Rio Grande Childrens Dentistry & Orthodontics has pediatric dental specialists on staff overseeing our dental operations. Pediatric dentists are childrens dentists who elect to take an extra two years of schooling to specialize in pediatric dentistry. Our childrens dentists work with children aged nine months to 18 years, and with special needs patients up to 26 years. No matter how minor or serious your childs needs are, we have the knowledge and technology upon which you can rely.

Christian Peck, DDS was born in Massachusetts and raised in Coalville, Utah. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Weber State University. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He was then fortunate to stay in Richmond to complete an additional two-year pediatric dental residency at VCU and the Childrens Hospital of Richmond and received a Masters degree in Science of Dentistry. Dr. Peck has volunteered several hours with the Mission of Mercy project providing free dental care in rural areas of Virginia. Dr. Peck enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda and his three kids: Kayla, Mylee, Crue, and their dog Nacho. He is an avid snowboarder, speaks Spanish, enjoys building furniture, and plays many different sports.

David Greene, DDS, is originally from Mesa, Arizona. Prior to Dental School, Dr. Greene received his Bachelor of Science degree in Micro-biology from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Next, he pursued his DDS degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in Columbus, Ohio where he graduated Cum Laude. After graduation, Dr. Greene moved back to Arizona and began practicing general dentistry in Tuba City, Arizona and remote surrounding areas, providing comprehensive dental care for the Navajo Nation. Dr. Greene relocated to New Mexico in 2015 where has been providing quality dental care to children and adults. Dr. Greene takes great interest in giving back to the community and has been involved in numerous clinics and projects providing services for underserved communities, the homeless and sick in the United States and Mexico. Because of his charitable work, he is quite fluent in Spanish! Dr. Greene enjoys spending time with his two sons, Travis and Gideon, and fianc, Erin. In his free time, he likes hiking, camping, soccer, snowboarding, mountain biking, watching college football (Go Buckeyes), and leading a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Greene hopes to continue to provide high quality comprehensive modern dental care in a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Stephen R. Jensen, DDS attended CWRU School of Dental Medicine and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society for high academic achievements and extra-curricular accomplishments. After dental school, he completed a yearlong Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. He continued on to become a certified orthodontist by completing orthodontic specialty training at the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in San Antonio, TX and successfully completing the Western Regional Examining Board Orthodontic Specialty Exam. Dr. Jensen grew up in Southern New Mexico. He currently lives in Las Cruces with his wife, Amber, and their four wonderful children. He enjoys attending his childrens school activities and sporting events. He served in the military for over nine years to include overseas deployments. Dr. Jensen understands the importance of service and community. He is active in local church, scouting, dental, and other community organizations. In his free time, you will find him exploring the beautiful Southern New Mexico outdoors. He loves staying active and enjoys almost every outdoor or team sport activity.

Jennifer Lapsker, DDS, was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She graduated with a degree in Integrative Biology in 2005 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Following in her fathers footsteps, she decided to pursue dentistry and earned her D.D.S. degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry. It is here that she met her husband, Jonathan. Dr. Lapsker worked with her father before making the move to Albuquerque, and has been providing care to the great state of New Mexico since 2010. In her spare time, Dr. Lapsker likes to learn about different cultures, cook, do crafts, and spend time with her son and her Toy Poodle, Abbey.
