It is with mixed emotions that we are informing you of our retirement from the practice of dentistry. Due to the current health situation that took us all by surprise, we have not been able to slowly phase out the way we had anticipated. We would like to have said goodbye to each one of you personally, but COVID-19 made that impossible.
Dr. Eric is an experienced and excellent clinician. He brings with him years of private practice experience from his White Plains office. He was also a clinical assistant professor at NYU College of Dentistry, focusing on implant dentistry and comprehensive care. He has proven to be a tremendous asset to our patients and will continue to provide you with the highest quality of care that you have come to expect.
We are excited to be able to introduce Dr. Eric Poznyansky to you. Dr. Eric is a great addition to Riverdale Dental P.C., possessing the highest qualifications and bringing over 15 years of experience in private practice to our office. Dr. Eric, who is a 2004 graduate of New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry, was an active faculty member at NYU College of Dentistry as well as a clinical assistant professor at NYU College of Dentistrys advanced Programs for International Dentists. These programs teach practicing dentists all over the world basic and advanced surgical and prosthodontic techniques of implant dentistry.
We anticipate extending our days and hours to better accommodate you and your friends whom you have so graciously referred to our office. I hope you will join us in welcoming Dr. Eric to our practice. We are confident that he will be a great benefit to all of our patients. Dr. Kotick graduated from SUNY at the Buffalo School of Dentistry in 1977. He completed a residency at Hackensack Medical Center in NJ. He has been performing implant surgery since 1983 and holds a fellowship degree in implantology. For the past 15 years he has been a full-time faculty member at the NYU College of Dentistry as a clinical assistant professor in the advanced program for comprehensive dentistry.
Dr. Kotick has been a member of the local first aid squad in Marlboro, New Jersey, as an EMT for the past 14 years. He is an active instructor for CPR training for the American Heart Association and has over 40 years of experience in private practice dentistry.
Dr. Amir Saadati earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. He went on to successfully complete his General Practice Residency at Woodhull Medical Center and later completed his advanced education specialty training in endodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. Throughout his career, Dr. Saadati has had an affinity for teaching and community involvement. He taught endodontics at NYU and participated in outreach programs to underprivileged communities.
Dr. Kim received her Bachelor of Arts/Doctor of Dental Surgery (BA/DDS) in a 7-year joint program at New York University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she pursued her Certificate in Periodontology at Harvard school of Dental Medicine, where she also received her Master of Medical Science (MMSc) in oral biology. Dr. Kims research focused on quantitative analysis of volumetric change after two soft tissue grafting procedures and she presented at the Ivy Symposium on periodontal regeneration infrabony defects.
Dr. Kim enjoys traveling and exploring different foods and cultures, spending time with her friends and family, and playing sports such as basketball, soccer, softball and snowboarding. She also likes to give back to the community, participated in the Global Outreach in Grenada and served as the Director of Community Service in the NYU Aesthetic Society as a dental student.
Samar is a true believer that an individuals oral health and overall health are linked. She is passionate about helping her patients better understand oral hygiene and providing the tools necessary to take charge of their oral health, which will inherently help their overall health. She provides patient education to raise awareness about disease prevention and treatment. This philosophy and commitment to patient care is what drove her into the dental hygiene field. She enjoys meeting new people each day and listening to their needs, both as a person and as a patient. She loves putting the patient at ease by creating a comfortable environment where patients can relax and forget they are in the dental chair. She truly loves what she does for a living!

I am so happy I chose to come to Riverdale Dental P.C. It was all a great experience from the moment I walked in and met with Natasha, she was very kind and friendly. My cleaning was handled by Gaby, she was AMAZING!! She made me feel so at ease through the whole cleaning, it was great! And at the end Dr. Erik came in to do some extra exams and fill me in on my next steps for my next visit which was very helpful.

Just got my teeth cleaned by the most professional Hygentist I ever came across who did an excellent job on top of her excellent customer service. Who am I speakinh about "Berverly Fisher" OMG don't forget the name just ask for her and you'll see she's the definition of professional. Thank you Berverly I'll surely follow all and any recommendations you suggest even though I dislike visiting the dentist with your care I feel I'm in good hands.

