Both Drs. Philip and Brennan Ring have a simple philosophy: work with what you have, save what we can, and replace what we cant. While some dentists can overtreat, it is our philosophy that patients in our office should only have done what they absolutely need. If we cant show why treatment is needed, we wont prescribe it. We explain our opinion, answer any questions, and ultimately leave all decisions to the patient
Phil graduated from Bethany High School and went on to the University of Southern Nazarene University, graduating with a business degree in 1974. After running a successful roofing and construction business for several years, he went to the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, finishing in 1986. He is passionate about the New York Yankees and is an instrument-rated commercial pilot. In the office, there is both a flight simulator and a small shrine to the Yankees. He has been married to Carla Ring R.D.H. for over 40 years. In that time, they have practiced together, eaten together (Carla is a phenomenal cook), and raised five children, two of which work in this office. Dr. Ring has been on the leading edge of technology during his dental career. Phil bought his first crown-milling machine in 1999, making him one of the first doctors using Cerec CADCAM to make same-day crowns.
Brennan graduated from Bethany High School in 2014 and went to Oklahoma State University where he majored in business. During his academic breaks, he started working at his dads practice as an assistant when he was a sophomore in high school. He continued assisting part time for nine years until he graduated from the OU College of Dentistry in 2021 and joined the practice as a full-time associate. While in dental school, he met his wife Kate, who also works as a dentist in Oklahoma City. His all-time favorite team is the San Francisco Giants, but he also roots for OU and OSU (in that order) and the Thunder. When hes not watching sports or practicing dentistry, Dr. Ring builds Lego, plays Xbox, and watches TV with his bride. In his office, youll find several completed puzzles, like a grand piano and a Lamborghini, and he would love to show anyone willing to see it. Though you wouldnt know it, he lifts weights after work, often in the same gym as BreAnne and Phil.
BreAnne graduated with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Oklahoma and joined the practice in 2012. She loves OU football (some might even say a little too much) and spending time with her family and friends. When shes not following recruiting news, she frequents the gym and could definitely beat up at least one of the doctors (Brennan). Like her mom, BreAnne is an excellent cook and her favorite cuisine to make is Italian.
Tracy joined our practice in 2015 and is loved by patients. As she walked through the office for her interview, Phil sprayed her with his air/water syringe in the hallway. If that didnt scare her off, not much else will. If she isnt working, shes likely spending time with her children, Zachary and Mary Katherine. Tracy also loves to read, travel, spend time with friends, and shop at antique stores. Everything about Tracy is laidback, including her taste in food. There has never been a restaurant where Tracy cant find something shell enjoy.
Jennifer has worked with Dr. Ring since 2003. She has been a steady presence in the office and has been crucial in the practices success. When she is not assisting, she enjoys traveling, cooking shows, and Sunday afternoon naps. Her best weekends include her husband Justin and her niece, Isabella. When pressured, she may tell you she likes this place.
Kendall joined the practice as an assistant in 2021. She enjoys sleeping and working out, but nothing is better than spending time at home with her husband and their daughter. Together, they also have a Shih Tzu Bichon Frise, which is a tiny dog and not an ancient curse. While she loves all food, mushrooms and apples dont love her and may cause allergic anaphylaxis. A hard worker and a fast learner, Kendall has already improved the practice significantly.
Jodi has been an administrator in dentistry for several years, understanding the complicated world of dental insurance and communicating with patients. After graduating with her bachelors, she earned a Masters in Health and Exercise Science from Southern Nazarene University in 2019. When shes not putting up with Phil and Brennans shenanigans, she spends time with her son, who plays college baseball. Have any questions about your dental care? Shes your gal!
