First, the office is beautiful and calming. The hygienist, Emily was very kind and accommodating not to mention she has a gentle touch. Dr. Cash caught some important issues with their latest technology that I can now plan to deal with. Dr. Cash gave me options with no pressure which to choose. River Run is a Home Run!

Used to love this place but over time I've lost confidence. My appointment was cancelled via text less than 24 hours prior. I then accepted work meetings and got another text saying it was a mistake. I was embarrassed having to then cancel the work meetings I accepted. This was not addressed in person for my appointment. I don't feel informed for many of the things I get sent to billing for. It doesn't help that 50% of my appointments over the past two years haven't even been with my dentist. They always try to sell me on oral screening that isn't covered by insurance. In a quick Google search (not to be taken as truth) there seems to be mixed opinions on if it does more harm than good. There is no actual information provided to me on this and the hygienist always phrases things in ways to make it difficult for me to decline. I should not have to sign something to decline a procedure that insurance doesn't see as medically necessary. Going to the dentist now feels very similar to going to Wells Fargo ten years ago. This seems like either a way to hold hygienists accountable for pushing services that are not medically necessary or as a high pressure technique to encourage patients to receive the treatment in the future. The place is nice, the tech is nice, the frills are all nice. If you want that without feeling like you have the ability to make an informed medical decision for yourself, this might be the place for you.

Fantastic dental office! Everything is so clean & the staff are friendly as can be - they talk to you like a legitimate person & are so easy to get along with. The dentist used to be a place I avoid but now I'll be happy to go - any time! I trust the advice/recommendations they give me & feel like they're truly there for me instead of just trying to get money out of me. Always helps that they want to make sure you're relaxed as possible when coming in & they make it a top priority as well.

Dr.Robert was very thorough and explained what was going on with my issues. She gave me a few options to fix my issues. SHE created a relax atmosphere that made it easier to want to get the work done without hesitation . We even shared a laught. I cannot forget the assistant Kaitlyn ( I hope I spelled her name properly) was extremely good,thorough, and pleasant.

I highly recommend this dental practice. I had one of the most professional and complete dental exam and cleanings by dental hygienist - Devon. The office is immaculate and the customer service, bed side manner and competency of the staff is the best I have ever experienced. My regular dentist is out on leave and I saw someone new to me today. Absolutely wonderful and caring as always. Warm and friendly service from everyone and highly recommend this practice.

I have been going to River Run since I moved to Richmond. I went to Dr. Wheeler & Dr. Patel. The doctors made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. The assistants helped me with any questions I had and were patient with me throughout the process. The office is super clean and well organized from start to finish. I am SO HAPPY that they have an office near Willow Lawn since I'm not a fan of going into Short Pump. It's super convenient and I still get to work with Dr. Patel. I will be bringing my daughter to this office from now on. I recommend everyone to go to River Run I never thought that I would have such a great experience at a dentist.

Dr. Patel and his team have always been great! They make each visit easier than the last. Ask questions about my teeth and comfort. Dr. Reddy and Tenisha were both incredibly attentive, informative and gentle. I went to the office with a major level of apprehension and was immediately put at ease by Tenisha, whose calming demeanor Was a true Godsend. I would recommend River Run Dental without a moments hesitation.
