Dr. Han was born in Shanghai, China and grew up in Tokyo, Japan. She moved to San Antonio with her family when she was 11 years old. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Biology and Piano Performance at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated magna cum laude. Upon graduating, she was accepted to the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and graduated in 2013 with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Han moved to Dallas after finishing dental school and has been practicing ever since.
Dr. Han enjoys seeing both children and adults. She has taken many hours of continuing education to provide comprehensive dentistry for her patients. Shes thankful for the opportunity to build and maintain friendships with patients while providing the best dental care possible. She is a big proponent of preventive and minimally invasive dentistry and feels strongly that treatment decisions should be made in the best interest of the patients dental health.
Dr. Han met her pediatric dentist husband Dr. Choy in Dallas. Outside of the offices, they enjoy traveling and spending time with their son Max and golden-doodle Curry. She speaks 4.5 languages: Shanghainese, Mandarin, Japanese, English and dental Spanish Dr. Han also enjoys cooking all types of cuisines and playing the piano.

This is a repost. I had given this officie a 1 star before due to how neglected this place was. The one good thing it had going for them was the friendliness of their employees. That was 6 months ago though. Recently i had to bring my daughter in for her appointment. I was debating weather i would switch providers or not, but i decided to give them another chace. I AM GLAD I DID!! As soon as i walked trough the doors i was able to see how much they have work on keeping their officie clean and well maintained. From the waiting room, to the x-ray room, to the exam room, everything seems to have been clean and well maintained. Everyone is super friendly and professional. For me it means a lot that they took their time to reply to my previous review and actually decided to make a change. Thanks Rio Dental for caring about your patients!

A really good dental office in general I've finished my braces treatment here and I love my teeth, if you wanted to choose a good dental office to go too I'd always recommend Rio dental. All the assistants and the doctors are very sweet and helpful.

Having 3 kids in sports and lessons can make it difficult to make certain appointments Rio Dental has several availabilities and their staff is always friendly and welcoming definitely definitely recommend!!!

This is by far one of my Top favorite dentist office I have been to, I been coming to Rio Dental for a couple of years now and there is always a warm welcome as soon as I step into the office.The assistants are the best part from my experience, they walk me through every process and make me feel like as I am part of the family.Is hard for me to really explain in a review, but keep up the fantastic work !

Doctors and nurses are good, But I will not go back again. You will wait a long time in the waiting room and then go to sit longer in the treatment room to wait the doctor. I spent more than two hours in the clinic. It is long time . The clinic is not advanced.

My family has been coming here for a few years now and I can tell you that this office does deserve more than a five star review. The office never fails to provide stellar customer service. My wife and daughters, my granddaughter, and my daughter in law have all been coming here because we are always more than satisfied with the service we receive. I am not sure which clinics anyone who left less than a five star review have attended because this one deserves five stars and nothing less!!! I mean come on, in order to provide great service the staff and providers have to dedicate the correct amount of attention time to all patients, so waiting is bound to happen. Let this be the sign that you needed to trust this amazing office to exceed your expectations with you and your families dental needs!!!

Seriously the best dentist office I've ever been to. The office staff are so courteous, pleasant and helpful. The technicians eased my fear and anxiety and made my dental visit very comfortable. Rio dental is a very good and clean dentist. The orthodontist and the ortho assistants are very nice and easy to talk with if you need anything they are always very quick to help! All the assistants are so so sweet and always make you feel comfortable and safe. The orthodontist program is great. I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for an amazing dental office !

I have been bringing my daughter here for years now. I was so disappointed walking into the office this week, as soon as you walk in you can notice how neglected it is. Everything is dirty and dusty, dust bunny's everywhere. There was not 1 clean seat in the entire waiting area. All the seats were either cover in crumbs and dust and foot prints. I understand that a lot of kids come in here, which is why they should try to keep it clean, but it was so obvious that all the accumulated dust and crumbs were not from today. I figure it would only be in the waiting area that was like that, but as soon as they called us back i noticed the same thing all through out the clinic. I was so disappointed and gross out to the point that i just wanted to walk out. Is just hard not to notice and even harder not to think how clean their tools and supplies might be as well. First impressions are very important, specially if you are going to trust them to take care of your teeth. Honestly the only good thing i can say is that all the nurses and doctors are super friendly.

Took my daughter for braces treatment very please with how everything is coming along. Super thankful for Sandra who was very helpful explaining the differences of phase 1 & 2 and being super patient with all of our questions! Started phase one with Dr. mike and entered phase 2 with Dr. Stephanie. Both Dr. are amazing and super helpful in making sure we are please with how everything is moving along. I love how nice and welcoming their assistants are and always make sure we leave with a smile on our faces
