After moving to Daniel Island, I wanted to practice close to my home. I opened River Landing Dentistry with the goal in mind to build a team committed to each other and our patients. Through that commitment we can provide our highest quality dentistry to the community.

I offer comprehensive dental services, including family, cosmetic, and advanced services. Furthermore, I have special interests in temporomandibular joint disorder (commonly known as TMJ or TMD), occlusion based dentistry, dental sleep medicine, and implantology. This means that I have a special passion for the way our teeth come together and how that affects our muscles, joints and teeth as a system. I also focus on treating sleep breathing disorders with dental appliances, and I hold theQualified Dentist Designationfrom theAADSM. I feel that dental sleep medicine and treating TMD go hand-in-hand, and knowledge of one allows for better treatment of the other. I also have a passion for implantology and surgery. I place and restore implants using the latest technology including, 3D-imaging, oral scanners, 3-D printing and PRP/PRF. If you see me either as general dentistry patient or a referral, it is my goal to make you feel like you have been heard and to feel that we are a team moving towards a common goal of a healthy dentition.

I was raised in North Carolina, and I graduated high school from theNorth Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. While in dental school, I was a member of the GPD Prosthodontic Honor Society, the Gorgas Odontological Honor Society, and graduated with membership in the prestigious national dental honor society OKU. Following residency, I worked in Maryland in private practice until moving to Daniel Island.

I met my husband, Mike, while at Johns Hopkins University, playing tennis. We have three children: Kate, Madeline, and Michael. When I do get free time, I enjoy Latin dancing, tennis, cooking, gardening, playing 4-person card games and practicing up on my Spanish. Most importantly, I love spending time with my family.

I am a passionate leader in my community and in service to others. While in dental school, I served as the national student representative for the American Association of Women Dentists. I am the recipient of the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship for community service, and I ran health-based education programs for homeless women and children in Baltimore. I am the recipient of the Delta Dental Student Leadership Award and the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics. I have been active in both Pankey and Spear study clubs.

I believe that all patients should be treated comprehensively and have focused my skill set on providing an array of additional advanced treatment options including Invisalign clear aligner therapy, oral conscious sedation, Botox cosmetic and therapeutic treatments, and dental implants. I have studied advance Invisalign treatment under Dr. David Galler and have participated in the Invisalign Pro Program.
