Founded in 2011 by Dr. Carlos Lopez, Riggs Family Dental offers innovative general and cosmetic care to our patients in the greater Chandler area. As a SPEAR-trained dentist with over a decade of experience, Dr. Lopez focuses on therapies that better the overall health of his patients.

Dr. Lopez is a 2005 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is originally from Long Island New York, and completed his general practitioner residency at SUNY Stony Brook in 2006. He is also a SPEAR-trained dentist, meaning that he assesses dental problems as they relate to patients underlying conditions, overall health, and health history. This detective work allows him to assess the true causes of his patients dental problems, not just treat them on the surface. With this information, he can educate his patients on how to prevent, restore, or avoid further complications in the future.

Dr. Mark Lamborn was born in Edmonds, Washington but has lived all over the world including Mexico, Germany, and Holland. He attended the University of Nevada, Reno where he studied Nutritional Science and Spanish translation.

Shortly thereafter he headed to San Francisco where he acquired much more than his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. Dr. Lamborn met his wife Paola in the city where they married.

I enjoy the art of clinical dentistry. My objective is to build a relationship with my patients, staff, and colleagues to provide the utmost care for my community. With over 15 years of experience, Im able to provide multiple phases of treatment and discuss treatment options that will be best suited for the patient.

Dr. Eric Maurer completed his undergrad in Management of Information Systems from University of Northern Iowa. Dr. Maurer then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Iowa College of Dentistry.

Donna holds an Associate Degree in Applied Dental Hygiene Science. She has been with Riggs Family Dental for 5 years. Her favorite part of her job is the patients! She loves helping people, sharing with them and learning about their many walks of life.

I obtained my Bachelors of Science degree in dental hygiene from Northern Arizona University in May of 1994. I am very passionate about dental hygiene. I love educating my patients and helping them have the healthiest mouth possible. I focus on providing a very thorough yet gentle cleaning while ensuring the comfort of my patients. I especially enjoy getting to know my patients and learning about their lives and experiences.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. Ive been married for over 25 years and have 3 amazing children! My hobbies include baking, cake decorating, and reading. I have loved living in Arizona since 1983. I enjoy the pool in the summer and hiking and other outdoor activities the rest of the year.

I tend to have anxiety when it comes to the dentist. The staff and Doctor were all so friendly, and welcoming! The staff was talking and narrating the duration of visit, which eased my mind during the initial visit. The staff answered all my questions, and explaining along the way as needed. I am feeling overall confident in having any and all dental work done going forward!

It started as a emergency visit for a extraction. Everyone was polite understanding and worked to get me in same day! After how great that visit went I continued my dental work with them and even have both my kids getting their dental needs done here too. Dr. Lopez is an amazing Dentist he walked me through the entire process. He listens to your concerns ,and does not cut corners, he takes pride in what he does and it shows!
