But she especially enjoys spending time with her 2 granddaughters.

Karin has been a certified and Registered Dental Assistant for the last 30 years. She has attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and completed the courses for full mouth cosmetic reconstruction and neuromuscular dentistry. She has been Dr Boardmans right hand women at Ridgewood Dentistry since 2010. Karin goes above and beyond to ensure that every patient receives exceptional care. She is instrumental in making sure the clinical area runs smoothly. Our patients love her and she is an invaluable member of our team. In Karins spare time she can be found enjoying time with her husband and family on the Cape or lounging by her pool.

Tara has been in the dental field for 33 years. She was a dental assistant for many years and over time moved on to office manager positions. Presently she is the Oral Sleep Appliance treatment coordinator for Bergen County Center for Sleep and the Office manager for Ridgewood Dentistry. Tara has been with Ridgewood Dentistry for the past 4 years and is an excellent liaison between Dr Boardman, our referring doctors and patients. She also handles the daily operations of the practice to ensure the patients have a comfortable and positive experience. Tara enjoys decorating and gardening but especially spending time with her family and friends at the Jersey shore.

Madonna has been in the dental field since 2009 after raising her 2 boys. Madonna is dedicated and determined to help patients understand both the financial, clinical and insurance related aspects of their treatment. She is a kind caring professional who shows extraordinary compassion in patient care. Madonna graduated from Montclair University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science. Madonna also has experience in the insurance industry which enables her to be proficient at deciphering dental insurance policies. In her spare time Madonna enjoys singing with her church choir and spending time with family and friends.

Roberta has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for the last 35 years. Over those 35 years she has worked in a periodontal, pediatric and general practice. While working in the pediatric office, she developed an extra gentle hand with her young patients. Through this experience, she has maintained that gentle touch as her everyday practice. Her time at the periodontal practice taught Roberta specific periodontal techniques. Again, she carries these skills over into her daily dental schedule. Roberta has a unique way of comforting and educating our most anxious patients. Even after 35 years she still loves being a hygienist! In her spare time Roberta can be found on her boat enjoying time with family and friends.

Dr. Boardman holds a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, a Diplomat of the American Board of Sleep Medicine, as well as memberships in the American Dental Association, NJ Dental Association, and Bergen County Dental Association.

Dr. Boardman provides patients with sleep apnea or disruptive snoring an oral appliance solution to getting a restful night of sleep. With a reputation for excellence in sleep apnea and snoring dental devices, Dr. Boardman works closely with area sleep centers, ENTs, pulmonologists and cardiologists to ensure his patients are getting the most effective treatment. Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT) is a safe, comfortable alternative to CPAP.
