Minnesota Native and St Johns University Alumnus, Dr. Kevin Tri graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1990. A life-long student, he attends hundreds of hours of post-graduate education taught by some of the best cosmetic and implant dentists in the world as well as advanced studies in all other disciplines of dentistry. Completing his first formal training in implants and implant prosthetics nearly 25 years ago, Dr. Tri has built a reputation based on his uncompromising demand for excellence, meticulous attention to detail and a gentle, warm, and caring demeanor.

Currently, Dr. Tri has completed all academic and clinical requirements in the post-graduate certification in Esthetic Dentistry. This program attracts dentists from all over the world. It is the only such certification taught by an accredited dental school in the United States. Dr. Kevin Tri is currently finishing his research into CAD CAM digital technology and final paper, the final requirements for full certification in the Post Graduate Esthetic Continuum at the University of Minnesota Dental School. Only a handful of dentists have achieved this level of education since the inception of the program. At the same time, Dr. Tri has completed training in Boston and Miami learning the newest techniques in bone grafting and implant surgeries. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry after hundreds of hours of post-graduate studies. Only a few dentists each year receive these prestigious accolades.

Dr. Tri was recently awarded the credentialed level of Diplomate by the American Dental Implant Association, the highest achievement a dentist can be awarded in the organization. To accomplish this level, a doctor must be an active member in the American Dental Implant Association, practice implant dentistry for at least five years, must attend 350 continuing education hours specific to dental implants, and have completed numerous implant cases with full documentation which have been submitted to the Board of Directors for review along with completion of a written examination.

Dr. Tri has served on various boards, recently finishing four years of service on the Continuing Dental Education Advisory Committee for the University of Minnesota Dental School. Dr. Tri is currently serving as a regent on the Regina Hospital Board of Directors in Hastings.

Dr. Kevin was born and raised in Hastings. After completing college he decided to follow his father, Dr. Terrance Tri's footsteps and become a dentist. As a family, they enjoyed providing high-quality dentistry to Hastings and the greater metropolitan area for over 40 years. Dr. Kevin continues to provide the tradition of excellent care with an emphasis on prevention so you can maintain affordable, optimal dental care throughout your lifetime.

Dr. Kevin and his wife Catherine, also a native of Hastings, enjoy all that the community has to offer. They have two children, daughter Alexis and son Andrew, who are both very active in sports and music. Dr. Kevin's interests include spending time with family, traveling, skiing, distance swimming, and baseball. He has actively coached with the HYAA baseball traveling teams.

Dr. Hulse grew up in Inver Grove Heights, MN. He graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska in 1986. With a passion for education, Dr. Hulse also lectured fifth-year pharmacy students at Creighton University and taught at Creighton University's Summer Explorer Program, which exposed advanced high school students to the dental school curriculum. After settling down in the Twin Cities, Dr. Hulse married his wife Sara, who practiced law at the Hastings firm of Sieben-Polk.

Once his family was established, he attended the University of St Thomas and obtained an MBA in Group Practice Management. Dr. Hulse also has a practice in St. Anthony, Minnesota three days a week. Dr. Hulse has also invested hundreds of hours in post-graduate studies, including Level I of the prestigious Post Graduate Esthetic Continuum at the University of Minnesota, advanced studies at the Dawson Institute for Studies in Occlusion, and the Seattle Study Groups. Dr. Hulse also brings to River Valley Dental advanced training in CEREC CAD/CAMdigital dentistry and advanced training and certification with both Invisalign and ClearCorrect orthodontic services. He is currently a member of the 21st Century Study Club.

Dr. Hulse and his wife Sarah live in Mendota Heights and have two children, a son Alexander and a daughter Jane. Dr. Hulse's interests include golf, boxing, art, and reading while trying to keep up with two children.
