I grew up in Denver and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with degrees in biology, chemistry, and psychology. I received my dental training at the renowned University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
I returned to Colorado and practiced in Durango for several years before returning to the front range. I founded the Riverdale Dental Centre in 2003. My philosophy is centered on treating our patients with the same skill, care, and judgment I would extend to my family. I feel it is important to inform each patient honestly about the health of their mouth so they can make the best decisions to help them achieve the level of health and wellness they desire.
Dentistry has changed dramatically over the last 25 years and I have dedicated more than 2,500 hours to continuing post-graduate education in order to bring the latest and best advances in oral health care to our patients.
When out of the office, I cherish the time I spend with my wife and two children. We enjoy many outdoor activities such as fishing, water skiing, working out, distance running, golf, and snow skiing, and we feel blessed we can live in Colorado. I am currently enjoying reading Jesus Calling.
Sarah Office ManagerSarah has been in the dental field for over 20 years working as an assistant as well as front office treatment coordinator and office manager.I love seeing the difference we make in patients lives by improving their oral health and transforming their smile. She enjoys spending time with her very energetic husband and their two teenage children. Sarahs hobbies include hiking, water skiing, and snow skiing. She also enjoys studying alternative medicine and nutrition.
Jayme Patient AdministratorJaymehas been with us since May 2010. Jayme has been in the dental field for over 10 years. She can help you find a way to financially get your work done. Interacting with patients and helping them to understand their insurance benefits is my favorite part of working in the dental field.Jayme shares her life with her husband and their daughter. Jayme loves to entertain family and friends. She also enjoys cooking, singing, and being in the outdoors!
Christi Dental HygienistChristi has been a practicing Licensed Dental Hygienist for over twenty-eight years. She grew up in Lakewood, Colorado, and graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center with a bachelors degree in dental hygiene. Christi is skilled in providing all phases of dental hygiene treatment from disease assessment, prevention, and education to periodontal scaling, root planing, and maintenance. She has been described by her loyal patients as gentle but thorough. Christi is very involved in her community as well. Her favorite community activity is going into the area elementary schools to teach dental health and oral hygiene to children in their classrooms and at their Healthy Lifestyles/Health and Science Nights. Christi is married and lives in Fort Lupton with her husband and three children. I am so excited to re-join the office of Dr. Jon Bauman. Dr. Baumans quality of care is exceptional, and we share the same philosophy for consistent, personalized, optimal patient care.

This dentist is fine, but his billing department operates at an extremely poor level. For years I do not recall the billing being correct a single time. Save yourself the headache and go to other dentists who are just as good in the area that do not have these administrative issues.

Dr. Bauman is refreshingly thorough with a personally professional approach to his patients. After 3 years of his consistently evaluating my teeth, I am especially appreciative of having teeth and gums in better shape than they've ever been. ( and I am a Senior so that's saying something) His staff reflects his genuinely caring for each one's unique needs. I am thankful for all of them in that office!

Dr Bauman is the best dentist I've ever had. After having a terrible experience elsewhere, I am glad to have found a skilled, compassionate dentist. My entire family now uses Dr Bauman and I have also referred my friends. Truly 5 star service.

Riverdale Dental is quite cozy & the staffs there are really nice. They do a awesome job even when they don't have all the super fancy gadgets you see around other dentals. I highly recommend going to riverdale dental if you want to take good care of teeth!!

These people are money hungry and basically like used car salesman except with dental procedures. They find anything and everything that could be the slightest bit wrong and say you need to invest 10,000 to fix it. Don't go here if you are on a budget with dental work. They will charge the maximum to do minimum amount of work. Quite frankly I think it's all a racket and I feel like these people are taking advantage of their patients. Don't go here unless you're prepared to spend a huge amount of money for basic dental procedures you could definitely get done cheaper elsewhere. Also they charge wayyyy more than the price you agree on going into the place.

Dr. Bauman is kind, thorough and easy to talk with. At no point did I feel rushed during our conversation. Each of the staff are friendly-Sarah at the front desk made me feel welcomed as did Hailey and Brook. Although everyone is friendly, they are very professional and have the patient's health and comfort as a priority.

I've had a wonderful experience at Riverdale Dental Centre through their compassionate and effective work. I no longer have anxiety regarding the dentist because I know I'll be taken care of while in an extremely friendly and uplifting environment. Its a blessing to have found them!

Came in for an emergency tooth repair ended staying with them for two root canals and a bunch of other work. Everyone at the office is fantastic, amazing People and very knowledgeable. I've always been afraid of the dentist office but since I've started going there that fear is gone. If I could rate them higher than a 5 I would!

Everyone here is amazing! They take their time and listen. Since when do doctors actually sit down with you during your evaluation?? Or actually call you for a follow-up to see how your doing?? At Riverdale Dental he does!! I initially came in with an emergency and WOW did they take care of me!! Definitely a huge step up from my last Dentist! Love them!!
