Dr. Malyala and his staff did an excellent job on a very difficult procedure. He was the only person in town that was able to address it, effectively saving the tooth, when others would not have been able to.
Dr. Malyala is the owner and founding Endodontist at River Valley Endodontics. Before founding River Valley Endodontics, Dr. Malyala spent 14 years as a full-time endodontist for a multi-specialty group practice in the Cincinnati area, where he gained clinical experience working on challenging root canal cases. Dr. Malyala has always held an interest in being a specialist and finds it very rewarding to help people in pain by providing endodontic care. His favorite part of his job is relieving patients pain and improving their quality of life. Dr. Malyalas goal is to ensure a pleasant and positive dental experience. Most of the patients that come to see me are very nervous/anxious about the root canal procedure. A lot of times they are in pain and have swelling, which is an emergency. First, I like to reassure the patient and convey to them that I am here to help them and understand their immediate concerns. I aim to provide a warm and welcoming experience. I then educate the patient about their problem and provide treatment to address their immediate concerns. I also convey to the patient that we are available to address their post-treatment emergencies any time, day or night if he/she were to develop a problem after the treatment. Dr. Malyala, studied at New York University College of Dentistry where he received his DDS degree in 2003 before completing his postgraduate training in endodontics in 2006. Dr. Malyala was recognized as Resident of the Year during his graduate program residency at Saint Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT in 2004. He was also honored as the Best Outgoing Student, equivalent to the Valedictorian award, upon completion of his dental school education in India.
Driven by values including compassion, customer service, integrity, respect, and professionalism, Dr. Malyala is very passionate and meticulous with his work. He routinely participates in continuing education and training courses to serve his patients well. Dr. Malyala, with his extensive clinical experience and state of the art dental equipment, provides endodontic treatments that can deliver optimal results to his patients.
Dr. Malyala and his wife have been married for over 20 years and have one beautiful daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with his family. Dr. Malyala participated in the 2020 AAE Endo Wellness challenge hosted by the American Association of Endodontists and finished in 1st place for walking most steps in 4 days.
