Dr. Timothy Lund attended dental school at Creighton University, achieving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2004. Melissa joined our practice in 2016. She has been a dental assistant since 2004, and was an oral surgery assistant for 6 years. She originally studied nursing at Montana State University in Bozeman before entering the dental field. She is a certified dental assistant, and also has CPR certification. She married Dr. Lund in 2016, and now has 2 dogs named Gus and Bailey. She loves to work with her husband and considers the rest of the team family. Outside of work she loves cooking and baking, camping, hunting, and spending time with her family.

I am very impressed with Dr.Lund's and his staff's professionalism . I had a dental issue and am visiting from Oklahoma; they called me back asap, were willing to see me and get my records. Melissa is great!

Have been horrible to work with. Didn't return my husband's calls/text/voicemails till they had an issue with an insurance calm and didn't get their funds. We also requested their new patient special and they refused to give him all of the services included yet still wanted the full payment.

In an emergency situation I needed this tooth out, come to find out they didn't take my insurance. Ok I asked how much to extract a tooth $121 ok get this out. They sit me down and said I had to have ex rays $68 and an exam at $87, then on top of that $121 (in my mind). Never again will I come here I left in pain and $155 lighter in the pocket. Total cost would have been $372! Where did the $121 to extract a tooth go? Oh that was really $217!! I will never go back!

Best dentist in Montana! Stopped in for a cleaning a check up on a tooth that was hurting and ended up needing a cavity filled. I hate needles and Dr. Lund made sure to give extra care so I didn't notice of feel any pain.

I stopped by River Rock Dentistry in Belgrade Montana when I was traveling thru Bozeman Montana. What a great experience. I have a fear of the dentist and needles and Dr. Lund made sure I didn't feel a thing. The fillings turned out great too. Thank you for going out of your way for a great professional experience!

This place is a scam! Listen to the other reviews and be careful! Do not waste your money! I hate to write bad reviews (especially to a dentist as my late grandfather was a well-respected and honorable dentist) but I do not want others to waste thousands of dollars like we did!!! We went to this dental office for two years before we realized. Everyone in the office was so kind and friendly! But every single time we went in for a simple cleaning, they would tell us we needed new x-rays and lots of other dental work. Their kindness and having a grandfather for a dentist made me inclined to trust them, and so I listened to their advice. But after the third time in two years that they told us our fillings were "chipped" and would need to be redone (by the same dentist who did them in the first place and 'fixed' them the first time), we began to grow wary. We went to two other dental offices for a second opinion and our fillings were FINE. Our family also did not have the TEN other collective cavities they claimed we had. We would have gone broke staying with this office. Obviously, we stopped going here at this point. Yet, A WHOLE YEAR LATER, we receive yet another bill from this freaking office. Apparently, they "misquoted" us for the first fillings and "forgot to send the bill" until they got a new financial manager, so we owed them over a thousand dollars AGAIN or it would go to collections. THEY forgot to send the bill for an ENTIRE year and forgot charge/quote us properly originally, and still had the audacity to threaten collections. We paid the bill, so we could finally be done with them. I can't tell anyone how to spend their money, but please be careful of this office. If you think that you are being charged more than usual for a service or require dental work more than usual after going to this office, seek a second opinion, as we did. It may save you THOUSANDS. (Also, it is not a coincidence that they have only responded to positive reviews. Responding and interacting in this way keeps the positive reviews at the top, which is obviously what they want.)

Dr. Lund and Melissa are incredible. I needed to have some issues with previous fillings and crowns fixed, and they have been so patient and helpful since day one. They explain what they are doing step by step to make sure that you understand what's going on in your mouth, and they are constantly checking in to make sure that you are comfortable during your appointment. I feel like they have become part of my family, and I won't trust anyone else to do my dental work. Excellent customer service, and they are great at what they do!

I have been seeing Dr. Lund for about 5 years and, even after moving states for school, continue seeing him anytime I am back in town. He always makes me feel comfortable and does a great job. I feel like he truly wants to get to know his patients and really cares about what you want as a patient. They quoted like $4500 in dental work without getting a cleaning at the same time. Stating that I did not have time to wait and trying to use fear to make me schedule stating that I needed to do this immediately. My gut was screaming at me the moment I walked in and it did not feel right. I have always take decent care of my teeth and never had a cavity and suddenly I needed all this work done? I sent the estimate to my best friend who is a dentist out of state who also instituted this was shady and not right. Who said that this guy was trying to do something on every tooth in my mouth. Before I even left the office I knew I would be getting a second option. I decided not to go through it and went back to my regular dentist (who I was only switching away from because I no longer wanted to make the 20 minute drive) my dentist told me that I did have one cavity that we could fill at my earliest connivence since it was causing me only minimal pain. It's $300 to get it done. This is a scam.

Dr.Lund here is by far the the best dentist I've met! He Works with you in just about anything and really cares and puts thoughts into his patients and their needs. He walks you though what needs to be done as well as a explaining very well. I've been one with a poor dental record, so I've been to a handful of locations and I can honestly say dr.Lund and River Rock Dental is the ONLY dentist I will ever recommend to anyone. A solid 20 out of 10!

Everyone at this office is TOP NOTCH! Most excellent staff & Dr. Denning is absolutely wonderful! By the way, she's a great singer as I've heard her bust out in song while working on me! Oh how I love this! Any fears or worries I've had ( I'm a nervous Nelly at the dentist) they all calm me so much all the way down to warm blankets lol! Love this place! I am 51 years old and have been in and out of dentists offices,too many times. I called river rock dental with an emergency,and they got me in that afternoon.my dentist,Dr.Jennifer Lehnhardt made my visit without a doubt the most painless dental experience i have ever ever had.Dr Lenhardt was amazing. I had to have extensive dental work completed. Dr Lund and his team were awesome in scheduling, helping to set up financing, and making sure my needs were met. They even have evening appointments. By far has to be one of best dentists in Gallatin County for restorative dental work. My smile looks great again.
