Riverdale Comprehensive Dentistry was founded on the principle that dental patients should experience premium customer service while under their dentists care. Each of our professionals is dedicated to providing a caring and compassionate environment for our patients. Dr. Asadi received her Doctoral in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, graduating at the top of her class. She then relocated to NYC, where she received advanced training. She spent that time furthering her education in cosmetic, implant, and prosthetic dentistry. Dr. Asadi is a mother of two children and understands the special care that must be placed on treating little ones. Thats why Riverdale Comprehensive Dentistry is so effective at treating children. Our pediatric program will set your little ones mind at ease and put them on the road to optimal oral health. In her spare time, Dr. Asadi enjoys spending time with her family, biking, and traveling.
Dr. Jacob is a NYC native, being an alumna of the Bronx High School of Science , and the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter (CUNY). She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, concentrating in Community Oral Health. As a NYC native, she was delighted to return to NYC to complete post graduate general practice training at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Jacob was a chief resident, where she focused on periodontal and endodontic treatment. While Dr. Jacob is not with the Riverdale Comprehensive Dental family, she is with the US Army Reserves, serving as a Captain. She enjoys practicing hot yoga, volunteering, and dining out.
Dr. Esti Sonnenblick, originally from New Jersey, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she was invited to be part of Gamma Pi Delta, a prosthodontic honor society. She completed her residency at New York Medical College and now enjoys serving the Riverdale community, where she currently resides. Her patients oral health and comfort are her number one priority. She believes her patients should be completely involved in their dental treatment and works with them to create a treatment plan individually suited for each patient, answering any questions they may have. Cosmetic dentistry is one of her focuses and she is committed to providing each patient with a beautiful smile.
Doctor Rajabi graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry with honors in endodontics. She then moved to New York City to complete general practice residency at Columbia University/ Presbyterian Hospital where she had the opportunity to take care of extensive facial trauma cases and orofacial infections during the night on-call shifts. Dr. Rajabi then completed her endodontic residency at NYU College of Dentistry where she is currently teaching endodontics to postgraduate residents and undergraduate dental students. Dr. Rajabi is an active member of American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association and New York State Dental Association. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring the museums with her husband. In fact, she is a member of Metropolitan Museum of Art. Dr. Rajabi is very passionate about her work and believes every single patient must receive the best possible treatment.
Dr. Sabiya is specifically trained to provide dental services to all ages of children from infants to teens. As a mom, she understands parents concerns and is committed to helping children learn how to care for their teeth. She loves to spend time getting to know each patient, so your child feels that they have a friend who just happens to be their dentist.
Dr. Sabiya received her BA degree from Barnard College in 1992 with a major in Anthropology and continued her education by obtaining her dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 1996. Immediately following her dental education she obtained her specialty certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Long Island Jewish Schneiders Childrens Hospital in 1998 with an emphasis on children, special needs children and medically compromised children. In addition to private practice, Dr. Sabiya was an attending at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine from 1999 to 2008 and an active member of the dental school admissions committee from 2003-2007.

Dr. Asadi is the best. I needed a lot of work done even before I can get my teeth straightened and fixed. About a 2 year process. All through the process she made sure everything was done step by step and done correctly. I am very happy with my results. Dr Asadi is so kind and professional and her staff are all very nice and helpful.(especially Evelyn) Will continue coming back to Dr. Asadi. Highly recommend.

I had a very pleasant experience at Riverdale Comprehensive Dental. Upon entering I was greeted by Stephanie, who was very friendly, understanding and professional - even when I messed up some paperwork. The hygienist, Kelly, gave me a very in-depth cleaning. Together with Dr. Asadi, they gave me clear explanations from the beginning to the end process, as well as gave me further suggestions for maintaining my teeth between visits. Before exiting I sat with Erica for billing, who was gracious in detailing the insurance's coverage and patient responsibilities simplistically. I have been looking for a dentist office like Riverdale Comprehensive Dental for a long time and elated to find a practice that makes me feel at ease; I am definitely recommending Dr. Asadi and her team to my friends and family. The service provided at Riverdale Comprehensive Dentistry was amazing. Why? Upon arrival they got things done swiftly by communicating the step by step process of our initial visit and the staff was friendly and professional from start to the end. I was most impressed (technology) with the summary of my 14 year old teeth cleaning and the treatment plan developed within minutes of our visit; I was happy with the explanation of the patients financial responsibility and the ease by which the facility was able to accommodate follow up appt's to address the Tx. needs. I love that the facility has weekend hours available. I would highly recommend this clinic for you dental needs. My experience here was great. I had an internal bleach done here. I was scared at first but Dr. Rajabi was very patient with me and explained everything in detail. The entire department was professional and friendly. Thanks for making me feel more confident about my smile !

Very unprofessional and rude staff (Manager). They did 2 times the impression for the mouth night-guard and they couldn't get right. Also, they exaggerated the service price to charge the insurance. I noticed the lack of communication between the staff.

I am presently having.dental work at riverdale comprehensibe situated in the Century building under Dr Sahairi I am very pleased with their proffessionalism and competence their office is sparkling clean and staff very are kind and knowledgeble A big shout out to Evelyn the finance lady who is more than helpful and that is very important I am so pleased with the work i had done and very happy to have found such great dental facility locally

I've visited many dentist office and I finally found the best service. Great staff, clean office, caring people and amazing professional and quality service. I've had my dental insurance change so many time during the time I've been coming here and they have always taken care of everything and my services were never interrupted and they always made sure my insurance covered the most possible. My husband and I both come here, I highly recommend!!

I LOVE coming to this dental office! The staff is very friendly and the office is clean and modern. The hygienists always make me feel comfortable during my cleanings and work efficiently. I appreciate that they take the time to address any of my concerns. Extremely professional and skillful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new dental office to go to.

I just had a root canal from Dr. Rajabi. The whole procedure was painless from start to finish. Dr. Rajabi explained what was going to be done, answered all my questions and did the work in a careful professional manner. I appreciate Riverdale Comprehensive for taking me as an emergency when I broke a tooth. There we no dentists appointments available from the surroundings areas (Bronx, Yonkers, Uptown Manhattan). They were able to game plan as soon I came in. Thank you Riverdale Comprehensive.
