Leslie Brady is the Office Manager for River Valley Smile Center and has been with Dr. Liggett for 6 years. She started in dentistry 30 years ago and fell in love with this field of healthcare and has made it a lifelong career. Leslie studied business administration, business management, and computer programming at EOSC. She has been married to Alan for 19 years and they have 6 kids (the Brady Bunch), 5 grandkids, 3 dogs and 6 horses! In her spare time, she loves spending time with the horses, camping, traveling, reading and is a big country music fan (specifically George Strait).

Mariana Ramirez is a Dental Assistant at River Valley Smile Center and has been with Dr. Liggett since joining the dental field 3+ years ago. She is a Certified Dental Assistant, and graduated with a Major in Spanish with a teaching license and minor in teaching English as a second language. She loves to read, watch movies and travel in her off time.

Shanna Douglas is a Registered Dental Assistant who has been with Dr. Liggett over 5 and a half years. She has spent 24 years in the dental field and holds an Associates Degree. She is married to her husband Billy and they have one daughter. She enjoys swimming, going to concerts and baking.

Danielle Malenshek is one of River Valley Smile Centers Registered Dental Hygienists. She has been with Dr. Liggett 5 years and started in the dental field in 2004. She attended Van Buren High School and later graduated with an Associates of Arts in 2001 and an Associates of Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene in 2004. She is married to her husband Andrew and they have a son named Kolton, and a daughter named Bailey. In her spare time, she is a Crossfit trainer and also enjoys horseback riding and anything outdoors with the kids.

Stacey (Nagy) Lockhart grew up in Alma, AR, graduating from Alma High in May of 1989. She graduated from Westark Community College (UAFS) with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in 1991 and UAMS in Little Rock with a Bachelors Degree in 1994. During May 1993 she met her husband Tim, who grew up in Van Buren. Despite their high school rivalry, they married in July of 1994 and had their only son Ryan in May of 2003. Stacey has remained a hygienist in the River Valley her entire career and joined River Valley Smile Center in July of 2012 when Dr. Liggett joined the practice. Stacey loves being a member of RVSC because it is such a close-knit family environment. Her biggest enjoyment about being a dental hygienist is getting to meet members of the community and developing a relationship with her patients. In her free-time she enjoys reading (autobiography and political non-fiction), traveling, and playing with her 2 rescue dogs, Henry and Edgar.

Heather Liggett grew up in Northeast Arkansas, attending Greene County Tech. Gymnastics was the first love of her life, training for twelve years, in Paragould, under coach Bill Grogan. In this sport she gained valuable life skills, as well as, life-long relationships. She earned a bachelors degree in Biology from Arkansas State University and associates degree in Dental Hygiene from UAFS. During her educational venture in Fort Smith, she met her amazing husband, Dr. Charlie Liggett. The two of them have two sweet and beautiful daughters, Emery and Piper. Heather enjoyed working, for eight years, for Dr. James Lee Jr., as a pediatric dental hygienist. She now enjoys working at River Valley Smile Center in accounts payable and general office support.

Drea has worked for 14 years as a Registered Dental Assistant and is now working as a scheduling coordinator. She was in General Dentistry for 6 years and pediatric dentistry for 8. She graduated from North Eastern State University and got her RDA at the Green County School of Dental Assisting. She is married to Troy and has five children, Rylon, Logan, Brooks, Georgia Mae and Bodhi. Her hobbies include watching football games, chasing chickens and raising kids! She has a passion for dentistry, especially with children. She served in a dental missions trip in 2014 at Orphanage Emmanuel in Honduras with hopes of serving more in the future.

Sara has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 15 years. While having worked most of her career in the Fort Smith area, Sara has enjoyed building new relationships with patients and co-workers at RVSC. She takes pride in her work and strives to provide gentle care for her patients in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Sara grew up in Fort Smith and earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from UAFS in 2002. She and her husband Nick have been married since 2003 and they have 8 year old boy/girl twins. Sara loves the Lord and has been a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church since she was a little girl. In her free time, Sara enjoys being an active member of the PTA, tackling DIY projects, spending time with friends and traveling with her family.

Im Lynnett Lott, a graduate of the 2010 UAFS Dental Hygiene program, and have worked with Dr. Johnson since 2012. I am married to the best man on earth, Daniel Lott, who works at ArcBest. We have 3 wonderful children; Shannon (who attends Southside), Rebecca (who attends Ramsey), and Wyatt (who attends Ballman Elementary). I attend and volunteer at Community Bible Church Fort Smith. I love all sports watching, coaching, playing, outdoor activities but most of all my family!

