Dr. Riordan is a native of Rock Hill, having attended Ebinport Elementary, Sullivan Middle, and Northwestern High schools. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of South Carolina for his undergraduate studies. After college, Dr. Riordan attended the Medical University of South Carolina, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. In recognition of his high achievement in dental school, Dr. Riordan was chosen for membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Following dental school, Dr. Riordan went on to complete a 30-month residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Medical College of Georgia. Immediately after graduating, Dr. Riordan established his practice in Fort Mill in 2001, and added a Lake Wylie location in 2012.
Dr. Riordan is a past-President of the South Carolina Association of Orthodontists and actively serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina Orthodontic Residency Program, where he has taught clinical orthodontics to the residents since the programs inception in 2006

Our scheduling coordinators are the first people that you talk to when you call our office and the first people you meet when entering. They always have a smile on their faces and make it their goal to schedule your visits & make sure you receive the best orthodontic care possible. They are friendly, efficient and enjoy what they do.
During your first visit, you will meet with the treatment coordinator and with Dr. Riordan for a complete orthodontic exam. The treatment coordinator will provide you with valuable information about orthodontic treatment and will answer all of your questions. Her job is to inform you regarding all aspects of orthodontics and will come up with just the right payment plan so that your needs are met.

Wouldn't recommend for retainers. I was incorrectly fitted for one here and needed gum surgery from a dental surgeon after a year of using it.

I love these people!! The entire staff is amazing. They are always so polite and accommodating. There have been many times my schedule has changed unexpectedly and they have always been more than willing to get my son back on the schedule. I particularly love the girls at the front desk. They are super sweet and always seem to happy to see us! My son also likes the Dr. and the girls in the back. He said they always make him feel comfortable even when they get on him about keeping his teeth brushed If you are searching for a great Dr. along with a team of professional but sweet staff this place is for you.

I can not say enough great things about this practice. Dr Riordan is very knowledgeable and patient. His staff goes above and beyond to make sure things are going well and that we are happy. It's always such a pleasant experience walking into his office. Everyone is always so kind.

We have loved our experience with Riordan Orthodontics. One adult and two children in our household received orthodontics from this practice. The staff has always been very friendly, flexible and helpful. Insurance issues were managed well and the cost has been fair. We highly recommend this practice with it's two convenient locations!!

Riordan Orthodontics is the best place to go for braces! As a patient you are treated as a true friend since the staff really gets to know you and makes you feel like apart of their family! I highly recommend Riordan Orthodontics to anybody who needs braces!

My family loves Dr. Riordian and his staff! Everyone is so friendly and they always have smiles on their faces. His staff is good with working around school schedules and helping with insurance questions. The pricing is reasonable and affordable. I would definitely recommend Dr. Riordian for treatment.
