In order to become an orthodontist, I first attained my undergraduate degree at Duke University, then graduated with my DDS from The University of North Carolina. Finally, I got my Masters in Orthodontics at The University of Nebraska.
In order to provide the highest level of care for my patients, I know I must keep up-to-date on all the latest advances in orthodontics, general dentistry, oral surgery and periodontics. I see a wide variety of cases, and my continuing education allows me to gain the knowledge needed to treat my patients with greater care and efficiency.
I love to see our patients personalities develop as their smiles improve through the treatments given here. Our gentle care and personal treatment help people realize that they truly are special, and their new smiles help them feel confident enough to express themselves! I enjoy the enthusiasm and energy of our patients, and after 16 years am still thrilled to come to work each day.

I grew up in Glastonbury, and have lived with my wife, Dawn in South Glastonbury for the past 19 years. My son, Reid is currently studying to be an orthodontist in Texas. My son, Collin is attending dental school in Connecticut and my daughter, Morgan is getting her teaching degree in Tennessee. In my spare time, I enjoy tennis, cycling, going to the beach and visiting my kids.

Rebecca loves anything involving her friends and family especially her husband, Kevin and daughters, Elizabeth and Reese. She likes to laugh, bake, dance and spend time with her dogs. I take great pride in our team. We strive collectively to make our patients experience one they truly enjoy.
Jenny loves to spend time with her husband, Patrick and two sons, Ben and Max. She loves dancing, laughing, playing with her 2 dogs, Rosie and Daisy and most of all, being creative! I love that we not only create beautiful smiles, but we also make sure our patients are having a great time while visiting with us! Lets have some fun!
Andrea enjoys spending quality time with her daughters, Jennelle and Taylor, and her husband, Dave. As a family, they like to hike and go out on their boat. Andrea also likes to read. I enjoy meeting new families and providing an exceptional patient experience for them.
Melissas favorite thing to do is spend time with her loved ones, especially her husband, Pelly, and their children, Aidan, Joey and Stefanie. She is also an avid reader. I love that my job allows me to show our patients how our doctors and team can give them an amazing smile.
Linnea enjoys any activity that she can do with her husband, Rick and her son, Randy. She also loves home improvement projects, antiques, reading and listening to music. I feel good about helping our patients achieve a confident smile that will last a lifetime.'
Ginger enjoys any time spent with her daughter Lydia. Especially the hours and hours of quilting together. Reading and being outdoors are also favorite activities. Its a pleasure working in an office with such great team members and doctor while creating beautiful smiles.
Bella loves spending time with her friends and family, doing road trips with them and traveling. She also loves to paint and draw. Seeing how excited patients are when they get their braces off is my favorite!
Vanessa likes to cook and take care of her busy family. She and her husband, Dave, have two kids, Kody and Lily. They all enjoy playing with their many animals! I enjoy seeing my patients transformations and the smiles on their faces when their braces come off.
Spending time with her boyfriend, Patrick and her dog, Tucker, is Kellis favorite thing to do. Kelli also loves relaxing at the beach with family and friends . I love having the opportunity to be part of making our patients smiles beautiful.
Wendy loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, fishing and being outdoors. She loves meeting new people and seeing new places. I love being part of a team that brings such a positive change to peoples smiles and lives.
Odalice loves an adventure! She enjoys traveling, trying new foods and spending time with her family. She loves to sing and do makeup in her spare time as well. I love working at Risinger because it allows me to be a part of transformations that truly change a persons life.
Eunice loves spending time with her husband, Mark and 2 sons, Ethan and Tyler. Im so happy to be a part of this team! Seeing the amazing transformations in our patients smiles and working with fantastic people while doing it brings me joy every day!

This was my first visit to Risinger Orthodontics. The office and staff at Risinger Orthodontics are professional and made me feel like I had been a patient for years. While I may or may not need ortho, I walked out hoping I do so I can go back!

My daughter Nicole has been a patient for almost year and a half now. She has awesome experience with the staff and Dr. Risinger. Her treatment is going well and results are showing already. I was raised by a single mom and did not have a lot of extra money growing up braces were not an option. I decided to get my teeth straightened at 45 years old. It can be a little awkward at this stage in life but they made me feel right at home. I thought that Invisalign would be a nice option for me being that I could remove them and put them back in. But like everything in my life, I'm all or nothing. Dr. Rick worked with me and did not give me a hard time about having to move to braces. They are professional on point and provide a relaxed and awesome atmosphere ! I highly recommend them and I'm very happy that I made the decision to come to Risinger's ! Thanks to the whole team at Risinger!

We are just starting our journey here with my daughters orthodontic care and I am already blown away after our consultation, everyone was so kind and warm and welcoming, Dr Risinger is extremely knowledgeable and kind, I feel confident in our treatment plan ahead of us and my daughter I both agreed orthodontic care can be challenging but it's clear they are striving to make the experience as enjoyable and easy as possible! Her nerves about braces are lessened and they even offered her ice cream at the end! We are glad this is the orthodontic practice we have chosen!

I own a pet ape and two of her brackets broke two wires broke and one of them is disconnected and she almost died because she was eating and they broke which could've caused her to choke. 5 stars but the work isn't giving. byeeee

I absolutely LOOOVVVEE this office!!! Both my kids utilized them for their braces and now I'm using them as well. Dr. Risinger is awesome and sets the standard for his AMAZING staff. Prior to COVID they gave more than orthodontia services, they gave an "experience" ..... with a game room, movie theater and ice cream bar. COVID has changed that a bit, but they still keep you engaged with contests, free gifts and community events. This office is truly the Gold Standard for any business.

I had braces over 40 years ago but my teeth had shifted quite a bit since then. I just completed 8 months of Invisalign and could not be happier. Dr Rick Risinger is a miracle worker as well as a kind and compassionate person. Everyone that works there is so nice I actually looked forward to my appointments. I highly recommend this office!

The Drs approach to tooth correction is phenomenal. It's done specifically for that patient and such thought and professionalism goes into his work. He is a perfectionist and it shows! Highly recommend! Another amazing aspect of Risinger Orthodontics, is the kindness, and gentle treatment of the patient. I have only superb compliments for specifically two of the Clinical Assistants. Odalice and Wendy are truly amazing! They treat you like family and make the experience so pleasant! This is the true definition of patient care! Such knowledge and extreme patience with questions. I literally forget I am in an Orthodontists office with a phenomenal Dr. as well as Wendy and Odalice! If anyone wants amazing care of their teeth with such high tech, innovative, personalized care then come visit Risinger Orthodontics. It has been an amazing experience and I will refer anyone that asks who the best is to this Dr.
