and Michael. His sons, their wives and six grandchildren all reside in Ohio. Dr. Hays has practiced general dentistry in Worthington and taught restorative and prosthetic dentistry at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He retired from teaching at the university in 2012. He is accomplished at providing improved function and appearance using crowns, bridges, implant supported restorations, as well as complete and removal partial dentures.
Dr. Folk is a graduate of Miami University and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He received his D.D.S. in 1986. After graduation, Dr. Folk also taught at The OSU College of Dentistry, in addition to starting his practice at Riverglen. Dr. Folk has since devoted full time to general dentistry in Worthington, and has been at Riverglen Dental Group for 30 years. He enjoys providing dental care for patients from toddlers to seniors. Dr. Folk and his wife Cathy reside in Powell and have been active in the community, from youth sports and charities, and neighborhood organizations. They have three adult children, Gretchen, John and Sarah, a son-in-law and two grandsons. Dr. and Mrs. Folk enjoy music and outdoor sports and activities.
Carrie has been in dentistry since 1994, joining Riverglen Dental (and her husband, Jeremy, there in 2013). She began as a dental assistant, then learned the front desk duties and, in 2020, became Office Manager after Michelles retirement. Shes spent the majority of her life in central Ohio near family, but also lived in Michigan for 9 years, returning to Ohio in 2005. She enjoys time with her 2 children, family and friends, reading and traveling.
Jean joined Riverglen Dental Group in 2014. A native of Indiana she received her Dental Assisting Certification from Indiana University at South Bend in 1980 and has worked in the dental field since then. Jean and her husband are happy to call Columbus home and when she isnt in the office enjoying her dental family and coworkers, she loves traveling, outdoor activities, cheering for the Buckeyes and spending time with her family.
Julie joined Riverglen in February of 2020. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from Ohio University in 1995 with a degree in Biological Sciences. Julie feels most blessed to have had the pleasure of being a stay-at-home mom to her 2 beautiful daughters. When not at work she enjoys walking her 2 rottweilers, running, working out, drinking red wine, and spending time with her family and friends.
Marion has been with Riverglen Dental since 1998 . She has 3 grown children, 7 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She says our staff is like a family and our patients are our friends. Working with Dr. Hays is the best part of her job.
Tana grew up in Cincinnati and graduated with a BS degree from Ohio University. She has enjoyed working for Riverglen since 2018. Hobbies include traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Heather grew up in Columbus and graduated with a bachelors in dental hygiene from The Ohio State University in 2000. She has worked for Riverglen Dental Group since 2001. Hobbies include reading and watching football with her husband and her 2 kids.
Wendy grew up in Columbus. She graduated from The Ohio State University dental hygiene program in 1981, and received her bachelors degree in education in 1983. She has been with Riverglen Dental Group ever since. Her hobbies are swimming, walking and watching baseball.
Lisa grew up in Northeastern Ohio and graduated from Youngstown State University. She moved to Southern California in 1984 and practiced there for 10 years. When all the sun, sand and traffic got to be too much, she relocated to Central Ohio. She has resided in the Columbus area since 1994. Lisa lives near Blendon Woods Park and enjoys reading, cooking and planning craft projects she never gets around to doing.
Jeremy received his B.A. and M.A. degree from New Mexico State, A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene from Columbus State and MPH from Ohio State. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years and joined Riverglen in 2007. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, gardening, running, working out and collecting vinyl records.

Dr. Hays is professional, thorough and always pleasant. He explains options, and suggests what might come next. The staff is amazing - responsive, accommodating and friendly.

Dr Hays is a great dentist. The office has excellent COVID-19 protocols in place and insure the safety of the patients and staff. Dr Hays has been my dentist for twenty years and has given me great care. I highly recommend Riverglen Dental. They treat you like family!

Dr. Hays took a look said yes, he could help me with both teeth. I had two shots of novacaine in my gums just below my nose which made me a little nervous. I didn't feel a thing. When Dr. Hays started drilling the old porcelain off it hit the nerve a couple times and I didn't want to complain. It must have been obvious because he immediately stopped and did a third shot. Piece of cake. Only an hour and some change later? My two front teeth are amazing. I'm gonna be a smiling fool! All kidding aside, Dr. Hays is a consummate professional, a true artist and as someone who has had a lifelong fear of dentists - he is absolutely the best.

I went to Dr. Hays for a second opinion. I broke a back molar and the dentist I first went to said they couldn't save my tooth and gave me lots of options - like an implant or bridge... Dr Hays rebuilt my tooth and sent me on my way to later crown the tooth. I am very thankful not to loose my tooth!!

I've had pretty mediocre experiences with other dentist offices because their rooms are often cold and feel claustrophobic. This is the best place I've found and been coming here for 5 years now. Has easy parking, clean, flexible hours, and friendly staff. The place is sort like an open concept layout with dental "corridors" that have big windows that overlooking the olentangy river trail, which is really soothing. Dr. Folk is gentle and my hygenist, Heather, is always positive. I've referred a number of my friends to this place and they've been happy too. I suppose it was time I placed a review as well.

Everyone is always so pleasant and friendly. I had the same Dentist for 20+ years. A few years ago I had a dental emergency. My Dentist happened to be closed that week for vacation. I was referred to Riverglen by that Dentist. Well I have not been back to to my old Dental group ever since.

I have had Dr. Folk as my dentist for probably 25+ years now. He and all of the staff are great. Not too many people look forward to going to the dentist but I have to say, they always make the experience a pleasant one. Great job to the entire staff and thank you SO much for the positive experience I always have when I am there.
