Dr. Bryce Hanson completed his undergraduate education at Idaho State University, where he received his bachelors degree. He is a graduate of the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry and has practiced as a dentist in Southeast Idaho since 1997. Because of his commitment to perfection, Dr. Hanson has completed numerous hours of continuing education, especially in the field of cosmetic dentistry. He has studied with those involved in the creation of ABCS Extreme Makeover TV program. He also provides the latest in porcelain restorations and CEREC same-day crowns.
Dr. Hansons experience, advanced training and commitment to excellence combine artistry and technology to give you a smile that exudes confidence, beauty and well-being. For most of our patients, this is a life-changing experience. Dr. Hansons goal as your dentist is to give you the smile you desire and the dentistry you deserve.
Dr. Tanner Higham attended the Roseman College of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2019. He regularly completes continuing education courses to stay at the forefront of the dental field and has received awards for dental excellence in implant placement. Dr. Higham was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, which only admits the top 5% of each graduating dental class in the country. He has practiced in the Shelley area since 2019.
Dr. Higham and his wife, Ashtyn, have twin daughters, Presley and Scottie. Outside the office, he enjoys being outdoors, playing gold and spending time with his family. Dr. Higham is excited to be back in the Shelley area and is committed to providing the highest quality of care for his patients.
Jen has been a wonderful team member at River Valley Dental since 2005. She loves helping people and is a certified dental assistant, working for many years helping us create beautiful smiles. Recently, Jen moved to our front office to help with our patients financial arrangements, and she enjoys the association she gets to have with our patients. She is always available to help if you have any questions or concerns. Her and her husband love being in the outdoors, hunting and camping with their three children.
Hannah joined our dental team in April 2019. She loves working with her dad and seeing our patients become confident in their smile. Hannah got married in June 2021 and loves being active and playing basketball and volleyball.
Mariah joined River Valley Dental in August 2020. She loves the positive energy and teamwork in our office, as well as her coworkers and boss. She maintains a positive attitude and can always be found helping others. Mariah and her husband married in July 2019, and they have a cute puppy named Wrangler. In her free time, she enjoys anything outdoors, as well as fishing, horseback riding and shopping.
Stacey completed ISU workforce training prior to joining our team in April 2021. She and her husband, Jacob, have one daughter named Blakeley. In her free time, her hobbies include making crafts and painting with Blakeley.
Amber attended Illinois Center College, where she served as class president and received the Colgates Student Achievement Award. She enjoys being part of a practice that is 100% family-centered and team-driven, and she brings dedication, positivity and pride in her career to work with her each day.
Ambers family is from the south. She has been married for 16 years and has four children. She is dedicated to her family, and loves being a mom, wife and RDH. Ambers kids keep her busy with sports, and her hobbies include jeeping and off-roading.
Annley is a graduate from the Idaho State University Dental Hygiene Program. She joined River Valley Dental in 2013. She loves caring for people and helping them with their healthy smiles. Annley has a wonderful way of making her patients feel comfortable, especially the little ones. Being a dental hygienist allows her to truly help others and meet new people. In her free time, she loves canning foods from her own vegetable garden and doing crafts. She and her husband have two young daughters.
Breanna graduated from the Utah College of Dental Hygiene with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene in August 2018. She joined our team in December 2018. Outside of the office, she enjoys playing tennis and pickleball and is currently an obsessed aunt.

I have to say that they do everything they can do to make things right. I had a issue with my dental plan.The office manager and Dr Hansen gave me a credit on my account and have went above and beyond to take care of me and the issue we had.I honestly have never been more impressed with a dentist office.I want to say thank you and will gladly suggest this office to everyone and anyone who needs dental work

Professional and friendly staff. Excellent care and service. I have being going there for over 20 years. Just took my 87 year old mother there for a cleaning and fillings. They were very accommodating to her needs and special requests. Appreciate the good care they gave her.

It's been a long time since we've actually found a business that actually cares about their customers this would be the one excellent staff extremely caring receptionist I thought maybe she was the boss as good as she was at her job recommended anytime

When my daughter was visiting from out of town, she had a major problem occur on a tooth and Dr. Hanson took her in on a weekend and took care of her. All of our experiences with this office have been very positive. All of the staff are kind and considerate.

I have been going to this dentist for a couple of years now I really think they go above and beyond for there customers. I got a filling done yesterday and didn't feel any pain and it was done super fast you could tell they knew what they were doing. The staff there really keeps up with your life and I always have great conversations with them before and after cleanings I recommend this place to everyone.

Just a cleaning this time, the Dental hygienist worked very hard to be sure teeth were clean and unstained in spite of having to work around braces! She did an excellent job!

The entire staff is friendly, competent, professional and I feel like they really care - even for an old duffer like me. They answer my questions in a clear easy-to-understand way and don't "beat around the bush". They are kind and considerate, even when I ask them to repeat because I'm hard of hearing.

Dr Hanson is very nice , I have my teeth cleaned every 4 months and if there is a problem , the girl that cleans my teeth lets me know and Exrays are taken to make sure that it's taken care of. I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my teeth taken care of . The staff is very nice . I give them 5 stars

Dr Hansen is amazing. Seriously...my kids don't think they get shots when they get a cavity filled. He is that good. I had a filling replaced yesterday and I came in at 1:30 and was back in my car by 1:53. Seriously 23 minutes to numb my mouth, remove a filling, drill a bit, and put in a new filling. Best part is I didn't even feel that numb. We have been going to Dr Hansen for years and will continue as long as we can. His office staff and assistants are always friendly and professional as well. One time they even watched my toddler while I got my teeth cleaned. Great people all around.

Thank You Dr. Hanson and your entire staff. Your skill at turning my years of bad dental choices into a chewing smiling machine is phenomenal. My jaw pain is gone and I have the bite I had always wished for. I never thought it would turn out this good as we were planning the process out. To anyone out there looking for a family dentist, Dr. Hanson and his staff are the real deal. (And don't forget to visit the candy bowl they keep on the counter!)

I had a wonderful experience at River Valley Dental. Dr. Hanson took great care of me. I had a cracked tooth and the process of getting a same-day crown on it was quite seamless. Dr. Hanson is a very soft and caring individual. I would highly recommend them.
