Dr. Hadi Daia was awarded hisDoctorate of Dental Surgery(D.D.S.) in 2005. After practicing general dentistry, Dr. Daia noticed a gap in the field and a lack of practitioners that look at the whole picture. There were few clinicians that understood the neuromuscular components of the teeth, jaws, head, and neck. After coming to this realization, Dr. Daia decided to take a hiatus to pursue Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ) and Orofacial Pain studies with a concentration in headaches and migraines. This concentration helped him understand how the jaws and teeth should work in harmony with the rest of the human body. Dr. Daia completed a residency at theUniversity at Buffalowhere he earned his Masters Degree in Oral Sciences in 2010.
After taking a great interest in technology and what it could offer to (TMJ) and Orofacial Pain, Dr. Daia published a book titled,Low Level Laser Therapy for Management of Temporomandibular Disorders.The book launch and the extensive research that followed fueled a new quest for Dr. Daia as he discovered how to maintain a healthy, functional musculoskeletal system while perfecting the smile. The book launch and the extensive research also provided him guidance in how to achieve healthy dentition and beautiful smiles for life. This insight led him to complete another residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at theUniversity at Buffaloin 2014. Shortly after, Dr. Daia was granted a diplomate status with theAmerican Board of Orthodontics, American Board of Orofacial Painand a fellowship status with theRoyal College of Dentists of Canada,in the speciality of Orthodontics. Dr. Daia is one of the few doctors in the world to attain this level of commitment, expertise, knowledge, and excellence in this field.
After traveling the world to expand his repertoire in finding new treatment modalities for orthognathic surgery, sleep medicine, and rare conditions like burning mouth syndrome (BMS), Dr. Daia remains committed to serving his patients and the community at large. He professionally served in several non-profit organizations including theEdmonton Regional Search & Rescue Associationin Alberta, Canada, theNiagara Frontier Search & Rescue Teamin upstate New York, &H.E.A.L. Internationalin Buffalo, New York. Dr. Daia is currently on the board of executive directors for theInternational Institute of Metropolitan Detroit and Syrian American Rescue Networkboth serving immigrants and refugees in the Metro Detroit area.

I'm a bit late in posting this review as my treatment ended in 2019, but Rivercrest is the best and always made me feel so comfortable- I miss having to go monthly! Dr. Daia was always so kind and described the plans super thoroughly. He was also very encouraging and all of the techs/assistants/hygienists who worked on me were so funny and warm. My teeth were all over the place that jaw surgery was initially recommended but my family and I were hesitant so Dr. Daia found a way to accommodate and fixed my underbite, crooked teeth and gaps, now my teeth are better than ever WITHOUT surgery! I feel so confident with my smile and I encourage anyone seeking orthodontic treatment to go to Dr. Daia's!

Very much love this practice. I've been wanting to correct my teeth/bite for years and finally decided to do it. Well, as of today I'm being fitted for my retainers and could not be happier with the end results. I now have a smile with no gaps in my top teeth or crowding on the bottom. The staff is very friendly, helpful and responsive. Dr. Daia is awesome. I had some unexpected dental work that came up near the end of my treatment. He advised me on the best way to approach the issue, which was extremely helpful. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for orthodontic treatment.

I can't begin to express how AMAZING Dr.Daia and his team are! I started going to Dr. Daia in March of 2021and drove an hour to him every 5 weeks! I came to him in hopes he could help me prep for Upper Jaw Surgery with braces, and a lockjaw issue caused by an underbite, and he excelled ! I can't thank Dr and the girls enough! I am so happy with my new smile!

Dr.dia is garbage at what he does i heard he had 3 wives <- I'm pretty sure that's illegal. He flirts with coworkers and steals patients from other businesses like a snake. He deleted my first review because he knows its true whats a poser. He should be fired immediately. And he messed up my whole family's and friends teeth he is absolutely terrible at what he does.
