Dr. Malyala and his staff did an excellent job on a very difficult procedure. He was the only person in town that was able to address it, effectively saving the tooth, when others would not have been able to.
Dr. Malyala is the owner and founding Endodontist at River Valley Endodontics. Before founding River Valley Endodontics, Dr. Malyala spent 14 years as a full-time endodontist for a multi-specialty group practice in the Cincinnati area, where he gained clinical experience working on challenging root canal cases. Dr. Malyala has always held an interest in being a specialist and finds it very rewarding to help people in pain by providing endodontic care. His favorite part of his job is relieving patients pain and improving their quality of life. Dr. Malyalas goal is to ensure a pleasant and positive dental experience. Most of the patients that come to see me are very nervous/anxious about the root canal procedure. A lot of times they are in pain and have swelling, which is an emergency. First, I like to reassure the patient and convey to them that I am here to help them and understand their immediate concerns. I aim to provide a warm and welcoming experience. I then educate the patient about their problem and provide treatment to address their immediate concerns. I also convey to the patient that we are available to address their post-treatment emergencies any time, day or night if he/she were to develop a problem after the treatment. Dr. Malyala, studied at New York University College of Dentistry where he received his DDS degree in 2003 before completing his postgraduate training in endodontics in 2006. Dr. Malyala was recognized as Resident of the Year during his graduate program residency at Saint Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT in 2004. He was also honored as the Best Outgoing Student, equivalent to the Valedictorian award, upon completion of his dental school education in India.
Driven by values including compassion, customer service, integrity, respect, and professionalism, Dr. Malyala is very passionate and meticulous with his work. He routinely participates in continuing education and training courses to serve his patients well. Dr. Malyala, with his extensive clinical experience and state of the art dental equipment, provides endodontic treatments that can deliver optimal results to his patients.
Dr. Malyala and his wife have been married for over 20 years and have one beautiful daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with his family. Dr. Malyala participated in the 2020 AAE Endo Wellness challenge hosted by the American Association of Endodontists and finished in 1st place for walking most steps in 4 days.

Quite frankly I was in a panic when I was told I had to get a root canal. I've had a couple in the distant past and they were as bad as everyone says they are. Not this time! From the time you walk in the atmosphere is calm, clean, modern and welcoming. Dr. Malyala calmed my fears by explaining the procedure clearly and is clearly a very caring doctor. True to his word the most uncomfortable part of the procedure was numbing the area (not as bad as I anticipated) and just sitting for an hour with my mouth open. Afterwards I experienced no pain or discomfort. I took a Tylenol as directed when I got home and before bed and needed nothing the next day or the days following. Thank you to Dr Malyala and his staff for making what I expected to be a very distressful procedure a surprisingly easy one.

They are THE best! I was in so much pain and Dr Harish got me in last minute! The receptionist, Connie said he would forego his lunch break to help me! How amazing is that!!! I am so thankful to the Dr and his amazing team! These people are angels! Seriously! Btw, the office is beautiful!

I had to get a root canal done and Dr Malyala did an excellent job. Like many of the reviews here claim, Dr Malyala is gentle, explains everything along the way and educates you on everything you need to know. The procedure itself was painless. Cost and scheduling was very upfront/easy and I also appreciated that as well. Whole staff was pleasant.

Dr Malyala saw me as an urgent referral from Cincinnati. He and his assistant were so kind to meet me at his office before they were scheduled to open. He very thoroughly examined a complex problem, did a root canal through a crown, applied gentle wave. I did not have any pain after the procedure. And he followed up with a personal phone call 12 hours after he saw me. Superior service. I can't say enough about his care and his staff for keeping me comfortable.

I had 2 root canals done one week a part by Dr Malyala. First like to say how impressed I was with how modern, bright and clean his entire office was when I had my initial visit. I found Dr Malyaya to be very thorough, and thoughtful with the latest equipment. I had the gentle wave technique done on both teeth(extra$125 on each). Hopefully it will keep me from having any problems down the road. I had to travel 45 miles one way from northern Cincinnati suburbs to go here. I would definitely go back. Also Dr Malyala was nice enough to call next day on how I was doing after each procedure. Rate experience..10/10.

I had deep fillings replaced on a couple of my molars that unfortunately turned into the need for my first two root canals. (fun!) My dentist recommended Dr. Malyala and now I know why. Harish does excellent work. He and his staff delivered a top tier experience even though it isn't an ideal situation. He is very skillful, a great communicator, and genuinely cares about you and your well being. During the procedures I felt no pain and the days following were a breeze. I can't recommend Dr. Harish Malyala and his team enough to anyone if anyone ends up in the same situation as myself!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Malyala and his staff. I needed a emergency root canal and so I was referred by Dr. Dave to see Dr. Malyala. River Valley is phenomenal. They are knowledgeable, gentle and even worked after hours to resolve my issue. Hopefully I won't need anymore root canals but if I do I'd never go anywhere else.

If you are like me probably not a big fan of dental work. Unfortunately I found myself in need of a root canal. I was referred to Dr.Malyala's office. I was in pain, stressed out and so nervous. Dr.Malyala and his staff were amazing! I felt welcomed and a priority when I went to the office. The care and concern from all made me feel so much better. Dr.Malyala and staff were very understanding and patient with all of my questions and concerns. The procedure was painless! Dr.Malyala kept in the loop during the entire root canal. He even called me that evening to follow up on how I was feeling. If you find yourself in need of dental work hands down this is the place! I had never had a root canal done before. The team here was completely focused on making sure I was comfortable, and had no pain. Excellent painter care. The best I have ever had anywhere. I highly recommend this is the only place you should considering going to, should you require a root canal being performed. A big thanks to the team at River Valley!!!

I would give more stars if I could. A great experience for a root canal, if that's even possible. I literally fell asleep at one point during the procedure. Total care, from top to bottom, and followed up with calls to see how I was doing. Dental care as it should be.

I highly recommend Dr. Malyala and River Valley Endodonics for Root Canal Treatments!!! I had one root canal treatment with a general dentist prior to this one and it was a horrific experience, I even lost the molar after the RCT. I can say that Dr. Malyala truly cares for his patients, he was extremely professional and patient. It was an amazing experience, I was nervous and a bit scared but he took the time to explain everything he was doing and helped me to become more relaxed. I came in with a broken filling on molar #3, it was definitely infected and had a cavity. Dr. Malyala evaluated the tooth, cleaned out the infected area, put in temporary filling, and then advised me to see my general dentist to help ensure a crown could be placed over the molar following the RCT. What I loved the most was that he took the time to make sure the whole procedure went perfectly. Most doctors rush everything and Im always nervous of that because things can go wrong when speeding through procedures. Following the treatment, he followed up and called to make sure I was doing alright. I love the high level of patient experience they aim to achieve. From now on, I will use an Endodontist to do anything related to root canals and nerves. They have equipment specialized for root canals which most Dentists do not. The procedure was completed with precision and was painless. I highly recommend anyone who has any pain, fears, and/or doubts about having this procedure done or knows they need a root canal, to call River Valley Endodonics and ask for Dr. Harish Malyala.
