Lisa, CDA Office ManagerLisa started working at our practice in 1991. She started out part time in the front office and became the full-time certified dental assistant, which is a position she held for most of her career. She received her fellowship, one of 203 in the USA. She is currently the office manager. Lisa is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers and a board member of the Connecticut Dental Assistant Association. She has served several terms as treasurer for her church. Lisa enjoys working at our office because everyone has an important role in the practice and our staff works together as a team. She enjoys working with people, and she works hard to help our patients feel welcome and build lasting relationships with them.
Randy Registered Dental HygienistRandy joined the Rivereast Dental Group team in early 2017. He attended the University of New Haven, where he was elected as Class President, and was also a member of the Signa Phi Alpha Honor Society and was a Dental Hygiene Peer Tutor.Randy is a well-rounded clinician, and he is eager to provide exceptional dental treatment to his patients while providing a comfortable environment. He enjoys being part of a friendly and knowledgeable team that also treats their patients like family. Randy and his wife, Nancy, have three children, Cameron, Cali and Charlee. In his free time, Randy enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family.
Cara Dental HygienistCara has been a part of our team since May 2017. She earned her bachelors degree in dental hygiene from the University of New Haven in 2016 and is certified in local anesthesia. At our office, she helps patients understand the importance of good home care and oral health and enjoys meeting our patients and being a part of a team.Cara lives with her fianc, two cats and a dog. When she is not at work she looks forward to fishing, hiking and running with her dog.
Audrey Registered Dental HygienistAudrey joined our team at Rivereast Dental Group in December 2017, but she has been in the dental field for several years. Before becoming a dental hygienist, Audrey worked as a dental assistant for 4 years. She then graduated from Tunxis Community College in 2016 as a dental hygienist, and received her certification in local anesthesia. Audrey also likes to participate in Mission of Mercys free dental clinic every year. She has also completed two dental mission trips to provide free dental care to those in Honduras and on the Navajo Nation in Monument Valley, Utah.As a recent college graduate, Audrey is up-to-date on the latest technology and products that can help patients improve their oral health. Audrey loves what she does, especially the opportunities she has to care for others and help them feel comfortable while improving their oral health. To her, the best part of her job is the rewarding feeling of helping others love their smile.Audrey is very close to her parents and three brothers. She also has two beautiful Collies. When she is not at work, Audreys favorite place to be is Outer Banks, NC. She loves spending time with family and friends, and playing sports.
Kristen ReceptionistKristen joined our office in 2018 and for her, the best part of her job is her team members. At home she lives with her husband, Joe, her three boys Joey, Danny and Tommy, and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and knitting.

This is the only dentist that I enjoyed going to in my hole life. Everyone is authentically nice and the whole Experience was outstanding. highly recommend

I am relatively new to the area, and state, so I didnt even know where to start looking! They did great booking my appointment and even called to schedule sooner when there was a cancellation. The hygienist was amazing - answered all my questions, was very gentle during the cleaning - which I was very nervous about because of my sensitivity to temperatures. Got a nice little goodie bag on my way out too! Can't believe I'm saying this but I look forward to going back for my next cleaning!

As always, the entire experience at Rivereast Dental was great! Caring and skilled professionals. No "dental care anxiety" here. Even the waiting room is comfortable with tv, etc. Office manager Lisa is very knowledgeable of all insurance plans and even "check-out" is a breeze. And... every room has big windows and a great view of many bird feeders and lots of happy birds. All leading to happy dental patients. There are many dental offices closer to my home, but I'll continue to go to Marlborough.

They're very good, very polite, and very kind. Their service is top notch. Unfortunately, their prices seem a tad steep for those without insurance. They do offer a membership plan for ~$250+ a year that covers x-rays and cleanings, and other items, but not fillings. I used to get a 15% discount from Dr. Prignano when he ran the practice, but unfortunately, that wasn't extended to me under the new ownership. Nevertheless, you get what you pay for and the quality and service are both excellent, and I feel that they did some extra work at my last visit without charging, so perhaps it all washes out in the end. I do highly recommend them.

I have been coming to this practice my entire life and still won't change even when I moved 40 minutes away! Dr. Doran is really funny and easy going which makes getting dental work never as bad as it could be. The hygienists are always very friendly and do a great job, and Lisa is always accommodating and just plain awesome! The office is clean, quiet and calming, and also in a super convenient location right off of Route 2. I will always recommend Rivereast Dental Group!