Jennifer is a Dental Hygienist. She has been with RVSC 9 months, but has been in the dental field since 1996; as a Dental Assistant for 7 years and then a Dental Hygienist for 15 years. She earned her BSE from the University of Arkansas, her Associates of Dental Assisting from the Community College of Air Force and Dental Hygiene from U of A Fort Smith. She has a son, Tyler and daughter, Emma. She is a Fort Smith native who enjoys playing tennis and gardening in her free time.

Wanda has been a Registered Dental Assistant with RVSC for one year and has worked in the dental field for 39 years. She has two grown children, Chris and Vickie, and four grandchildren, Maddie, Hunter, Rachel, and Leah. Her black cat, Rocky, is 14 years old. She enjoys singing, reading, and going for walks. When Lulu is not at CBC Fort Smith, she is spoiling the RVSC staff with her cooking and baked goodies.

Taylor is a Hygiene Coordinator who stated working at RVSC this year. She is originally from Southern California, but she currently lives in Greenwood, AR. Before working in the dental field, she worked at an insurance billing company for 5 years. Taylor has been married to her husband Dillan for 4 years, and they love attending car shows together. Her interests include working out, tri-state racing, concerts, and interior design. She enjoys chasing around her almost three-year-old son, as well as her Shih-poo and Dalmatian. In addition, she is expecting a baby boy in January 2022.

Ashley began her role as RVSCs Insurance Coordinator this year, She graduated from Greenwood High School, and received her Cosmetology License from Career Academy of Hair Design. She has 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys at ages 11, 9, 9, 6, and 1. Ashley loves anything in the outdoors, especially kayaking and fishing. She is a cheerful, outgoing, honest, and sometimes goofy person. She loves God, family, and friends. In February, she will have been married for 3 years. Her 6 year old step daughter is a barrel racer, her 11 year old son plays football and is in MMA classes, and her 9 year old daughter is in cheer and tumbling. They are always on the go! In her free time, take her to the water! She loves the lake, river, ocean, pool, and everything in between.

Aletha has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2016 and is a native of Greenwood, AR. She has a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from UAFS and an A.A.S. in Fitness Management from CCAF. Aside from dentistry she loves kayaking, intense game nights, pickle ball, rock climbing, and reading, She attends Community Bible Church in Fort Smith with her husband, Bobby John, and their three handsome boys. Now that shes part of the RVSC family, she looks forward to getting involved with the community and helping others through dentistry.

Debi started in the dental fieldover 20 yearsago when she first became a Registered Dental Assistant .She knew she lovedhelping people prior to that when she became aFirst Responder in her home townin Oklahoma.That is also why she is currently a certified CPR instructor with American Red Cross.Debi graduated from EOSC with an Associates degree in Computer Science. While in Oklahoma, she met and married her amazing husband Brian and they have enjoyedmany ventures over the last 23 years. They have one beautiful daughter.Living by Bible principles and putting God and family first is very important to Debi.In her free time she enjoys being outside especially gardening, raising chickens, kayaking, hiking, and riding bikes.

Dr. Charles Liggett grew up in Fort Smith, attending Kimmons Junior High and Northside High School. He then went on to The University of Central Arkansas, in Conway, where he played shortstop for the baseball team and had a double major in General Science and Criminology. After his baseball career was over, he attended the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, in New Orleans, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. While at LSU, Dr. Liggett was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work directly under some of the most well-respected dentists and specialists in the world. Upon graduation, he moved back to Fort Smith and met the love of his life, his wife Heather Anderson Liggett, who is a pediatric dental hygienist. They have two beautiful daughters together, Emery, who is now 14, and Piper, who is now 12.

For Dr. Liggett, dentistry runs in the family. In the past, he enjoyed working with his uncle and cousin at Parklane Family Dental. Dr. Liggett then went on to open River Valley Smile Center with Dr. Becker to provide comprehensive high-quality dentistry for the Fort Smith community.When Dr. Becker moved to South Carolina to specialize in Endodontics, Dr Liggett started a partnership with Dr. Cole Johnson. They soon built the beautiful, state of the art facility that they practice out of at the current time.

This community is very important to Dr. Liggett. He founded the Weekend Dental Clinic and the Free Extraction Day to provide those in need with free or affordable dental care. The Free Extraction day has been featured on Fox News, in the Chicago Tribune, the LA Times, among other publications. The idea for these projects stemmed from his many dental mission trips to Jamaica (19 to date). Over the course of nearly a decade, Dr. Liggett has extracted thousands upon thousands of teeth and his team has made thousands of dentures and performed a countless number of cleanings. He holds a special place in his heart for the Jamaican community as well. Another issue Dr. Liggett takes very serious is Child Abuse. He has organized and moderated discussions for the local dental community, with experts on the subject, to better recognize and prevent child abuse and neglect.

