Dr. Eyal Simchi is living proof of someone who lives life by example. His excellent craftsmanship and work ethic came at an early age from his father, a custom cabinet maker. His demeanor and love of children comes from his mother, an elementary school teacher who never fails to bring a smile to the faces of her students.
Dr. Simchi attended UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School where he was elected to serve on the ethics committee. He maintained Deans List throughout his 4 years of dental school and received the Award of Merit from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He was selected to join the NJDS Gold Club, as well as Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontics Honor Society. Although Dr. Simchi excelled in prosthodontics, a childhood full of brothers and sisters established his true passion: pediatric dentistry. Dr. Simchi went on to complete a two-year pediatric dental residency training program at Maimonides Medical Center. He then continued to advance his specialization by becoming Board Certified.
Dr. Simchi continues advancing his knowledge in Pediatric Dentistry with continuing education classes, incorporating the latest technology and techniques from all over the world. Dr. Simchi is a noted expert on HealthTap.com and lectures on different topics related to Pediatric Dentistry. He was recently featured in the NY Times article on his use of Silver Diamine Fluoride. From a waiting room filled with activities and exciting aquatic-themed dcor to his awesome magic tricks, Dr. Simchi has the unique ability to make each child look forward to going to the dentist.
Residing in Passiac, New Jersey with 6 wonderful children and his wife Rochie, who is a certified Labor and Delivery nurse, Dr. Simchis heart for children beats strong. Nurturing children isnt simply what he does: its who he is!
As a young adult, Dr. Cohen always had a passion and love for children. As a senior in high school, she spearheaded an outreach program at an underserved boarding school in Moscow, Russia, serving as a mentor and teacher for the children. For three summers, Dr. Cohen volunteered at Camp Chai Lifeline, a camp for children with cancer and other terminal illnesses, handling their medical and emotional needs. Upon graduating high school, she studied in Israel for a year where she became certified as a medical clown. In that capacity, Dr. Cohen spent countless days on the hospital wards cheering up sick children with artful balloon-making and enchanting magic tricks. A devoted wife, mother and community role model, this dedicated pediatric dentist extends her warm, open heart and love of humanity to her adoring patients.
Dr. Cohen maintained a stellar academic record, achieving the Deans List throughout her studies at the College of Staten Island. After graduating summa cum laude from college in 2010, she attended New York University College of Dentistry, where she conducted research on the quality of life of children with cleft lip and cleft palate. She is a contributor to the periodontics chapter in one of the classic dental textbooks, Comprehensive Periodontics, 4th Edition.
In her senior year of dental school, Dr. Cohen was nominated to the Pediatric Honors Program. In addition, she volunteered in a pediatric dental outreach program in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she transformed an ordinary classroom into a functional dental clinic. In conjunction with her team, she screened and performed necessary dental treatment on hundreds of underprivileged children. Dr. Cohen graduated NYU Dental in 2014 with the coveted American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Pre-Doctoral Award.
After dental school, she completed a two-year pediatric residency program at NYU Lutheran Medical Center. Upon completing her residency program, she received the Dr. Silvia Perez Award in recognition of her dedication and outstanding performance in treating pediatric patients in the operating room.
Dr. Cohen is a board certified pediatric dentist and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association. She and her husband Jonathan live in Staten Island with two young sons. In her spare time, she loves spending quality time with family and friends.
Dr. Reham Hassan was born and raised in New York, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Macaulay Honors College, College of Staten Island. She went on to study dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry, where she was awarded an outstanding score in Clinical Communications.
Always looking to enhance her skills, Dr. Hassan completed residency in general dentistry at Northwell Health Staten Island University Hospital, where she served as chief resident. As chief, she realized her love for pediatric dentistry and went on to complete her two year speciality training in pediatrics, where she was again elected and served as chief resident. Her achievements continued, being awarded women in medicine, top pediatric dentist, shortly after completing her speciality training.
It comes as no surprise that Dr. Hassan has dedicated her career to serving children, as she grew up in a full house amongst her parents and two brothers and two sisters. Her family continued to grow with several nieces and nephews always running to Aunt Ham, and now hoping to start a family of her own. Not only does Dr. Hassan love spending time with her family, but she enjoys traveling with her husband. She has even spent time traveling abroad to serve on global outreach teams in Mexico and travels locally to schools, providing dental services for underserved children.
With enthusiasm, compassion, and patience, Dr. Hassan cares for every child encouraging bright smiles and happy, healthy living. She cares to manage each child with the goal to relinquish any fear of visiting the dentist and replace it with smiles!
Dr. Sutton received both her bachelors and dental degrees from New York University and completed her residency at New-York Hospital Queens. Since completing residency in 2015, she has been practicing dentistry and served as a clinical assistant professor at Touro College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Sutton is always staying up to date with the latest dental innovations and constantly looking to expand her knowledge with continuing education courses.

