He completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and his dental degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he took part in extensive medical research and won numerous awards including prestigious fellowship at National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. He went on to further his education in comprehensive dentistry with emphasis in cosmetic and implant dentistry at Hackensack University Medical Center.
Dr. Shah is committed to staying current with the most advanced dental treatments with numerous hours of training and certifications in soft tissue lasers, Invisalign clear braces, root canal treatment, and dental implants. Dr. Shah is an active member of the American Dental Association and the New Jersey Dental Association.
Mary is our office manager here at Ringwood Family Dental. Her extensive experience in the dental field, both chairside and at the front desk, makes her the perfect person for this position. You can call her with any questions related to dental work or insurance. She enjoys interacting with patients.
Lori started out as a certified dental assistant from Berdan Institute, and after that, she went right back to school for dental hygiene at Bergen Community College. She has almost 20 years of experience in the field of dentistry.

Very great service thank you to Rosemary Front Desk - who plans to get back to me on my Cigna Ins Coverage for four cleanings a year and whther that is covered? Toni - for good dental cleaning and gentle. Toni was not pushy. Alexis for smiles for the day and her telling me about the customer survey record and to make sure I filled it out. Alexis is a dynamic individual always happy loves too engage and her choice of Gray - hair coloring which makes her "very becoming" (sophisticated but still down too earth). The best dental care I have ever experienced! Dr. Shah is the best doctor. I had very high anxiety and was very nervous . I had postponed the dentist for years because of my past when I was a child . But Dr.Shah, Alexis and Tanya made me feel like family... would highly recommend to anyone!!!

Dr.Shah is 100% the best dentist I have ever had! I have always had dental anxiety and would prefer not to go and suffer from teeth pain! Until I moved to Ringwood and decided to go because of all the positive feedback my family gave me on him! Well let me tell you the moment I sat in his chair he knew I was afraid. Instead of jumping into why I was there he decided to talk to me about my fears and how he will help me get through it! He walked me step by step on what he was doing and always reminded me that I'm okay. I believed I even cried after my procedure was done not because of pain but how calm the whole process was and how I finally found a Doctor who truly cares for his patients! Even his assistant Alexis was so amazing and held my hand through it all and reminded she was right beside me the whole time! Seriously what dentist will take care of his patients the way Dr.Shah and his staff does! I just recently took my 13 year old daughter to his practice and they just babied her and ensured she will be okay! For the first time I heard my daughter say,"she can't wait to go back!"

I've been going to Ringwood Family Dental for over 30 years. The hygienists are gentle and thorough and Dr. Shah is very talented and up to date on all the latest advances in dentistry.

Dr. Shah is a highly skilled and experienced dentist, with great people skills as well. The hygienists, the assistants are all very good at their jobs. The appointments are always on time, I never had to wait. I had some extensive dental treatment done at this place and was very happy with my experience. I highly recommend.
