We are happy to file forms necessary to allow you to receive the full benefits of your coverage; however, we cannot guarantee any estimated coverage. Please keep in mind that we can only estimate your portion. Because the insurance policy is a contract between you and the insurance company, we will not enter into a dispute with your insurance company over your claim.
Dr. Tamar grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey. She obtained her B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she received her D.D.S. During dental school, she participated in a global outreach program to Jamaica, where she first realized her passion for pediatric dentistry. Dr. Tamar went on to complete a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. She then continued her post-graduate training in pediatric dentistry at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she served as chief resident during her second year.
She is a member of the ADA and AAPD and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She was awarded Top Doctor Bergen County in 201 Magazine (2017-2021) and NJ Top Dentist (2019-2021).

Dr. Tamar is wonderful! It took a few different dentists for my kids until we finally found her practice, and I'm so glad we did! She and her staff are both considerate and patient when it comes to working with my children, especially with my youngest who experiences anxiety. If you're looking for a thorough doctor who explains everything to not just you, but makes your child feel comfortable as well, both before and after the procedure, this is your place!

Wait time is usually very short and the dentist is very polite and professional. In addition, I really appreciate the dentist call personally to check on my kid a day after an extraction.

Dr. Tamar is amazing ! I brought my 6 year old son who had bad cavities and she was very caring and patient with him. She was making him feel comfortable by talking to him and telling him stories the whole time. Highly recommend !

My sons adore Dr Tamar. My older son looks forward to going for his visits and makes us go see her when we are at the pediatrician in the same building. He says one of the highlights for him during COVID was running into her in the parking lot with Cookie. The staff is so wonderful, too. Truly one of the best office experiences around.

though this business has a very high rating I have to report a Billing Fraud alert. The doctor is super warm spending 20 mins with kids for picture etc after a 20 min procedure. Yet that comes with a price, a bill of $465 was sent to me, with a big surpise I went to insurance web and found my liability is only $115. The frontdesk receptionist is not apologitic at all and very rude to deal with. Would not recommend
