I was involved in 4 years of research in addition to my dental curriculum and was awarded the Quintessence Awards for Research Achievement upon graduation. For my efforts with toothpastes, I received the Advancing Science in America scholarship from 20142015 and was invited to the American Association for Dental Research in both 2014 and 2015. My findings are currently helping to redefine the ISO standards on fluoride measurements in teeth and toothpastes. After earning my doctorate I returned to Great Falls to join my fathers practice and the surrounding community.
When I am not in the office I can be found volunteering my time with the Great Falls Ski Patrol as a first responder. I am also involved with local clubs including Toastmasters and local biking and tennis groups. At heart, I am an avid outdoorsman and love to get out and enjoy all that Montana has to offer, from skiing in the winters to hiking, biking, and boating in the summers. When I get a chance I enjoy fishing and hunting, but dont expect any tall tales.

I was not happy with my last set of dentures so went online and found River's Edge Dental. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am to have found them. The staff is amazing and they all make you feel right at home from your first visit. Dr. Currie is above and beyond any dentist that I have been to before. He is very professional and so down to earth. He really listens to what you have to say. He explains everything in a way you can understand it. I would recommend River's Edge Dental to anyone who wants a pleasant dental experience.

I have never had such a great experience at the dentist office. The staff is great and so is Dr. Currie. I get huge anxiety when i go and i didnt here because they addressed all my concerns. Thanks so much

Lost a crown 2 days before having knee surgery which would have caused a month of a missing tooth and extra dental work to repair. They got me in within an hour of my calling for availability and crown replaced 3 hours later. I am eternally grateful for getting me in right away. Staff was professional and courteous. I am not a fan of dentists but I felt at ease there and look forward to returning.

So let me start by saying that I HATE the dentist. I've had tons of not great experiences. Kelsey at River's Edge Dental, has completely changed my opinion. I had a super deep cleaning and was prepared for the worst. It was basically pain free, no terrible drill or tool sounds, and amazingly clean teeth afterwards. Day after I was prepared for sensitive teeth, and sore gums, but that's not the case. Cannot recommend them more! Such a great experience!!

I had a root canal, and the staff was sooo accommodating and professional ! It was such an easy appt. and I was pleasantly surprised how relaxed I was ! Excellent dentistry and friendly clean environment! -

Entire staff is amazing! Actually kind of enjoy going to the dentist now. Hope they institute a payment plan in the future. Highly recommend & the views are awesome too!

Called to make an appointment for an emergency extraction. The gal was very nice on the phone and asked what kind of mouth exam I wanted. I said I'd like just the problem tooth looked at and then extracted. She said ok and quoted me a price and told me the total if I was cash paying. The exam was fine enough, the doctor obviously felt like I was inferior to him and was condescending to me. He made remarks simplifying all of my teeth issues after seeing me for 5 minutes. Then they print off the treatment plan and it was $250 more than I was quoted. I paid $95 for my exam and left in excruciating pain. I would not recommend

Beautiful location and friendly staff! They got my husband, my 3 children and myself in quickly and are amazing at what they do! They sat with each of them and showed them what each tool did and made the cleanings enjoyable for them. They were kind and helpful. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. I had a very broken, very sore tooth that I just couldn't take anymore. Called ALL over mid to late on a Wednesday. Managed to get an appointment with them the next day in the morning to have it looked out. Turns out it was beyond saving, and needed pulling. They got me in later the same day to have it pulled. The doctor was very friendly, through, and professional. I was scared spitless at the idea of having an adult tooth pulled, but they managed to make it a fairly painless process. They are now, obviously, my go-to dentist.
