Having my own dental practiceis a dream come true for me.As an undergraduate student, I spent multiple summers working as a dental assistant right here in Northern Virginia. This experience reinforced my conviction to both pursue this wonderful profession and to eventually return to the area I loved so much growing up. I treasure my experience as a dental assistant because it has given meadditional perspectiveto delivera consistently positive experience for my patients.
Although my formal education is complete, I constantly continue my dental studies through courses and seminars both locally and nationally. Being a dentist is a lifelong learning opportunity, with new developments in both materials and techniques emerging every year. I constantly seek out and attend continuing education classes in order to bring the most informed perspective I can to the treatment of my patients.
I have been practicing dentistry for over 18years, and I love working with the people in our community. I am fortunate to serve such a wonderful and diverse group of patients that spans many cultures and generations! I enjoy catching up with our patients and sharing stories. It's what makes our office a truly family-friendly place and a fun place to come to work.
Being a dentist comes with the challenge of helping new patients overcome any anxiety they may have about coming to the dentist. I always take the time to make each patient feel comfortable and relaxed, and make sure they have a great experience here. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a new patient leave with a smile!

After traversing the Northeast with my husband, Elliot, while pursuing our undergraduate and graduate education, I was thrilled to return home to the Northern Virginia area. Finding the beautiful South Riding community in which to raise our two wonderful children has been a blessing beyond our expectations.
When I'm not at the office, I treasure being an active parent to my children and shuttling them around to many of the terrific activities we have in the area.When I find time, I also enjoy reading on my Kindle andpracticing yoga.

Made an appointment for my mom to get her dentures fixed and first appointment went smoothly. But what happened after that has been unsatisfactory, to say the least. First off, they told my mom that it should take about a couple of weeks to get it fixed and to come in for the fitting. Unfortunately, she didn't hear anything from them for more than a month and had to call them on the status! Next, she went in for her second appointment and asked them how soon can she get them back after they make the necessary changes. They said another couple of weeks!! My mom was livid and expressed her concerns about the delay. So they end up saying that it can be done quicker but they would charge an "express fee" - unbelievable!! If you want your teeth done in a timely manner, this is definitely not the place!!

I went off of the great reviews and made the jump to this practice for my husband and myself from a more commercialized practice. I have to say, this was the best experience I have ever had at a dental appointment. The hygienist was great and very knowledgeable. Dr. Nguyen is a gem. She was personable, explained everything is great detail and made the experience a great one. We have been looking for a more "family feel" dentist, instead of feeling like just another patient number and we have found our place. 10/10 recommend!

I've been coming here for 10+ years now, since I was a kid, and I'll definitely keep coming here unless I move out of state. It's a very personable and friendly office, they have a kind and professional staff, and they're efficient and always do an amazing job - I'd honestly hate to go anywhere else. Would give more stars if I could!

The best dental office I've been to; a wonderful mix of professionalism in care with a family atmosphere, where everyone knows you by name and welcomes you. "Going to the dentist" is never a good experience, but Dr. Nguyen and her staff/family make it the best it can be. I was there yesterday. Rebecca gave me the most thorough yet gentle cleaning and then Dr. Nguyen followed with the needed professional care. I recommend them enthusiastically.