Dr. Liggett is proud to have been an adjunct faculty member of the University of Arkansas Fort Smiths Dental Hygiene School, where he taught senior students in the clinical environment. He sits on the University of Arkansas Fort Smith Athletic Advisory Board, is past-president of the Fort Smith Dental Association, a member of the Fort Smith Dental Association Executive Committee, President of the Northwest Arkansas Dental Society, a member of the American Dental Association, elected member of the Executive Council for the Arkansas State Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Jamaican Ecumenical Mutual Mission, St Augustine Mutual Mission, the Independent Physicians Alliance, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Academy for Sports Dentistry. Additionally, he is a member of the Fort Smith Boys and Girls Club Alumni Association, official team dentist to the UAFS, Northside, and Kimmons.

In April of 2013, Dr. Liggett was inducted as a fellow into the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy. PFA is an organization that focuses on professionalism, integrity, and ethics worldwide. Less than 1% of dentists in the United States have been elected into this elite group.

In March of 2014, Dr. Liggett was elected to sit on Delta Dentals Dental Advisory Committee. This gives Dr. Liggett a chance to communicate, directly to those in charge of the states largest insurance carrier, ways to improve the current status quo.

In October of 2014, Dr. Liggett was inducted as a fellow into the International College of Dentists. The ICD is the oldest and largest international honor society for dentists in the world. There are over 12,000 members in 122 countries.

In April of 2015, Dr. Liggett was presented with a Community Service Award from radio station KISR. The same month hewas given the New Dentist Award for exemplifying outstanding leadership in varied levels of organized dentistry and for his commitment to represent dentistry in an ethical manner.

Dr. Liggett is elated to be back in Fort Smith where he focuses his free time on playing the drums in a local band, attending concerts and music festivals, CrossFit, playing golf, cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, and enjoying life in the natural state.

Dr. Cole J. Johnson was born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas and was a Southside rebel. Dr. Johnson received a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering, graduating Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. While at the U of A, Dr. Johnson met his best friend and wife Jo Tynon Johnson, who is now, an ER Nurse at Baptist Hospital. After graduating, he pursued his first passion working as a Research Process Engineer for E and J Gallo Winery in central California.

Very quickly Dr. Johnson realized that he wanted to go back to school to be a Dentist. Dr. Johnson comes from a Dental Family. His father, George J. Johnson Jr, has practiced in General Dentistry in Fort Smith for 40+ years at Willow Creek Dental Clinic. His brother, Chad Johnson is an Orthodontist in North Carolina, and his Brother-in-Law is a General Dentist in Bethel, Alaska.

Dr. Johnson attended LSU Dental School in New Orleans, Louisiana for his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He was the President of his class and graduated ranked fourth in his class. During his time at LSU, Dr. Johnson was very active in dental research and was awarded two trips; one to Memphis and the other to Washington D. C. to present his dental research. He graduated with honors from LSU and was awarded with many accolades at his graduation ceremony including; Southern Academy of Prosthodontics award, American Academy of Esthetics award, and a special scholarship awarded by LSUs Dean, Henry Gremillion DDS, to attend the Dawson Academy, for demonstrating his superior clinical performance at the LSU Dental School Clinic. The Dawson Academy is a world renowned academy for advanced dental education.

After graduating Dental School, Dr. Johnson furthered his dental education in Birmingham, Alabama, completing a 1 year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. While in Birmingham, Dr. Johnson worked exclusively at the VA Hospital Dental Clinic, providing care for Americas War Veterans. Dr. Johnson focused his efforts on achieving an IV sedation license and Implantology.

As a proud American Dr. Johnson has a passion for the armed services and is a Major in the Arkansas Army National Guard. He serves as a Dentist at Camp Robinson Medical Command in North Little Rock one weekend every month. He has also served as Secretary of the Fort Smith Dental Association, an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Arkansas Dental Association, International College of Dentists, and American Dental Association.

Dr. Johnson joined the River Valley Smile Center team when he moved back to Fort Smith in 2013. He also works in his fathers dental office part-time. He is the proud Father of two boys; River and Atlas. Through all his travels, Dr. Johnson has remained a dedicated Razorback fan. In his free time, he enjoys flying his para-glider, vegetable gardening, paddling, fishing, and camping with his family.
