Dr. Yanell Innabi-Danial graduated Cum Laude from College of Mount Saint Vincent with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry. In 2015, she graduated from the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine. In 2016, she completed her General Practice Residency at Bronx Care Hospital. She later completed her specialty training in Implant Dentistry under NYU Instructor, Dr. David Chong. She has been practicing in Westchester and Dutchess county, attending many hours of continuing education courses each year. Cementing her dedication to serving the oral health needs of Westchester County, in 2020 Dr. Innabi purchased Dr. John Salamones practice in Dobbs Ferry.
Coming from a family of dentists, Dr. Innabi has always been influenced by the leaders in her field. She is 1 of 5 dentists in her immediate family! Her husband, Dr. William Danial is an emergency medicine physician at Bronx and Westchester hospitals. As a mother of two boys, ages 3 and 1, she is very social when not practicing dentistry. She is also trilingual proficient in both Spanish and Arabic.
River Town Dental founder, Dr. John Salamone, DDS, has established himself as a clinical leader in preventative and restorative dentistry for over 40 years in Dobbs Ferry. Dr. Salamone brings an advanced level of expertise to the office.
Dr. John Salamone graduated from Columbia University, School of Dental Medicine in 1977. Dr. Salamone completed his general practice residency at Booth Memorial, where he also was a clinical instructor. He has been in practice since 1978 and is a member of the professional Education Committee of the 9th District. Dr. Salamone specializes in diagnosis, treatment planning, and restoration of implant prosthetics. His practice caters to generations of families from all walks of life.
Gum disease is one of the leading causes of tooth loss. Gum disease has two primary stages. If diagnosed and treated in the first stage, the condition can be reversed and tooth loss can usually be prevented. In order to prevent gum disease,practice good oral hygiene and visit your dentist for cleanings and check-ups twice a year.
This stage only affects the soft tissue of the gums, and the patient may not experience any discomfort. Although the symptoms may be very mild, it is important to diagnose gum disease in this early stage before it progresses to periodontitis.
Periodontitis is the name for more advanced periodontal disease and if permitted to progress to this point, not only the gums are affected but the bone structures supporting the teeth will be compromised.
A build-up of bacteria causes Gingivitis. In its early stages, inflammation around the gums is observable, with gum tissues appearing red and swollen. Gums that are easily irritated or that bleed during tooth brushing indicate the presence of Gingivitis. Removal of the plaque buildup is necessary to prevent the development of gum disease.
As the gums become more inflamed, they start to pull away from the teeth, forming spaces known as periodontal pockets. Food, bacteria, and plaque begin to collect in the pockets, leading to infection. The surrounding bone becomes damaged both by bacterial toxins and by the immune systemsresponse to infection.

Yesterday was my first visit to Rivertown Dental. From the moment I made my appointment ,and all throughout my visit, I was made to feel so comfortable.Michelle and Kerri at the desk are both so friendly and made me, a dentist avoidant, feel right at home. They answered all my questions and thoroughly explained my coverage. Sarah did an excellent job with my cleaning. I usually dread these! She was gentle, yet thorough, and again, answered all my questions. Doctor Innabi was amazing! She explained very clearly my issues and devised a treatment plan with several options. She took her time and I did not feel rushed. I am so happy that I was referred to Rivertown Dental. I know I will be in good hands with my dental work. Thank you!!!!!

I had the best experience ever with Dr.Innabi-Danial . I have not had dental work in years and I was very nervous and scared. I grew up with dental phobia. She was calming and made me feel very comfortable. The office staff which was the receptionist was very bubbly and pleasing toward a nervous person like me. My hygienist was very friendly and comforting as well. Thank you for everything!

I had a very pleasant experience from start to finish at the Rivertown Dental office. From the initial walk through the door I was pleasantly greeted by the front desk girl. I didn't wait long to see the doctor either so that was a plus. Upon entering the exam room I immediately felt relaxed. The doctor explained everything very clearly to me and the appointment felt like a breeze. I highly recommend Dr. Yanell for anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

Best dental practice ever and i'm not exaggerating! I've tried to go to other dental practices because i've moved away from the area and am about an hour away and I still come back because they know what they are doing and don't waste your time or try to "sell" you anything like some other dentists. Everyone always remembers me there and it feels awesome! Dr. Salamone has always been my dentist since I was a kid, but I went to Dr. Innabi the other day and she was amazing! They are top notch Westchester level approved efficient and I honestly will never go anywhere else! Don't get them confused though with RivertownS Dental. Big difference!!!

One of the best dentist offices I have ever been too. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and the office is very cozy. I went in for a cleaning and had a wonderful Hygienist perform the cleaning who was very knowledgeable and great at what she does, They also have a cool CT Scan for in depth imaging of the mouth, Dr. Innabi is great at her job and is very passionate with her work. Will highly recommend this dental office to friends, family, and coworkers.

I've been seeing Dr. Innabi for the past 3 years, when she moved from her previous location to Rivertown Dental I followed , that's how amazing she is. Her staff is wonderful and very helpful and the location is amazing right off the saw mill. She's a great dentist dentist and offers fantastic service . It's always a pleasure to go to her and leaving smiling.

With the variety of exceptional services Rivertown Dental offers down to the care and consideration from the staff- where do I even start? Both Carey and Michelle who work the front are beyond amazing at their jobs and the kindest people you'll ever meet. Although we will miss Dr. Salamone, Dr. Yanell Innabi is truly a teeth genius. With a woman who exhibits as much passion and professionalism for this business as she does, her craft is next level. She gives each patient 110% through her careful eye and caring nature... you can't go wrong if you're in her hands. Wish I could give 10 stars!!
