The team here is great! They are so helpful and when we had a tooth crisis they were so willing to help us even though they had a full schedule. I also love the connections they have with other doctors in the area. It feels like a whole team of people are working together to help my daughter.
A longtime resident of Austin, Dr. Jennifer Zatopek earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Capital Area Dental Society.
With a focus on cosmetic solutions and implant dentistry, Dr. Zatopek is Invisalign certified, Kois trained, and also provides Crowns In A Day with advanced CEREC technology. A graduate of the Clinical Mastery Series, she invests heavily in continuing education to learn the latest techniques, technologies, and solutions to help her patients experience smile transformation.
She has been happily married to her college sweetheart, Todd, for over 20 years. They have four amazing kids Jacob, Lucas, Sam and Kate and three rescue dogs. She enjoys reading, running, weight training, and spending time with family.
Dr. Julia Hawthorne earned her undergraduate degree in Music (Trumpet Performance) from Southern Methodist University. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry.
She and her husband love spending time with their two daughters, Brooklynn and Presley. They enjoy traveling to exotic locations several times a year, being involved with Austin Christian Fellowship ministries, entertaining in their northwest Austin home, staying healthy, and sharing the message of hope and healing through the power of wholefood nutrition. And, of course, they cheer on their beloved Texas Longhorns. Hook Em Horns!

Professional, Friendly, Gentel, Accommodating. After breaking one of my Veneers, I was scheduled an appointment within a week. Pleasantly surprised they started the replacement process that day. Dr. Zatopeck and Nelda worked seamlessly together. Nelda made my temporary blend well with my existing teeth. These two have perfected their craft. Ashley, working with Dr. Zatopeck and Lab, was thoughtful to schedule my permenit Veneer placement before Thanksgiving. I feel well taken care of. Thank you

I felt like I was at someone's home while getting my teeth cleaned! So inviting. Everyone is SO nice there from receptionist to the doctors. And the hygienist was very gentle with my mouth and was also lovely to talk to. Almost excited to go back and have work done in November!

Dr Tishler, Jen and all the staff are wonderful. They truly make going to the dentist an enjoyable experience, and they are dedicated to making you as comfortable as possible. Of course, the actual dental work is top notch!

I've been coming to Riverplace Dental for years. Almost 10. They are super sweet and the office is really nice. However, if you have dental insurance and want to use it, go elsewhere. This facility don't take insurance so it's good for self pay.

There's going to a dentist appointment, then there's going to a dental experience just like I had at River Place Family Dental. The ambiance, the staff, wow what a great time. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, I felt like a celebrity with how well I was treated and all the pictures (of my mouth) they took. Special thanks to Dr. Tishler and how awesome she is! 15/10 would recommend. I might keep not flossing so I can return for more visits.

They will tell you they take your insurance when they don't then hit you with a huge bill. Outrageously more expensive than other dental practices. They will also relentlessly try to sell you invisalign whether or not you need it or are interested.

Had a dental emergency and it was handled efficiently and effectively. Was able to go on vacation the next day forgetting my medications at home. No problem... made a call to their office and had meds in Florida within the hour. It was a delight to know their team was at hand to help me out. Thank you all!

I recently changed dentists and what a great change. You really do not know what you are missing until you go to River Place dental. The on boarding process was done online so I didn't have to fill out tons of paperwork in the office. Wendy greeted me and was great getting my X-rays done and ready to meet Dr. Zatopek. You can tell right away that she knows her teeth!! After a visit with her I was then ready to get my cleaning from Kenli. The staff was great. Would definitely recommend!!

Love the service and quality of care at RPD. My family and I have been customers for about 12 years now. Even after moving out of the central Texas area, we still make trips to Austin for care at RPD because we can not find their equal. Highly recommended.
