Ellisville and OFallon orthodontist, Dr. Charlie Ries, was born and raised in Ballwin, Missouri. He graduated from St. Louis University High School in 1997 and went on to accept a basketball scholarship to Northern Illinois University, where he earned his degree in Biology. Dr. Ries went on the earn his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from Southern Illinois University. Upon graduation, Dr. Ries practiced general dentistry and completed a one-year General Practice Residency at St. Johns Mercy hospital before deciding to specialize in Orthodontics. Dr. Ries completed his advanced Orthodontic Residency at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. Charlie and his wife, Molly, have three sons and a daughter.
It is such a pleasure to develop enduring relationships with our patients and I look forward to creating confident, beautiful, and lasting smiles for each one of them. I am especially pleased that I can practice in my hometown and that my family can be part of this wonderful community.

Great experience. Dr. Ries was my ortho (Invisalign) and my daughter is mid ortho treatment. We both have had a great experience. Dr. Ries is very knowledgeable and very good at communicating. I would recommend him to anyone who needs ortho treatment. Bonus, all the staff members that I experienced were very friendly!

We not only love Dr.Ries, his staff is second to none in our Ellisville office!. Not one person is lacking a smile or giggle. Always welcoming and making our family feel so comfortable, we know we are in the best hands to make our smiles extra perfect. Smiling is the key to happiness and these guys have it on "LOCK"! My son broke his bracket on a Friday night and we were leaving for vacation early Sunday morning. After I called Dr Ries and told him the situation he offered to come in at 8pm even though he was leaving himself for a trip early Saturday morning! He went above and beyond to make sure my son was comfortable on our vacation! We were very thankful for this amazing service!

I absolutely Loved my Invisiline experience with Dr. Ries at Ries & Cherre Orthodontics!! The staff is so friendly and absolutely phenomenal with customer service. From the first consultation visit, they walked me through the process and made the entire experience so easy! Dr Ries is an expert in his field and answered all of my questions and concerns. There was never a hard sell to get Invisilne. He just explained what he could do for me and then delivered on his promise. The outcome was perfection, and I am so happy with my improved smile! Do NOT waste your money on cheap online solutions. When it doesn't work, you will end up spending more money fixing your teeth with Invisiline. Check out the amazing work of Dr. Charlie Ries!

Wow! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ries and his team. I had exceptional care throughout the duration of my Invisalign treatment, and I was so happy with the end results, I cried happy tears right there in his office. The process is daunting and you have to do exactly as Dr. Ries recommends, but if you listen to his guidance (brushing, flossing, wearing your trays), you'll end up more than satisfied! I am so glad I chose Ries Ortho, and would recommend this place and team to anyone that needs orthodontic care.

Stopped by the office to schedule an appointment nearly 5 years after last visit to fix a loose bracket on a permanent retainer wire. He saw me and took care of the problem immediately. Always personable and a pleasure to talk to him again.

Our experience with Ries Orthodontics has been a fantastic one! All three of my children have been or are current patients at Ries. We had three daughters go through the process of braces at Ries Orthodontics. Every visit was easy to schedule and expectations for appointments were explained in advance so we knew approximately how much time to expect. Appointments ran on time and the friendly staff always took time to walk our daughters out and go over the visit with mom or dad and ask if we had any questions. We have recommended Dr. Ries to many others as we appreciated his kind "chairside manner" but mostly his honesty! He approached each situation as if he was telling us what he would (or wouldn't) do for one of his own children. We never felt that he did any unnecessary procedures (as we have felt we've seen at other orthodontic practices). He was very straightforward in that way. When we ran into an issue or unusual circumstance, he was very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us to our next steps and recommending another doctor for us to see. We have continued to call Dr. Ries' office for various situations even though our kids are several years out from having their braces. They are always accommodating and happy to help!

Two years ago, Dr. Reis put braces on 3 of my family members (husband and 2 sons). Before choosing Dr. Reis and his team, we had 3 consultations by reputable orthodontists in the Ellisville area. Dr. Reis quote was reasonably conservative while offering the latest in technology, without unnecessary technology and perks that escalate the quote. Dr. Reis and his team are professional, personable, knowledgeable, and offer many years of experience in orthodontics. As my family members are soon to have their braces removed, I highly recommend this team of experts to all who seek orthodontic treatment at an affordable price!
