Let me start by saying thank so much you to Rio Rancho Family Dental Care I have a bad anxiety about going to any Dr the staff is super friendly and informative made me feel like I was welcome and explained to me what was going to happen and how it was going to happen I highly recommend this dental office I have another appointment next week

What a great experience! Have been searching for a new dentist, since moving to NM and this place is perfect; from reception to my new favorite hygienist Kim and the lovely Dr. Allen. Have been only once, but cannot recommend highly enough

Wonderful experience. They sent advance reminders, were on time & ready for me, modern equipment & 360deg radius x-ray, totally competent ... I left with a big smile. Best ever

I've been in Rio Rancho for a year now. Cheryl is always a pleasant hygienist to work with, and everyone within the practice is always so friendly and professional. I highly recommend Rio Rancho Family Dental if you're relatively new to the area and looking for a trusted dental service and a family friendly environment. Top notch !

I drive an hour and a half to go to this dental office. Hands down, the most professional and caring place I have ever visited for anything from an emergency to a routine cleaning. Give them a try and you will see how far this team of people exceeds your expectations.

My husband's insurance changed and I thought it was updated. We get a statement in the mail with a hand written note on it telling us that we need to update or thier amounts is ours to keep with keep underlined three times. I called to ask them why they were so rude and could have just called me. They didn't think it was rude and it was acceptable. In reply to their response. Please be aware that they stated it is standard to treat people rudely in their business practice. It is never appropriate to tell people who always pay their bills that they are stuck with a balance. In addition, thank you was not underlined. Their "thank you" was written after the statement "the bill is mine to keep" which causes the meaning of thank you to be more sarcastic than a meaningful thank you.

I have contacted the manager numerous times and have received no response. I feel so used and tricked out of my money, and feel the need to share my experience so that no one else has the horrible experience I have had. Several years ago my family and I moved to Corrales from the east mountains. I put off finding a new dentist for some time, as that's never an easy thing to do. Eventually, I asked around and was referred to this dentist by a close friend I called your office and asked if they took my insurance, GEHA. I was told they did, so I set up an appointment for myself and my grandson. I am a 27 year Air Force veteran and employee and have used this insurance for many years. Every time I've been to the dentist for check ups and annual x-rays and even sealants (for my dependents) my cost has been zero. My insurance covered it 100%. This is what I expected and why I was sure to ask if your company took my insurance After our appointment, when I checked myself and my grandson out I was shocked to find that we owed $491. I have never paid that much for annual check ups; I normally don't pay a dime. That was really hard for me to swallow especially as I verified that they took my insurance. It was then that I learned we were out of network. it would've been nice to know that before hand. I don't understand how someone could have told me they take my insurance, but I am out of network. But we liked the office, the people were all great, so I paid what was due. We actually liked the office so much that when we came home I switched my dental insurance (it happened to be open season) to an insurance company that was in network with the company, MetLife. We had planned that they would be our families new dentist. We were thankful to have found a new dentist. Boy was I shocked when I got another bill in the mail from the office for an additional $454. Unbelievable. Not only because my previous bill said there was nothing else due, but that I actually had to pay for any of this in the first place. Again, I walked in thinking you accepted my old insurance. I feel that I was tricked and now have no choice but to pay these bills which, had I known I would've just gone to another dentist that did actually take my insurance and I would've paid zero. I feel I was tricked and deceived. Finally, I called the office and asked if we could just settle this with the $490 I already paid, and I think I was offered a discount of 150. Absolutely unbelievable to me. They have lost my families business and any recommendations that I would've given. I will find another dentist, but what a shame.......our experience there was great except for feeling we were deceived with the insurance. Again, I have contacted people with no response. No one is admitting any wrong and I am out so much money. I would advise strong caution going here; I don't want anyone else out $1000 for something they thought was covered

Absolutely best dental care I've ever received! The front staff is very welcoming and have amazing customer service! The care I received from Dr. Allen, Ashley and the hygienist has been phenomenal! I highly recommend anyone who needs care to call and make an appointment!
