We use advanced technology, like our cone beam CT scanner, so that we can diagnose and treat patients faster and more effectively while speeding recovery. For patients, it means better results and less time in the dental chair. We believe that our combination of technology and expertise provides patients the best possible outcomes.
Its been proven again and again that just the act of smiling can improve your mood and the mood of people around you. But its hard to smile when the condition of your teeth makes you feel uncomfortable.
While many cosmetic problems can be solved with a single procedure, sometimes patients have several problems and dont know which one to tackle first. And sometimes patients have additional cosmetic issues that they dont recognize until they are pointed out.
At River City Dental Solutions, Dr. Perry works to stay up-to-date on the latest technological advances in dentistry. As a result, we can provide our patients with the highest level of care available. We believe that each individual is unique, and we strive to personalize every treatment plan to meet the specific needs and goals of each patient.
At River City Dental Solutions in San Antonio, our experienced dentist can conceal the imperfections that affect your smile with the help of dental veneers. Using the latest technology and proven techniques, our dentist can provide you with veneers that give you a rejuvenated smile that beams confidence.
When you choose to receive veneers at our San Antonio practice, our dentists must first prepare each imperfect tooth by removing a thin layer of enamel. This ensures that the porcelain veneers lie flush alongside your adjacent teeth and don't appear bulky. Our dentists perform this step conservatively to retain as much natural tooth structure as possible.
While the dental lab is crafting your new restorations, which can take a few weeks,we may provide temporary veneers. These protect each affected tooth and keep your smile in good condition until your final veneers can be bonded into place.
At the dental lab, a trained ceramist will handcraft your restorations using medical-grade materials. The technician will combine layers of porcelain and color-match your restorations to the shade of your natural teeth for truly lifelike results.
No. Local anesthetic can be used to numb the area being treated. If you are anxious about dental work, our San Antonio practice offers sedation options to help you feel calm and relaxed during treatment.
Because veneers are a cosmetic dentistry treatment, they are considered purely elective. As a result, most insurance plans do not cover the cost. At River City Dental Solutions, we will work with you to help you afford the treatment you deserve. Simply speak with one of our financial experts during your next visit.
In addition to accepting cash, checks, and most major credit cards, we also offer a membership plan throughSmile Advantage a trusted alternative to dental insurance. When you become a member, you can enjoy free exams and cleanings as well as 20 percent off of all other services.
Our San Antonio practice offers professional teeth whitening that can dramatically brighten your smile. Whitening treatments can be an excellent option for a more dazzling smile if the only concern is extrinsic staining, meaning stains on the outside of a tooth caused by coffee, smoking, and other substances. However, whitening treatments cannot treat intrinsic staining inside the tooth, which can stem from trauma to a tooth or the use of certain medications. Veneers may be a better option to hide these deep stains or if your smile also has minor flaws like a chipped tooth.
Dental crowns are caps that fully surround a tooth. They are often used to restore the function and appearance of a damaged tooth, support tooth structure affected by extensive decay, and protect a tooth after root canal treatment. Like veneers, crowns are designed to blend in seamlessly with your smile. While veneers require a layer of enamel to be removed from the tooth, dental crowns require more extensive reshaping of the tooth structure. A crown may be a better treatment choice than a veneer if a tooth needs structural support and not just aesthetic enhancement.
While veneers can hide the appearance of minor misalignment, orthodontics will more likely be recommended to patients with moderate to severe malocclusion. Misaligned teeth can lead to tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health concerns. Since veneers are a cosmetic treatment, they only camouflage crooked teeth and won't straighten them. Our San Antonio, TX, practice offers Damon Braces and Six Month Smiles to patients seeking to straighten their teeth for a stunning smile.
