Dr. Cherrington enjoys getting to know patients and interacting with our patients on a daily basis, and finds it deeply satisfying to see patients leave the office with a smile on their face. More importantly, Dr. Cherrington aspires to making a difference in the community through outreach and education for families and individuals because at Rimrock Dental of Redmond, healthy living starts with a healthy smile.
Dr. Jade Cherrington, DDS knew he was interested in healthcare from an early age. He graduated from Orem High School the summer of 1991. He was offered a Presidential Scholarship and immediately started a Nursing program at the College of Eastern Utah. By 1992, Dr. Cherrington was practicing as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and in 1994, he became a Registered Nurse.
After considering different fields in health care, Dr. Cherrington decided to pursue a career in dentistry. He continued to work as a charge nurse at the hospital while attending school and finishing his degree at the University of Utah. Dr. Cherrington was accepted to several dental schools, but decided on the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He graduated magna cum laude in the top of his class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society.
In 2006, Dr. Cherrington started practicing in Central Oregon and moved to Redmond in 2007. He has developed a close relationship with his team and the patients he has worked with over the last several years. While most of his patients live in Redmond, Dr. Cherrington has patients located all over Oregon. Dr Cherrington opened Rimrock Dental of Redmond in an effort to continue to maintain the high level of care he strives to provide for those he serves.
Dr. Cherrington met his wife, Tammie, while he was in nursing school. They have been married since 1993 and have four boys. Dr. Cherrington earned his Eagle Scout and has been involved in scouting with all of his boys. He has volunteered and spent time with his boys as their Cub Master, Den Leader and Coach for soccer teams.
Cheryl graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene, and she has been a registered hygienist for over 17 years. Before becoming a dental hygienist, she worked as a nursing assistant for 10 years. Cheryl has always loved the medical profession. She feels the best part is helping others and making them feel comfortable in a sometimes not-so-comfortable situation. Cheryl enjoys visiting with people and getting to know them. Aside from work, she enjoys hiking, golfing, football and spending as much time as she can with her family.
Kris enjoys meeting our patients and providing a comfortable environment for them. One of the greatest things she enjoys is seeing the transformation in each patients dental health and aesthetic appearance, as well as growing friendships as they continue to visit.
Kylie is a native to Central Oregon. After growing up in Redmond, she moved with her husband to the Portland area for 10 years. She came back and started building a new home in 2019. Kylie and her family enjoy spending as much time outside as possible. They enjoy camping, hiking and fishing. Kylie was really excited to join the Rimrock team. She takes pride in providing the best service to all of our patients.

The staff is friendly, experienced and helpful. The dental work they have done on me is very good and I never have any issues afterwards. The dentist always calls me the next day to make sure I'm doing ok which shows that he takes a lot of pride in his work and cares about his patients. If I ever have to use a different dentist it will be a sad day.

Just love this place!!! Front desk is very sweet and helpful. I was nervous coming from my old dentist of 25 years but am so pleased. The technology they use is impressive and my visits are painless and short. The dentistry is top notch, Dr. Cherrington is gentle, personable and very kind.

By far the BEST dental experience in Central Oregon! The Staff are incredibly kind and caring every time. They care about the patient and it's very obvious from the moment you walk in the door. I love the team at Rimrock Dental! Everyone is so nice here and Dr. Jade and both hygienists are so caring and friendly! I've never had a dentist who personally followed up like he does. My son, who had some sensory issues, gets treated so well, he is always so happy to get an animal balloon from Dr. Jade and a prize from the machine! I highly recommend!

Dr Jade and staff work together like a well-oiled machine. From the moment you arrive to the time you leave you feel very comfortable, like visiting with friends, yet they're professional and precise. I brought my elderly mother to them for an extensive procedure, doubtful that she would tolerate even five minutes. However, they successfully, compassionately guided her through three fillings and two extractions in one hour. I'm very impressed and thankful.

I can't say enough good things! Dr. Jade has the most gentle hand. He's the first dentist where I've never felt the shot in my gums. He's also really great at making his patients comfortable (this is coming from a person with LOTS of anxiety at the dentist). All the staff is so incredibly friendly as well. So grateful to finally have a great dental office in my corner.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Jade Cherrington and his staff. I was very anxious about the appointment and any procedure, but Dr. Jade and his staff made it really comfortable and painless free. The staff was very helpful and kind and always available to help. Dr. Jade is very professional, he takes the time to explain what needs to be done after getting a root canal he took the time to call to make sure I was doing okay , It's not easy to find a good dentist . Very friendly and personable staff. I feel very confident that they have my best interest in mind and I get the impression that they stay up to date with the cutting edge dental care, techniques and equipment and are proficient and comfortable using them. They always make sure I'm as comfortable as possible. (The TV screens on the ceilings in some of the rooms are pretty cool too for the longer procedures) I highly recommend.