Dr. Eric was phenomenal and very detail as well as informative. I am beyond pleased to have found him and his team. Cannot get enough of Summer's energetic and bright mind. So it's been a while since I been to the dentist. That's my own fault. And yeah, maybe I'm a bit shy about showing them off. So I mentioned that to the hygienist and to the dentist and they were both like please, this is a judgement free place. We just really want to take care of your teeth and figure out how to keep them healthy. That's just what I needed to hear to make me feel better and comfortable. The place is immaculately clean, so I'll definitely be back. They have their own entrance off the corner, so don't go to the building next door.

As soon as I spoke to Natasha on the phone to schedule my appointment I know I was in luck with Riverdale Dental P.C. ! I was completely attended to and knew Natasha was helping me along the way with my questions about payment and insurance. At the office, Summer took excellent care of me during the teeth cleaning and created a relaxed environment where I felt comfortable asking questions and raising some concerns. Dr. Erik finished my visit reviewing necessary next steps and friendly recommendations about taking care of my teeth and smile :) Will definitely be back!

After a couple years of neglect I decided to get my teeth back in check and a co-worker recommended me to Riverdale dental and I must say.. WOW... I'm so glad he did. Nothing short of perfection. Everything from day one has been an awesome experience that has given me my smile back. Wait time is zero to a few mins. Office is modern, well equipped. TV's to keep your mind of your dental fears. Lounge chairs to make you jealous. A staff that is well trained, caring and make every visit a comfortable one. Even Sharon at front desk is a sweetheart. Dr. Eric is truly a master at this craft. Listened to what I wanted and explained to me in detail what steps I needed to take to achieve my goal of a perfect smile again. My Hygienist, Samor made every painful treatment so relaxing and painless that I show up to every visit worry free. Natasha in billing who I assume every person fears because of the price tag that comes with fixing bad teeth...lol.. makes it go smoothly. Pricing to my surprise was affordable and Natasha handled my insurance carrier and explained all my available options with precision. One word for this office is "perfect" to sum it up.

My experience today with Summer, the dental assistant was awesome! She was kind and made me feel comfy during my X-rays and cleaning! Dr. Erik Poznyansky gave me great feedback on some dental consultations. I will definitely be back!

Listen, i dont leave positive reviews often, so this is a testament to how well this place did today. I am declaring them my official primary dental care provider. I felt so cared for. The place was clean, the people were nice. The doctor was not trying to scam me into a whole bunch of stuff I didn't really need. It was a godsend and I am looking forward to going back. I can't believe I'm saying that about a dentist!

I was a long time patient of Dr. Adler, who retired earlier this year. Beth Ann and Sharon are still there, and both are great. Since Dr. Adler retired, I have had the chance to get to know Dr. Poznyansky and his staff over the course of several visits. Dr. Poznyansky has always been professional and friendly and seems very knowledgeable. Like wise his staff have also been professional, friendly and helpful. Both Emely and Raquel have been very helpful during each visit. Natasha has also been friendly and helpful whenever we've spoken. So far I have been impressed with the practice.

Clean, friendly and high tech environment with professional team! Highly recommend this dentist to all of my friends and family. I am so afraid of dental visits but everyone there made it so easy and worry free. More work needed but no longer have same level of dental anxiety. They also had this relaxing spa like aroma and special TV on the ceiling made it great too.

It's been very hard looking for an hygienist like Samar and of course the Dr himself Dr eric they work very well . I'm happy to have been referred here ! Nothing but amazing hospitality from the beginning to the end . Thanks to Natasha for making me feel very welcomed from the very beginning of my journey she has helped me explore all my options thoroughly . Never go to this Dentist. This is the worst place you can go to. They sent you bills months after your visit ( they do not come clean and tell you right in front what you are going to be charged for) THEY ARE NOT IN NETWORK WITH CIGNA DENTAL don't let them scam you. They might want to add unnecessary services to your bill so pay attention.
