Dr. Ryan L. Andersen grew up in Salt Lake City, UT, where he received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Utah. He received his Doctorate of Dentistry from Temple University, in Philadelphia, PA. Ryan served an LDS mission in El Paso, TX, for two years where he learned to speak Spanish.
Dr. Andersen strongly believes in the importance of staying current in ones profession. As a result, he regularly participates in continuing education programs to better serve you. He is committed to giving you the best treatment possible and continues working hard to help people feel comfortable during all procedures and feel a part of his cherished dental family.
He is excited to be working with the great people of the Yakima Valley. He has years of experience working on the young in age and the young at heart. He loves to get to know the kid inside of everyone.
The biggest part of Ryans life is his family. He has been blessed with a beautiful wife, Emily, three spunky and fun girls, Sage, Mila, and Hazel, and a little boy, Truman. Some of his hobbies include bike riding, hiking, restoring old furniture, and watching movies.

From the moment I walked in I felt very welcomed. The front staff, dental hygienist and dentist were warm, friendly and inviting. I felt like I was a member of their family not a patient. I'm so glad I switched!

Truly incredible experience. The office staff is so friendly, helpful, and professional, especially Kennedy. Dr. Anderson was kind and knowledgeable, he made me feel very comfortable and did not pressure me into anything. My assistant and hygienist were amazing as well. Thank you!

It's so refreshing to finally find a dentist's office that is very professional. Everyone there was welcoming and knowledgeable. No one likes to go to the dentist but Dr Hanchett and his staff made sure I was comfortable and that everything was explained clearly. I highly recommend.

The staff is very personable and listen to you! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing! My hygienist moved and I was sooo worried about who would clean my teeth! But all the staff there are great and make you feel calm!!

Super friendly and efficient staff; The two dentists, Dr. Hanchett and Dr. Anderson try to do everything possible to make your visit comfortable, and stress free. I would highly recommend anyone uncomfortable with a visit to the dentist to give them a try.

I went in today for my cleaning, which since Covid, I hadn't had done for better than 2 years. My visit went very well. Everyone at Riverbend is very nice, very thorough and very professional. They observe all necessary Covid "rules". I moved here just over 7 years and had to select a local dentist. I'm very pleased with my choice. Thank you

A very caring staff. They explain the procedure and put you at ease. I highly recommend them. Just went in today and once again Diane did a great job. Dr. Andersen made sure I was taken care of.
