For over 25 years, Rita Bhat, DMD, has provided high-quality dental care in the Lake Norman area in Mooresville, North Carolina. At her private practice, Dr. Bhat offers a range of both general and cosmetic dentistry services and treatments, including dental implants, teeth whitening, dental crowns, veneers, and laser dentistry.
Dr. Bhat graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She completed her general practice residency at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, before working as a contract dentist during the Persian Gulf War at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Dr. Bhat has extensive experience. She served as the President of Iredell County Dental Society and shes also been involved with volunteering at the Mooresville OutReach and Missions of Mercy a nonprofit organization run by the North Carolina Dental Society. The goal of the organization is to serve the local population without access to dental care.
Dr. Bhat has been honored and awarded for her contributions to the dental field and local communities. She was recognized as one of America's Top Dentists selected by the Consumer Research Council since 2005. She is active in the dental field and a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

Kim Cales is a registered dental hygienist who graduated from West Virginia Institute of Technology in 1988. She holds licensure in West Virginia, Texas and North Carolina. She is proactive in continuing education and maintains more than the required credit hours yearly. She has been with Dr. Bhat since 2007.
