Dr. Riley was born in West Monroe, Louisiana but became a Texan in 1999 when he and his family moved to Southlake. Dr. Riley knew he always wanted to be in the medical field, but after an amazingly positive experience having his wisdom teeth removed, he knew dentistry was his passion and set forth to obtain his Bachelors in Science from Louisiana State University with minors in chemistry and Business Management with the goal of becoming the best dentist he could be. In 2012, Dr. Riley relocated back to Texas to attend and graduate from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in 2016.
After graduation, He felt strongly about expanding his skill set and attended Baylors Advanced Education in Dentistry program. His experience includes a variety of crowns, fillings, tooth extraction, implant placement and restoration, and root canals. Dr. Riley holds memberships in the Fort Worth Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry where he serves on a number of boards and will soon attain his fellowship.
When Dr. Riley is not in the practice, he still provides dental care in local nursing homes to the elderly as he is dedicated to continuing to provide for their oral health needs. In his spare time, Dr. Riley enjoys hunting, weight lifting, and spending time with his wife and dogs, Tucker & Ace (seen above). Dr. Riley and the team look forward to continuing to provide the best care possible for all of your dental needs.

Everybody is so nice and caring. They worked with me and gave me options to help pay for my dental work! I've been to other dentist offices that I feel were using me as a cash cow, but I really trust Dr. Riley!

What a great experience at Riley Dental! The staff are friendly and Dr. Riley is amazing! He listened carefully to my concerns and and took the time to educate and reassure me. He is very knowledgeable and skilled. Dr. Riley did such a phenomenal job with my teeth and makes me feel very cared for and important. He is passionate about dentistry and patient care and it definitely reflects in the way that he treats his patients. Thank you again Dr. Riley!

Since my original review and this being my second visit I am not happy with how this office does billing, not explaining what and how they bill knowing some things are not ever covered by insurance as I discovered when I called to discuss an overpayment on my side. I will never go back to this office.

We are new patients of Dr. Rylie's, we were needing an appointment quickly and they got us in same day. The staff is amazing! Dr. Rylie even called that evening to check on my daughter after a tooth extraction for her ortho appointment. I didn't think anyone did that anymore. They go above and beyond! I LOVE this place! I've been a loyal patient to Dr. Riley and his staff. Everyone is professional, timely, courteous, and highly skilled in their communication and job performance. The office environment is state of the art. Dr. Riley and his staff are compassionate and caring. Kelly is the BEST dental hygienist on the planet. I have been going to this location since it was Radiant Dental under Dr.Shattuck who I LOVED! He did my Invisalign treatment and was my first consistent dentist ever. Dr.Riley took over very smoothly and the office staff remained. I'm back in my Invisalign to correct some issues and he has been so helpful. My recent tray was causing pain and the office was closed. He called me anyway! They got me in at 8am next morning and fixed my tray. I was out the door by 8:30. Great practice!

We love Riley Dental! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Our whole family goes. Kelly was good with our youngest children (8 and 10) to the oldest (17). Highly recommend :)

My husband and I moved to Haslet a few years ago and I drove 45 minutes to see my previous dentist before I found Dr. Riley. I had some pain I needed help with and they were able to get me in so much faster than any other dentist I called. Everyone in the office is so kind and welcoming. After seeing him for my tooth pain, I decided to schedule a cleaning for a week out and the next day I was able to get my fillings done. I was so nervous to come in to a new dentist and Kelly, Dr. Riley, and the rest of the staff made my feel so welcomed. Fillings aren't the best but Dr. Riley and the girls made me feel so comfortable! They are all such compassionate people and I am so glad I found them when I did!

Hated going to the dentist until I walked into Riley Dental. Kelly did my x-rays and my deep cleaning, she has a wonderful personality and the ability to make me laugh, all while executing a perfect deep cleaning (which is not an easy thing to do). She made sure I was comfortable in every way, and that I was in no way in any pain. Dr Riley did my fillings and the numbing in my mouth, he is a very compassionate man that genuinely cares about his patients. I would recommend this dentist to everyone, the entire staff has teated me like family and I will be going here for many years to come. Thank you to everyone for giving me the confidence to smile again

It is really a shame to have to write this review. When this office was Radiant Dental under Dr. Shattuck it was the best dentist office I had ever been to. I gave it a 5-star review(by the way I believe most of these 5-star reviews are from when it was Radiant Dental). The customer service from the front desk is amazing, and Kelly is the best dental assistant I have ever been to. The problem is Dr. Riley. After multiple issues, I do not feel like he can be trusted, and I would highly recommend finding a different dentist. A few examples, I paid $4500 for invisalign braces, Dr. Riley ended my treatment early. I wasn't given an option for continued treatment, and I feel like he lied to me about ending the treatment early. Second, I had a root canal at a very good endodontist, Dr. Attar(I would highly recommend him). After 8 months this tooth was still slightly loose, Dr. Riley wanted to pull the tooth and do a bridge, at a cost of $2500. Thankfully, I went back to my follow-up with Dr. Attar, and he said the tooth was healing better than expected, that it can take over a year for the bone to heal. Third, after I was taken off the invisalign braces, I had my teeth cleaned. Dr. Riley said I needed 4 fillings. I find it highly unlikely I needed 4 fillings. I was brushing my teeth like 8 times a day in the invisalign braces. These are just a few examples, the bottom line is, I don't feel like Dr. Riley can be trusted, Particularly when he recommends major dental work. Almost like when you have your car at a bad auto mechanic. I am not sure if he is motivated by money or is just not a very good dentist. But I can tell you I am out $4500 for braces and over $800 for his family dental plan for my wife and I for the year. And If I had listened to Dr. Riley, I would have been out another $2500 and a tooth. I would highly recommend going to any other dentist, this last year with Riley Dental has been an awful experience.