Amazing experience. Dr Cohen and all the staffs are the best! Dr Cohen is an Angel sent from above literally! Professional, detail oriented and very patient. We appreciate it so much that she even called personally after office hours to check on my daughter too, making sure she's fine. They made everything fun , fast and painless. My daughter loves them and and their magic tricks that she told her friends and our family her wonderful dental experience right away. Excellent! This is a real magic team is working for kids. My daughter is too touchy person, didn't like dentist before, but the dentist and assistants do everything for calm her, make her laugh and happy! I'm very grateful!

My son's first time to the dentist and the hygienist and Dr Cohen was so patient and nice to him! He does not like to brush his teeth, so this was not expected to be easy but they were so patient and understanding! Made my 6 year old daughter comfortable to sit all on her own! Love this dentist! P.S. they also see adults now!

Dr.Simchi and all the dentists in his practice are the best IN THE WORLD! They have endless patience and my kids (who aren't easy at the dentist) love going to his office - even after having cavities filled! We love the magic tricks and all the prizes! I brought my son to Dr. Cohen. If I could give 100 stars I would! She was so kind, patient, gentle, and funny. I thought I would have to get my "challenging" son sedated, but Dr Cohen was able to keep him calm and worked with him and his anxious behaviors to get the job done - including 4 fillings!. He is convinced that he's her favorite patient and is excited to come back for his cleaning in 6 months. I am so so grateful to Dr Cohen and all of the staff members at Riverfront for making the dentist experience such a positive one!

We had a wonderful experience with both Dr. Simchi and Dr. Cohen. These pediatric dentists have a special gift in addition to their magic tricks. The dental hygienists in this office are phenomenal as well. As a parent, I appreciate being invited to have an open discussion about any decisions that needed to be made and also appreciate how willing they are to work within the realm of my dental insurance. I will be recommending this office to my friends and family.

I am blown away at Dr Simchi's patience, expertise, love for each child and professionalism! I was initially hesitant to travel so far being that I live in Toms River, however, this is the first dentist my son has seen that he built such a positive relationship with. He had 2 fillings done today without one tear! This is all due to the incredible Dr Simchi himself as well as his patient, upbeat and professional staff. I will only be using Dr Simchi for my children moving forward. Keep doing what you're doing! It is so appreciated!

This was an amazing experience for us. Dr Simchi is the best!!! Not only is he an incredible dentist, but he is so patient, kind, and honest. The office is so kid friendly and the staff is all great! There are murals of sea life on all the walls that look so real and games and videos to distract the kids. Dr Simchi also did some really unbelievable magic tricks that even had me stumped. All in all, it didn't even feel like we were at the dentist. My son's tooth was fixed super quick and pain free. I would highly recommend this office to everyone!

Dr. Simchi is highly skilled and has a knack for working with kids. He and his entire staff spend time and effort to distract them and make their dental experience fun. My kids, who have had past traumatic dental visits, LOVE coming to Dr. Simchi's office and don't want to leave! If one of my kids has an appointment, the others beg to come along. The bright and cheery waiting room is filled with fun things to do and the staff is really helpful and caring. We love coming here and recommend Dr. Simchi very highly!

Dr. Simchi, Dr. Cohen, the hygenists and all the staff are fabulous. My kids were so at ease despite all the dental work they needed. The dentists are so friendly and fun and explained everything they were doing. I highly recommend this office! Five stars all around.

My son was hating seeing a dentist till we visit doctor Simchi office he is a great dentist know what he doing and how to deal with kids he using magic tricks which made my son loves him so much and keep asking when I will see doctor Semchi again ... also he always caring about what is better for his patients.. everyone in this place are friendly and caring for their patients.
